These guys reached out to us first and within 5 minutes. I explained that all we needed was 3-4 pieces of furniture and they came in and did their magic. They came in, were careful with the wooden floor and helped take everything to our storage place. We needed to switch the times a little because of other jobs they had but it was worth it and they kept us in clear communication the entire time. We want to hire them again and will recommend to friends in the area too!

This was a small studio apartment move. They were careful while loading and tying everything down. I rented the 2 guys for 2 hours. This was the first time I ever used movers to load and unload a truck. I always did moves myself. The movers who unloaded the truck in Minnesota were done in an hour and 20 minutes. $250 was the charge and I tipped them another $100 because they were so professional and friendly. Exactly 3 minutes after the two hours at 12:03 John called me. The way he started out I thought he must have been sitting there staring at the clock because his first words to me were, are the guys finished loading. I replied they are standing right here. They have three small pieces ready to go on the truck. His immediate, and I mean immediate response was, well I don't do increments of minutes or quarter hours so if you don't want to pay $130 for them to load those pieces tell them to stop. Being in upper management most of my working life I would have never began the conversation in this manner. I'm 72, I knew how to get myself or my company recommended by others. I told the guys to stop loading, I will finish this myself. John heard me tell them this because I had him on speaker. I wanted John to hear me tell the guys I don't want to get you guys in trouble, I'll finish up myself. John started to say something after I told the guys I'd finish up myself, but I hung up rather than continue listening to him. Had I thought about it I would have gotten the phone numbers of the two Arlington men who loaded up the truck and told them when I hear of one of my daughter's friends moving, or one of the people I know, I will call you and tell you I have a person who wants to deal with you guys but not John. Do it on your own personal time. Start your own business. This is how the guys who unloaded the truck in Minnesota got started. They've been doing it 12 years and I can see why as they unloaded the truck. This is never about money with me. I tipped the Minnesota guys $100 and I had no problem paying the $250 for an hour and 20 minutes it took them to unload. I could have used them 40 more minutes and had them unwrap everything and set everything up, but we wanted to do that. It wasn't what John said to me, it was how he said it, then tell the guys to stop, as if that was supposed to make me say oh no, please, don't stop, I'll pay the $130. It's a person's choice how they wants to run their business, however, this is not how you get a recommendation when you start the conversation in this manner. You can use the exact same words used on me but by using a different tone it will not cause the the customer to say, I'll finish it up myself. Sales pitch: I was…read morepleased with the professional manner of the man I spoke with, and the website's stated goals of donating usable items to charities such as Habitat and Good Will. The pricing was unusual - all I had to do was send the company photos of the rooms and they would give me a quote. Workers: came on time, worked hard to remove items from 3 levels. Were friendly and polite. Issues: I doubt any of the usable items ever made it to any charity shops. Wooden furniture was torn to pieces before ever getting past the back door. Wooden shards and pieces of broken glass were scattered around the lawn. A feeble attempt was made to pick up debris scattered INSIDE the house; I gathered another bagful myself. A company is no better than the people they hire, the instructions they give, and the supervision they provide, in this case, apparently none. I would recommend management presence near the beginning and end of the job at the very least. And it behooves the workers to be equipped with at least a DustBuster or shop vac for any loose debris such as broken glass shards. I have been to many charity shops, and I shudder when I think of the people who could have benefitted from the furnishings LoadUp destroyed on this job. Value: I have been told the fee was low. Maybe that was a tip-off. I have had only one previous experience with a "clear-out". It was 34 years ago, 200 miles away, and THEY paid ME! What a difference!!!

I was sexually harassed by a crew on a Thursday morning, as I was leaving my house to walk to the…read moregrocery store. There was a crew of two men, one of whom looked me up and down and made remarks in a sexual nature to me as I was walking past him. I stopped immediately and responded, and then took pictures of the truck and the license plate. I called the number on the side of the truck immediately and spoke to someone to report the incident. I will give credit to the person I spoke with - he confirmed that this was unacceptable behavior and that he would be calling the crew and writing them up for the incident. He asked me what the street intersection was and what the license plate number was so he could confirm which crew was responsible. While I appreciate the swift action and the validation of the unprofessionalism from the person I spoke with, I wanted to publicly note that this is an establishment that hires folks who think it's okay to sexually harass women on the street in the morning in broad daylight - who knows how these people operate behind closed doors.

That has entailed a need to get rid of everything from an old big screen tv, mattresses, a sofa that weighed a metric ton, to miscellaneous things like scrap metal, rotted wood, old clothes, and enough dead leaves for a lifetime. I was shocked at the amount of actual "junk" we allowed ourselves to build up without brainstorming letting the professionals remove it, prior to now. I'm so glad we did though, because Junk Unlimited did the heavy lifting that would've taken us days, in a matter of a couple hours. Best of all, is that when I tried to be nosey (hehe) and find out where they dispose of people's junk, I was advised clothes and things of that nature are typically donated and that metals, old appliances, and things of that nature get recycled. Look at me being green with my dear old junk, LOL. When I reached out to Junk Unlimited, I was so pleased with their prompt response time, reasonable pricing, flexible hours including early mornings / weekends / evenings, and my overall customer experience. Then on the day of doing our junk removal, the Junk Unlimited team was so friendly and professional. They stayed on task with what we needed them to do and all the guys were very handsome *cough cough I meant polite, in case you're reading this, Husband LOL. They were literally in and out in no time and ready to head to their next gig, but I wanted to extend them some lunch I'd ordered for a job well done, before they left. The owner mentioned that they practice a standard of being early for their jobs, as what they consider to be on time so they couldn't sit to eat but after I insisted, they at least accepted to-go boxes I forced them out the door with. Communication has been equally frustrating. Eunice is often unresponsive to emails and has claimed that messages were never received. After an entire week without any pickups, I decided to cancel our service. When I contacted Eunice, she stated, "The driver said the recycling or trash was not set out." However, both the trash and recycling bins were placed out the day before the scheduled pickup, as they always are.
