I'm very disappointed by Young Drivers for how my daughter's driving instructor absence was…read morehandled. I received her lessons confirmation on Monday for the next day at 5. By 5:30 the Instructor didn't show and I didn't get a call or email from Young Driver's. I called the main number to inquire and I was transferred to the scheduling line. After being on hold and listening to YD ads for about 10 minutes, my call was answered and placed on another hold while the rep checked and informed me the Instructor had a family emergency. When I asked why I wasn't informed. she said it was overlooked and that the Instructor was supposed to call me. My daughter's schedule is extremely busy so I asked for another Instructor for Wednesday which is the only day she's available this week. I mentioned that she didn't have lessons over 3 weeks ago. When I originally reserved these lessons, I was told that the Instructor would be on vacation the first 2 weeks in February and that I had to wait until he returns as he was the only Instructor in my area. The woman on the phone put me on hold and told me that they would need to get hold of someone else and they would get back to me later that evening. She asked me to hold yet again, then came back and told me I had to wait until tomorrow for someone to get back to me to see if there's any other Instructor. She kept telling me the the current Instructor was the only one In my area. If a class is missed by students, YD charges $70 for a 90 minute lesson. So how about what I need to charge them for their absent driver with no notification? This is very unprofessional for a big driving school like Young Drivers where the cost is more than double than other driving schools. I need to know how YD resolves this kind of unprofessionalism?

Despite the many times I made mistakes when driving, he was calm and explained how I could improve everytime I took a lesson with him. I passed my G2 first try thanks to him!
