This is a two store chain of grocery stores. Nothing fancy at all and prices are OK, but what stands out is the lunch counter. It's your traditional 1 meat, 2 veg and a bread of some sort lunch. I got the chicken and gravy over rice, turnip greens with bits of turnip, fries and 6 hush puppies all for $5.29! It was a massive amount of food. The fried chicken was delicious and with the gravy and rice it provided a hearty meal. The turnip greens were some of the best I've ever had. Yes walmart will give you better prices for most groceries, but won't give you is a local business catering to the needs of the community. Go the lunch counter hungry and enjoy every single bite! read more

Clean, well supplied grocery store. Quality dog foods, rocking chairs, live plants, fishing gear and equipment, egg cartons for sale, extra discounted section, meat department will cut to order, well organized, great selection of ice cream's, pharmacy section for non-prescription over the counter needs, some unusual seasonings, sometimes they have hot food to go like after church on Sundays. Sometimes I have great sales! read more

Great service by the meat department. I went there twice while visiting family in Lucedale. The manager and entire staff were super helpful and friendly in cutting my steaks and helping me package them for a flight out of the country. Thank You! read more

Nice "little guy" grocery store. They have their own butcher will cut meat 2 order unlike Walmart which brings their meat in already pre-packaged. Several times a year they have a large Meat sale with lots of good buys. read more

I have never been in here but first impressions are a big deal. This is the third store I have been to trying to get cilantro at. Walmart is 58cents and sold out, the Mexican Market is a buck but was really not too fresh, and well this place has their cilantro for $1.79- yes you heard me right. A buck seventy nine and it's all rotting. Rotting black slime on ALL of the bunches. Mr Produce where the heck are you? Doesn't anyone manage this department? What a joke and three times the price.
