ODC also included a "Roof Tune-Up" where the entire roof was inspected, replaced pipe donuts, clean-up of roof vents and pipes (sanded and painted), nail pop-ups repaired, repairs to flashing, and replaced missing or damaged shingles. Upon completion, I was provided with before and after pictures. The owner, Terry, came out to my property to complete the initial inspection and estimate. I did not experience anything like those reviews and I do recommend them. July 2020 I contacted Premier Chimney and Roofing to come sweep and inspect my chimney. I had learned about them in a local advertisement mailer. I read the good things about them in online reviews. I had a pleasant conversation with them in scheduling the appointment. The technician came out, swept, inspected, and showed me before and after pictures of his work. He showed all the cracks in my tiles and took the time to explain what my options were to fix it and the severe risks of continuing to use the fireplace. We scheduled to have Premier re-line and re-cap my chimney. They explained Heatshield, the product chosen to re-line it. During the winter, my wife noticed water coming down the chimney through our wood burning insert. Premier was dealing with a temporary COVID related shutdown and I had to use another company for the fix. Matthew, Premier's owner, wanted to see the job through; wanted to make it right. He didn't hesitate to review the work order and reimburse for the work his company would have come out to redo. That's good business. I will definitely use Premier in the future for my chimney needs.

After reviewing all estimates, we chose Ocean Roofing to do a full roof replacement and some siding replacement because of their comparable pricing and professionalism. Sid was very responsive and thorough with answers to the questions we had along the way. The scheduling person was easy to work with as we had to postpone work due to the Nor'easter. Sid's crew showed up on time at 7am, protected our landscaping well, worked efficiently, took pride in doing quality work, and left the job site clean. Along the way Sid let us know there was a damaged truss and his team repaired it. The siding crew also noticed a gap in the existing siding and came back the next day to fix the other side of the house before the cold weather.
