Jeff is not only an amazing driving instructor but an-all around awesome man. After going to Allstar Driving School, I needed immediate help. My driving skills were terrible; Allstar Driving School had done absolutely nothing for me, except take my money. Everyone did what they wished in class and the teachers didn't care at all. When I had driving lessons, Allstar took me to Tim Hortons to hang out and get a coffee, instead of teaching me how to drive. I went for my G2 with Allstar and failed twice. After being recommended to Jeff at Formula 1, I decided to give Jeff a call. I did a few lessons with him and finally ended up passing my G2 on the first try with him. It was an obvious, no brainer when I had to go for my G test, to call up Jeff to help me prepare for that. He got back to me within seconds; I did a couple lessons with him before my highway test and I passed on my first try. Jeff taught me everything I need to know about driving, including how to reverse and parallel park like a pro (I will forever count out loud all the steps during a parallel park, thanks Jeff!!) He gave me the confidence I needed to pass and he cheered me on the entire time. He truly cares about all his students and his positive energy is electric. I actually chose to go with this driving school after doing some research in driving instructors. A Formula 1 is a very solid driving school, my family used this driving school in the past and it has been in service for a long time. The instructors are very clear with their wording and what they are try to teach you to do. They want you to succeed and tailor their lessons to help you become a better driver and help you in areas where you have trouble. I never felt that I wasted my money because I did see where my money was going and my driving skills were definitely improving. You do have to put in the work but you do get results. There are different packages to choose from when doing lessons. I would recommend this driving school over All Star driving school if you are using this review to compare. Some of my friends went to All Star driving school and they left in tears and gave up on their driving licenses with the confidence completely destroyed. I passed my G test today with a 95% score and all of this thanks to Jeff. He is a true professional and you can tell immediately because of the quality of the directions he gives while you're driving (precise, detailed, to the point) and his style (relaxed, friendly and positive). Today, I could clearly see the examiner paying attention to all the things Jeff had told me to do in every situation. And believe me, the exam sheet is detailed and you'll need to have lessons with someone as knowledgeable and experienced as he is. Don't trust people who are going to charge just a few bucks - I spoke to a few of them - because they hope you'll fail and have more lessons with them. I loved working with Jeff who is really amazing and he was always able to work around my schedule. I loved the way Jeff taught and helped me face the G full test fully and totally prepared and confident. Most people will not take the time to write a review. I am guilty as charged but I needed to take the time to give my thanks to Jeff Pope for training my son to get his licence. My son originally went to a driving school in Maple that all the kids have been going to and he did not have success the first time around. I successfully completed my G2 exam and it was in great part due to the driving instruction I received from Jeff with A Formula 1 Driving School. I began my lessons with a different driving school in Maple but I wasn't receiving proper instruction, and my lessons were no where near a full hour as advertised.
