I've now been living with the result of David's planning, aesthetic judgment, and skillful…read moreexecution of an enormous window covering in my living room for several weeks now. His work and ideas have made the house better and much more functional than it was before. David's approach is very careful and detailed, as the previous reviewer noted. He has a great eye and an artistic perspective tempered by a practical understanding of the uses of window coverings in the sometimes hot, sometimes cold, always dusty environment of northern New Mexico. The end result is a beautiful, useful addition to your life and home- and reasonably priced, too. He's way past "highly recommended" if you need window treatments- he's essential.

upon receiving my new blinds I came to realize that the bottom piece that sits on the windowsill…read morewas too wide and was scraping the paint off the recessed area of the window. When asked to fix this issue,David came out today(3/27/2024)and said that he would take the blind to his shop, cut the ends and have to charge me to do so.The estimate I received (1/8/2025) stated that installation work was guaranteed for two years from date of installation.Blind was installed 2/4/2025.He took the end bracket off one side and there was paint on it! He put it in his pocket.I asked for it back before he left my house. On further inspection,I see there is paint on the other end piece ,too. These are necessary brackets that keep the blind in it's proper horizontal space. He denied that he measured incorrectly over and over again. After he removed the end piece, he solved the issue of the exposed end with a piece of scotch tape.Seriosly, you have got to be kidding me!Totally un-professional.When confronted with his lack of customer satisfaction he became rude and obnoxious.I paid him a LOT of money for these blinds(there were 2 other blinds with this order)Cannot find a business address for him either.Seeing my name come up here on your review page I see my name (not many Susy's spell theirs with a y at the end like I do)it states that i am from San Francisco.Never lived there.

I truly appreciated their thorough and thoughtful approach to everything, including steering us away from our initial request to one that worked better for our house despite it being a less expensive project overall. The final product looks great and you can tell they put a lot of effort into making sure everything fit and looked perfect, and as our house is an Earthship, anyone who has lived in one can tell you how difficult that can be! I would recommend them to anyone looking for chimney, fireplace, or stove services in the Taos area.

Dryer vent cleaning at the suggestion of another pro...Leroy at Premier appliance Repair…read more Scheduling was easy and I was advised twice about the scheduled work so that I couldn't forget... Justin and his assistant showed up an hour early...actually a nice surprise. They had all needed tools and supplies on hand. They started working promptly. After looking at our situation...a 25 year old venting system that had been cleaned maybe twice before, Justin offered some sage counsel which amounted to using a different approach to connecting our dryer to the thru wall roof top exit point. It required some new fittings and tubing but improved every aspect of the connection and greatly enhanced air flow from the dryer. The work took about an hour including detail cleaning the dryer back, and floor underneath. I could immediately tell the difference in dryer performance...it almost breathed a sigh of relief.
