Estate Kings? More like Estate Jokers! . Went to the Chelmsford Estate sale someone else…read morementioned and was surprised (not pleasantly tho) by the whole scenario. We have been to literally hundreds and hundreds of estate sales in multiple States and these people are one of a kind... and not in a good way. Waiting outside, Brain the owner comes out to speak to folks. He's wearing a Go-Pro type set up in a chest rig. One of the other gentlemen there asked what we were all thinking... "Are we all going to be audio and video recorded?" Seemed like a reasonable question. Brian then answers what must have seemed like a challenge to him by saying "yes, do you have a problem with that?" The man said he didn't and it was a simple question; having been to hundreds and hundreds of estate sales we've never been audio and video recorded "for your protection and ours" Nope. Oh he added for "social media" use. When it was almost time to go in, Brian in full camera chest rig goes over the process and when he was speaking about being kind, he told people "don't be a douche bag" to others!!! You could literally feel the crowd cringe when hearing such base, coarse language. Then after great build up about all the GREAT stuff, and with a split level house with small spaces, he says everyone can go it at once.... this was a real "S" show inside with so many people literally rummaging around in such close proximity- literally elbow to elbow so close one could hardly move not to mention pass in the hallway. After stumbling across the other Yelp reviews here, it would appear we are not alone in our feelings. Fair warning.
