From 12pm waiting and they showed up at 5 pm. Took 5 hours to move a simple job one bedroom set and an office w 20 ready to go boxes two tvs a round table and armor . They over charged me and broke my tv. One guy looked totally high wobbling all over the other was throwing up. Asking me for water and food almost dying of dehydration and were sloppy when their boss said they were late for taking lunch. This people seemed like they got picked up from the corner and had no idea what they were doing. DO NOT HIRE THEM u will pay the price like I did. The people they sent other than the girl were not fit to do the job and I lost a tv because of it and paid two times more the quoted time because of their unprofessionalism and they even lost the key to the truck. I got the run around every time I called and lost over one thousand dollars because of them. I don't wish that for anyone. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY this move was a horrific experience. I had to help because they weren't doing it. One tv broken and 5 hours later for 3 people plus me is unacceptable. I will not be threatened or forced to take this review down like they do to others and tried to do to me. BEWARE DO NOT HIRE THEM

Beware of EZ Movers of New Orleans! I inquired and scheduled my move from Toulouse Street to a…read moreStorage facility three blocks away on November 19th. At that time, I was quoted $310. Over the phone, I informed them the items included moving pre-wrapped and boxed items to storage. I did specify on the phone that I have a 72" toolbox on wheels and informed them my house has the standard three steps to the porch. To clarify, I was never given any form of documentation to sign. I called to confirm the day before November 24th. While on the phone it was brought to my attention that they had inaccurately scheduled my move, but I was reassured they would still be able to complete the job. The day of my move was November 24th at 9:00 am. I was contacted by the moving company at 9:30 am notifying me that they would be late. The estimated delay was an hour. Once they arrived the communication between the men was poor, to begin with. When he arrived, one man asked to use my restroom and then talked on the phone with a lady. I did a walk-through with the "team lead" and he confirmed that they would still be able to complete my move in the allotted time. An hour later I was contacted by ez movers to inform me that they were now late for the other job and would have to "rush" my move. The only items in the truck at that time were a dresser, two small nightstands, a small loveseat, an industrial sewing machine, and three small chairs. The men opted to lift the furniture into the van never utilizing the truck's ramp, dollies, or the hand cart I provided. After the phone call from the company things got worse. Four small cube shelves were loaded along with two boxes and a chest. Shortly after they dropped my cutting table worth $1,200 while going down the steps and again over the curb instead of walking a short distance to use the driveway. The most damage was done to my $1350 Husky toolbox. They dented the bottom, and sides, scraped the butcher block top, pinched the cord and knocked off three of the six wheels then proceeded to scrape the bottom while loading it in the truck without a dollie. I had to go over and place the dollie under the side without wheels and physically and verbally direct them on how to roll it up the ramp. After that, I stopped the move. I led the men to Extra Space Storage where they proceeded to damage and run items into walls. Upon unloading my $1000 sewing machine was placed on a dollie that was too small. As they were rolling it down the ramp one of the men pushed down on the edge of the table bending the metal bar that the machine petal is attached to. Multiple times they almost pushed my toolbox off the unloading ramp. While the men were unloading I called the company to inform them of the damages and discuss further action. I paid $150 of the $310 via Venmo. The owner offered to complete the move and personally replace the toolbox wheels. As of December 1, I have not heard back from the company. According to our multiple texts and phone calls (I have documentation confirming those) I am scheduled to complete the move on December 3rd at 10am. I will be following up with a complete account of the events. I am still undecided if I will accept their unsatisfactory offer... Update: Roge (the owner) completed the move as stated in his text messages, but as of December 10th, he texted me that he had already fulfilled the compensation he promised. His evidence for this is an arbitrary monetary number prescribed to his labor. None of his numbers match the numbers I was originally quoted and agreed upon. After giving me the runaround this emphasizes has no intention of fulfilling the previously agreed-upon arrangement for the damages. I am left with a toolbox with four broken wheels, a broken sewing machine, and I am sure there are other damages that I will find when I move out of storage. Beware!
