I already dislike this place for a number of reasons: It's unsanitary,i found almost rotten fruits multiple times, found meat past its expiration date and was also turning a grayish color, this place is not even that cheap, and the list will go on, BUT NO- This time I got a bag of ice right? Well- I noticed they were all smaller right? Well I thought it was because of shrinkflation No- I get home and I noticed the bag was a regular sized bag that was cut in half, they didn't even add plastic around the bottom so the ice wouldn't fall out, now I have a random half cut bag of ice that I can't use because A it's all the ice is frozen together B if I smashed it to separate the ice it would fall out, so if you want to go here for any of the following: Fresh/SAFE food, Ice, a clean environment, good prices well don't... This run down place being one of our local grocery stores is such a let down to this town. One of the older workers commented on my grandmother's body, food found that was expired and fruits that had mold in them. The place honestly needs some touch up with how bad it looks inside, the smell of the place, smells like something died in the air vents. Experience 0/10. Do better Lucedale. read more

My second time visiting Wayne Lee from out of town. Special requests to cut steaks were no problem. Friendly and professional. I would like to recognize Willie and meat department on my visit New Years eve 2021. They were busy and tired but when I asked to have some steaks cut special Willie did not hesitate and said "yes, I can do that for you!" and he did with great attitude ! Thanks Willie! read more

Very poor customer service. The produce dept. Was very bad. No fresh vegetables. Will not return. Will spend my money elsewhere.

I've tried several times to get a Western Union money order cashed at this location, and each time the refuse stating that they will only cash a money order from their store. This makes no sense at all, and completely defeats the purpose of a money order. I will NEVER do any kind of business with a location that does not uphold what they say they will do. read more
