The online portion was great but the in-person lessons were not beneficial for me at all. A lot of my friends and classmates had used this driving school so I was quite excited to start. But my driving instructor, Amy, was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Our one-hour classes would be cut short to 45-50 minutes. She would 100% of the time talk on the phone during the lessons and speak in her native language quite loudly, which I have multiple recordings of. She always had an unpleasant look on her face and would book me on dates I did not agree to and then would charge me for those classes. On top of that, I was not taught the minor important details for passing the test as she would be too preoccupied talking on the phone. I did not learn about roadside stops, we went over reverse parking maybe twice and parallel once and I was never told to check my mirrors or to move to the rightmost lane. These tiny things are crucial for passing the road test and I did not learn much from it. She had checked it all off on her list but half the things I did not learn. The vibes I got from her were unpleasant, it felt like she did not want to be there and it did not make a good experience. My advice, if you are going to go with this driving school, is don't be afraid to speak up if you want a new driving teacher. I was scared to contact the school as I thought it would be rude, but after all you are paying for the service. On that note, once I finished my driving school I emailed all star and it took them one month and 3 follow-up emails for a response. But the number may be a better way to contact them. Nevertheless, stand up for yourself so you can get a good driving instructor and learn what you need to know. Now I have a private driving instructor and he is great, although I am paying extra I am 100% prepared for the test!

A year ago, I tried taking my G test with instructors from other driving schools and ended up failing twice. I had to get my G2 all over again so I went back to Zameer and he helped me passed again in Aurora (First try!). Today we went to take my G test and I FINALLY PASSED!!! I am so happy that I decided to go back to Zameer, I wish I went to him earlier for my G. He is the best instructor, he gives you all the tips and tricks to being a safe and confident driver in order to pass all the road tests. I highly recommend him, especially if you're a new driver and can't get much practice on your own. His driving school is award winning (2018 and 2019 consumer choice award, and 2019 top choice award). You know you're in good hands!

The instructor, Saad, and I agreed to meet up at 12:30 pm, but 30 minutes before our meeting he suddenly texted to change it to 2:15 pm I could not make it since I had other plans. I got fed up because this wasn't the first time he switched the meeting time at the last minute so I called the school to ask if they could switch my instructor. Guess what happened? They told me to pay 40 dollars for the cancellation fee when Saad was the one who repetitively changed the meeting time at the last minute. Additionally, at the end of my first lesson, he pulled out his phone and started filming me, and pressured me to talk about how much of a "great instructor" he was. Not to mention that during the lesson, he played a recorded video of another student complimenting his lesson. He also followed me to my workplace (as I had my work shift just after my driving lesson), and he started to advertise his driving lessons to my co-workers, which also made me feel uncomfortable. Anyhow, in addition to their ridiculous demand of 40 dollars fee, they were very aggressive during the phone call: they completely disregarded my complaints about his unprofessional behaviours and proceeded to shift all the blame onto me. There is NO way a driving school as unprofessional, unorganized, and utterly incompetent as this one should operate.
