About a month ago, I brought my iPhone 6 to Thomas to replace the screen. Upon my initial visit with Thomas, everything went well. He had the replacement screen installed within 15 minutes and my iPhone appeared to be fixed. After a couple days, there would be times where the home button would become unresponsive and the screen would blackout. Doing continuous hard resets seemed to be the only way I could bring my screen back up. Soon afterwards, I noticed the screen becoming detached from the rest of the iPhone. I also began getting vertical lines on the screen. I contacted Thomas explaining the issue and met with him earlier last week to resolve it. Although he kept insisting I dropped the phone, he did glue the parts of the screen that was detached back on, but the vertical lines remained. I explained to him more than once that I did not drop the phone. I asked him would completely uninstalling the screen and reinstalling it fix the vertical line issue? He became irritated and stated "No" and I would have to pay to get the screen replaced again. I've owned an iPhone for almost 10 years and have never had screen issues like I've had over the last 30 days. Thomas's defensiveness when talking with him about my phone was very disappointing. It leads me to believe the Thomas I initially met was fake. So, less than 24 hours from having my iPhone screen glued back on, guess what? The screen was peeling back up again. So, rather than addressing this issue once again with Thomas, I took my phone to another business to get it fixed. It took very little time for the tech to say the screen and glue was of low quality, hence the screen peeling and vertical lines. Although I had to pay more money to get my iPhone fixed properly, I'm more so disappointed in how Thomas handled himself and the lackluster job with attempting to rectify the issue. Needless to say, my iPhone is working perfectly now AND the business I had to fix it gave me a 90 day warranty. I will not be taking my phone back to Thomas again nor will I recommend anyone to patronize his business. Update 8.29.2016 This is just to give any readers of this review some background: The reason why my screen broke in the first place (before I initially had Thomas replace the screen) was because I took my phone out of its case and I placed the phone in my side pocket. Due to the iPhone 6 being as thin as it is, it flexed in my pocket which caused the initial cracked screen. The entire screen was cracked, not just one side. Dropping the phone did not cause the issue and was never an issue. I take very good care of my phones and I still have all my phones I've ever owned and they are in great condition. Update 8.29.2016 In response to Thomas's response: There were no cracks on the bottom right side of the screen. What you were looking at was wear on the edge of the screen protector from me using my left thumb to operate the device (swiping, texting, etc). Thomas, you could have easily lifted the screen protector to see that the actual screen you installed was in fact not broken whatsoever. You also mentioned that the screen was completely out of the frame. That is not true. There were only two sides which were lifted and that was the top and right side. The bottom and left sides were still attached. If the screen was completely out as you said it was, I would not be able to use my phone at all. Discount for a new screen? You never once offered a discount for a new screen. The only thing you articulated is the fact I would have to pay to get another screen put on my phone. I shouldn't have these issues within 30 days of having my screen repaired. Even with that being said, I'm not looking for a discount. I don't bring up the fact that I'm a veteran to receive special treatment. The only reason why I'm addressing it now is because you decided to bring it up. Whether someone is a veteran or not, the fact that anyone comes to patronize your business should be reason enough to help them any way possible. If I told you to "go ahead and fix the issue", that would mean I would not have had to go elsewhere to get my phone fixed properly. The only clear indication I'm getting is the difference of quality product and service I've received from you and the other business I took my phone to. In my initial review, I spoke of the difference between my initial appointment with you versus the second appointment. Your disposition during the second appointment and your current response just adds to the disappointment and I would hope that you will learn and grow from this experience. The fact that my phone has been working great since going to the other business speaks volumes. read more

I have been using Tom for about 5 years. I just used Tom again today to replace my 3rd cracked screen on my iPhone X. I have never had any issues at all with the screen repairs that Tom has performed. All previous repairs were for my daughter's phones until the last year. Now all of a sudden I have had three screen repairs myself. The screens cracking are my fault. I have never had a crack screen until this iPhone X. I have always had an Otter Box Defender case on all my phones, but I refuse to put one on this phone because it will be making an already large phone even larger and bulkier. I am paying for that decision now though. The first repair on this phone, I called and he met me at Chili's and repaired my phone while we ate dinner. Tom has always been courteous, friendly, and service oriented. His prices are lower than most other repair shops and his location is very convenient. I would give Tom 10 stars if it were an option. That's how good he is. I cannot say enough good things about this guy. The touch screen was not working and screws on my phone were stripped. I went to 4 different "phone repair" places and called one more. ALL said that there was NO fix (3 of those did not even look at the phone), they said that my only option was to get a new phone because they could not do anything to get the screws out. I gave him the phone Friday evening, and yesterday Saturday he called to say it was fixed. I brought my iPhone 5 to Thomas to replace the cracked screen. I was unsure if I wanted to spend the money on my iphone 5, or just put that money towards a new one. Thomas talk me into repairing it by saying he would "throw in a screen protector" and repair my headphone jack for the same price he was quoting me to replace the screen. It is really a weird kind of feeling doing business with this guy from your car, and then handing him your phone and him disappearing into his apartment with it. Anyway, everything went well. He had the replacement screen installed within 15 minutes and my iPhone appeared to be fixed. After a couple days, there would be times where the home button would become unresponsive and the screen would blackout. Soon afterwards, I noticed the screen becoming detached from the rest of the iPhone! It was not glued properly. I also began getting vertical lines on the screen. I took the phone to someone else and they took the phone apart to see that a part was floating around causing the digitizer to not work properly. I was then forced to decide to spend even MORE money on the iphone 5 to have it fixed properly, or just buy a new one. Thomas bragged about how quickly he was able to repair my phone. Perhaps he needs to not be so speedy quick, and do quality work. Oh yes, and the phone jack never worked either! I ended up buying a new phone. He met me outside explained the process, took the phone and was back in 15 minutes with a repaired screen. Over this past weekend, my phone suffered heavy water damage (from the ocean), so I contacted We Fix iPhones for consultation, and it was suggested I bring my phone in for a physical inspection. Tom, the owner, notified me that the damages were most likely beyond repair, but he still took time out of his evening to open the phone, clean the corrosion, dry the materials, and perform test on the device simply to help out in my time of cellular need. After several attempts to revive the phone, Tom notified me that the device motherboard was fried and unfortunately there was nothing he could do. However, he did possess additional iPhones that he offered to sell me so that I wouldn't not continue the day phoneless.
