Uriel happens to live next-door and he has stood behind the workmanship. He's been very helpful at connecting me with some of the subcontractors he used so that I could do a few little changes or upgrades here and there. And when we did have any minor issues either he stood behind it or the subcontractor that did the work took care of it. I wouldn't have any hesitation about buying another house from Uriel.

From the owner: When asked to size up a project or a property I apply my 40-plus years in construction across…read morenorthern NM; sometimes during an initial, informal visit to the property; and sometimes by formally applying my 240-plus question list to help an Owner more fully understand what they are getting into. I may provide the initial site plan and floorplan-elevation studies, but typically the actual design and specification work gets turned over to a designer or Architect. I also help owners find a qualified contractor, though that is getting trickier. I often set up the initial site development-build budget, with the understanding that these days the best I can do is identify the specific individual costs on a spreadsheet, assign initial values, and sometimes help track expenditures across the duration of the build. Overall, I apply a great deal of experience on an hourly basis via a Consulting Services Agreement. I typically set a cost range for the initial assessment, another cost range for the initial design and planning, and, once the plans are complete and a Scope of Work is identified, I can establish a cost range for the actual build process. Let me know if you would like to discuss what I offer in greater detail.
