Chris and Raul showed up right on time with a 17 foot truck. We were trying to save money by moving as much as we could on our own, so they made quick work of our large items and since the house was a mile away they were able to do the job in two hours. They were very careful with our items and with carefully getting them into the rooms they belonged. This is what I found on the website of Movers NOLA. When I called and asked if they carried insurance Christian said yes, of course. So, based on this and Yelp reviews, I hired them. This company damaged almost every piece of furniture I have. When I called Christian and said I needed to file a claim he told me they don't carry that kind of insurance. So sorry but there was nothing he could do, not even refund the money I paid him to have thousands of dollars damage done to my furniture. Want to take a chance on these guys? I would not use this company. I should have known something was up when he walked in and gave a time but the head guy said it would not take long. First they damage my sofa. They moved fast when loading but during unloading, the guy started moving one box at a time when he clearly could have use the dolly. It only took one guy to break my bed down but to drag out time, he pulled the third guy to help. Slowing time down is not a good business practice. Is that a way of stealing money?
