Convinced that the vast majority of the reviews on google are fake. I decided to go to all-star…read morebased on the high ratings and the fact that one of my friends also went there. It was only until later that my friend told me about her bad experience there and that she essentially ended up teaching herself how to drive--she mentioned how her instructor was constantly on his phone and she would have to drive him to random places every lesson. Unfortunately, I couldn't say I had any better of an experience. I specifically requested an instructor who received a lot of praise in the google reviews in hopes for a better experience than my friend's. Not only was he on his phone often, he was extremely unprofessional and rude when I made mistakes. He would change his directions on a whim and get extremely whiny and angry when I would get confused by them. I understand getting frustrated and the occasional scold but his comments were downright inappropriate (ex. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU??", "CAN YOU NOT SEE?!!") Honestly, I don't get why people choose to work with teens/new drivers when they don't have the patience and consideration for it. Instead of being constructive, you are setting up teenagers to be unconfident and anxious drivers. If you're looking for a driving school, I'd recommend AMB and Young Drivers. Those of my friends who've been to these schools all enjoy them and are confident drivers.

I had a great experience learning to drive with my instructor, Ejas, at Top Choice Driving School…read moreMarkham. He was everything you'd want from an instructor- extremely patient, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process. His calm, kind, and clear instructions helped me to feel more confident behind the wheel with every lesson. Ejas always took the time to explain things thoroughly and made sure I understood not just how to drive, but the exact techniques and rules necessary for safe driving. The lessons were always well-structured and I felt at ease with him at all times. Not only that, but he also checked in on my welfare, my family's welfare, and always made sure I was doing okay. What I appreciated most was the encouragement, positive attitude, and forgiving nature. When I made mistakes, forgot to reply, and even made his life a little harder sometimes, he always remained patient and helped me without feeling discouraged. Thanks to his guidance, I not only felt well prepared and confident behind the wheel, but passed my G2 test on the first try. I would highly recommend Ejas to anyone looking for an intelligent, reliable, kind, and patient driving instructor. 10/10!!!
