Just drove from Pascagoula to Perkinston for the workers to be inside and tell us they already cleaned up and it's a hour and a half before closing time. We got here at 5pm and they close at 6:30pm it says online. Waste of gas and time. read more

If you are broke, don't bring your kids to this place. WHEW. First, let me correct myself. They came in their cute little mobile truck to our small little town. It's a Friday and I think my daughter deserves a treat. So....her and I stop for a quick dessert. We are both mind blown by the appeasing photos on their truck. Toppings on cheese cake. Brownies on ice cream. Sour straws on snow cones. The possibility was endless. It's like a mini Willy Woka shop. I opted for the berry gentilly which if you haven't had Rouses gentily cake you would have zero ideas what real gentilly is. This thing was over flowing with fresh fruit and had a slab of cheese cake on top. A whopping $9, for a SMALL, but definitely plenty. Boogie daughter decided she wants a rainbow snow cone with several PREMIUM toppings (each $3). She ate only the toppings. I almost choked her with the left over sour straw. Totaling $25+ plus tip. Yeah, I cried when they told me the price. Was it delicious? Yup. Did I eat every bite? Absolutely. Will I be back? After I hit the lottery. read more

We saw the Snow Boogers trailer parked in the Ocean Springs, Tractor Supply parking lot a few weeks ago. We had previously heard how good they were and we were not disappointed! One of the best we've had since moving to Mississippi a year ago. Unfortunately, I'm having a hard time finding where and when the mobile unit will be in our area. We were able to place our order while still in our vehicle, her service was polite, prompt and absolutely delicious. I'm hooked! read more

Wiggins, Mississippi isn't known for much. There are some decent backroads for motorcycle riding, pretty scenery and nice people, but other than that...not much to say. But... they have Snowboogers. I know what your thinking, what the hell is John talking about- boogers made of snow? boogers in snow? snow in South Mississippi? why the hell are we talking about boogers?? In the South, it gets hot. Really hot. We have humidity that will make you sweat out all of your bad decisions from the night before. So, to battle the heat and humidity, we like to eat snow cones. If you're from up north, and you don't know what a snow cone is, go outside in winter, take some snow, put it in a paper cup and drizzle flavored syrup over it. Welcome to summertime joy. You're welcome. Since we don't get snow down here, we have to make our "snow" using ice shaving machines, but we have them in the summer when we need them the most, so it works out fine. Snowboogers takes the snow cone to a whole new level. A hundred flavors, candy toppings from everything from pop rocks to gummy worms, M&M's to nuts. You want it- they'll make it. Great service from the most polite, helpful and respectful kids behind the counter and they even have a deck and a big detached pavilion with picnic tables. They are smack dab in the middle of the country so you can enjoy your sugary, cold confection of heat relief in the peace and quiet of the tall pines, soft breezes and the slow pace of easy Southern living. Personally, I recommend riding a motorcycle to Snowboogers so that you can take full advantage of the surrounding roads and scenic routes, but if you absolutely MUST visit in a car- then fire up the GPS because it's sort of out of the way. Trust me though, the best way to experience genuinely good, local food and local delicacies, we have to get off the main highways and stop at places that we might otherwise pass by without a second look... especially when they have a name like "Snowboogers." read more

Going against the grain here, but this place isn't worth the hype. The worker doesn't know any of the toppings or flavors so when you ask, they say, "I don't got that, does it say that?" Their treats may look really pretty, but the service to make them look that way takes forever. We waited 30 minutes for two orders. And traditionally, a shaved ice and ice cream combo would use soft serve ice cream, not store bought hard scoops on top of a snow cone. All around, just a disappointment compared to what we expected. read more

Snow Boogers is a dessert shop basically in the middle of nowhere so you would think it would be worth the drive. You can find it pretty easily because it is painted garish bright pink and green with boogery graphics. If want to experience some of the worst customer service ANYWHERE, like we did on our country drive, than be sure to go here. The hand written board menu is not well done. It tells you how to order, what add-ons there are and how much each one costs, but explains nothing about what the product is or the basic flavors they offer. Is it a snowball stand, ice cream, what? It seems they may be some sort of snow ball stand. But it offers no info to that fact. They do tell you that that they take credit and debit cards--for a $1 add-on fee. They also advertise Barq's floats on the windows-- which are not see through for the customers. The service windows are covered with pixelated sun screen that the employees can see through but not you the customer. For a place that only has walk-up windows that is pretty much the height of unfriendly. But it gets even better. For service, after you make your selection, you have to knock at the window in an undesignated spot. Don't bother to look for a bell, ringer, ect. because there is not one. After waiting in line behind a small family for several minutes for them to make up their minds they finally knocked. And knocked, and knocked in different places about the window frame to get the servers attention hoping that there would actually be one available inside beyond the secret window. When finally the aloof young man answered of course the family had questions because there are no descriptions of any product. You can guess how helpful he was. Their questions were not answered intelligibly and they decided on something else. I'd been in line over 10 minutes and the $1 charge for using a payment card just kept staring me in the face. It was the only thing clearly written on a second board. You would think that a small business in the middle of a pasture in the country would actually want your business. But with the lack of any credible customer service skills both at the window and the menu boards it is obvious that this place could care less what you think; hence the blocked windows to the clients. I wanted to try the product, but I'd rather spend my money with a friendly face at a business that I at least feel welcome at when I arrive. I don't mind waiting but not for this FAIL army. I won't give it another shot I'm afraid. I can get better service at the DMV. read more

We stopped by after my daughter's soccer game, with a few of her teamates. This was my first time visiting snow boogers, but my daughter has been before, and has not stopped talking about it. The product is of the highest quality. It's not really fair to call it a snow cone. It's much better than that. They really put a lot of pride and effort into their product. The people are very nice and so grateful for their customers. The price is what you expect for this kind of product and there is a wide enough range to make it affordable for everyone. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I will be bringing my family back. read more
