TLDR; This company put a roof on my house that didn't last even 1/4 of the promised time; when I reached out to negotiate reimbursement (because a new roof is needed), I was blocked by the owner, with no response. If you need any kind of roof work done on your home, or you want to be treated with any kind of respect, then absolutely DO NOT go to Brandon's Home Repairs. When he put a new roof on my mom's house (while he worked under a different company name), he assured her it would last about 4x as long as it actually has. We have to put a new roof on, which is expensive, so I reached out to the owner, to explain the situation and see if we could get compensation. Of course nobody expects their first request to just be paid, and I was fully open to negotiation, but it didn't seem to right to post a review without even giving him the chance to make it right. However, after being ignored, and now very obviously blocked, without any kind of response, I'm more upset than if he had just said no, or been unable to reach an agreement. When I looked up his previous business, I found that I'm not the only one this happened to, either. I guess if you're looking for a short term fix, then this business might be fine. But for any kind of honesty, or long-term work, I'd look elsewhere.

There were numerous transitions and surfaces changing in pitch and several hundred feet of ridge line. I stressed that quality was important for me. I did not want any short-cuts or sloppy work and use the best materials as required to get great results. They responded with a quote quickly. Their price was competitive Keep in mind your hiring the people doing the work not the guys with the biggest signs on billboards that never get on the roof. The man quoting the work will be doing the work. That is very valuable to me. they were able to work with my timeframe too. Through the project (to their surprise) I climbed all over the roof several times carrying bundles of shingles or other materials and assessing the workmanship from 2 feet away. I'm an engineer. That's right, the worst people to do work for, and I never even one time had a comment for them to fix something. In fact the owner, who gets on the roof and works all day, came to me to ask if they could redo a section he was not pleased with at his expense because the sun had melted the materials making them not look perfect. This meant they would have to come back an additional day to work in the near 100 degree august heat. Their cut lines are straight, the overhangs are consistent, they feather in the ridge shingles like they should. they stop and replace things that don't look right, they do a great job flashing in valleys and running straight ridges, they use caulk in all the places that need it. They even come back after it's all done to check in on how the shingles settled in with the sun! It's your roof and your money. Hire a marketing company if you want or do like I did and hire a roofing company.

When the guy got here I told him the area to sort of to start with and he found the problem and repaired it. I ask for him to take measurements of that section for possible replacement of that area if it gives me further problems. Measurements were taken and they would get back to me. All reasonable conversations. So a few weeks went by and two roofers showed up at my house saying they are going to take measurements of the entire roof for a estimate on replacement. I hadn't spoke with anyone at anytime about replacing the entire roof. So I called this company and reiterated that all that I wanted was a estimate for was the section may need replacement if I have any more problems. The response was okay I'll get it right over to you because I right the estimates up. Okay great. Several weeks later no estimate so I called looking for my estimate.
