So after she started getting an error upon boot up indicating that her hard drive was failing, I looked on Yelp for a computer repair place close to her house and sent her to Qwerty. If they were dishonest, they could have taken the computer for few days and told her she needed a new hard drive and charged her a couple hundred bucks. She wouldn't had any idea and with me not being there, I would have had to take them at their word, but instead they found and fixed her issue on the spot and didn't charge her anything at all. They certainly should have charged her *something* for the time, effort, expertise and availability, but they did not. Someone only needs to know a little bit more than you do to make problems seem bigger than they are and to take advantage of you. Computer and car repair seem to have this issue a lot, but these guys are quick and honest so you can't ask for anything more than that. They have earned my respect and loyalty!

I originally thought it was psu so I replaced it but that didn't fix anything. Over time I was able to narrow it down to an issue with the gpu. I thought I was out of luck and needed to replace the whole thing which would've costed me probably around a thousand or more, but then I saw this business online and figured why not give it a shot. so I gave them a call and it was chris who was super quick to answer. He told me he will be open and to bring it in on Friday if I wanted and so I did. Originally when we had talked over the phone I had only mentioned the gpu needing work, So when I got there he wasn't quite expecting me to bring in the entire pc along with a list of other things I wanted done to it. But fortunately, he was super nice and told me he will handle it no problem! He had it done next day (Saturday) which I was super impressed and excited to hear figuring the paper I got upon drop off said he will start working on it by Monday. I was also pretty mind blown how cheap it was thinking before I went in that I was going to have to pay hundreds of dollars for the list of stuff I unexpectedly gave him but that just wasn't the case at all and the estimate he gave me stayed exactly the same. It was obvious he went through and double checked everything even giving me extra unneeded wire that was accidentally installed on the psu. I went home after that and booted the pc up and tested out a few games and what do you know, no more black screen or overheating both cpu and gpu were running cool. it was finally fixed after years! I definitely recommend him 1000000% to anyone needing help/work with their pc. You can tell he does it for the love of the game and not just money hungry. Marvin called me back within minutes and fit me into his tight schedule knowing I had renters arriving soon with the 50 inch TV flat screen not working. He quickly diagnosed the problem. He said one of your renters broke the Roku remote. Unfortunately, we had no time to order a newcone. He left. purchased a new TV set nearby with my approval and installed it all within 2 hours! He also checked the operation of the other two flat screens we had in other areas of the home. Marvin is also a wiz with the computer software downloads and applications. I set the passwords on the TV a year ago and couldn't remember them. He said, pull out your laptop, and he guided me through several applications where I could find the password I set. He then reinstalled our Roku Account, Spectrum account, Netflix Premium and PBS with all our passwords. He checked the other two TV sets to make sure everything was still operational after the set up. Lastly, Marvin put the 1 year old TV set that was still working in the new TV box and placed it under the bed so we can have it for future use. He suggested it would be good to have a couple of remotes as backups because he sees this all the time. It will break in the remotes by depressing the button too hard and too long and it freezes the TV set and it breaks the remote. Without question I recommend Audio Video Helpers.
