I saw Mr. Las Vegas about 23 years ago with my husband (boyfriend at the time). He was fantastic! He knew how to work the crowd. He would come off the stage and walk around the venue singing and greeting people in the audience. When he came up to me, he kissed me!! Yep, Wayne Newton kissed me! Ah the memories.... Anywho, I saw him again in 2025 during my annual Vegas trip for my friend's birthday. It was a small, intimate venue. Every seat was good. Wayne is now 83 years old. He is showing his age a bit now (after all, he is 83!) but he still seemed very sharp and had a great memory (he did a lot of flash backs and story telling of his history - which was actually very interesting). He is super talented and plays multiple instruments, which sounded fantastic! read more

Finally!!! I had the pleasure spending the evening seeing Mr. Las Vegas, himself, Wayne Newton!!!! His performance is worth the ticket! Very unique and very Wayne Newton!! His show definitely delivers! He spoke about his life with a video montage of the classic Hollywood era, and the icons he worked with throughout his career and life. Very impressive! You bet, he sang his greatest hits! You'll be well entertained for 90 minutes! My friends and I had front row seats, in this intimate setting. And at 83 years old, he still has it! I love Vegas. So much so that I've been here a couple dozen times. I'm fascinated with the glitz, and I'm fascinated with the history. Wayne Newton is a Vegas icon, and I've thought about getting tickets for a long time. It just so happens that he had shows scheduled this week, so I decided to go. Newton is an outstanding performer. He knows how to captivate the crowd and engage them. That is especially true in this intimate, up close and personal venue. While his singing voice has diminished with age, he can still belt out a tune. But the real gem is in his storytelling. Through a simulated Q&A the audience is taken on a journey of his career as a singer, musician, and actor. He tells stories and augments them with clips from performances. You also learn interesting facts about his career. It appears that he was always where he needed to be at the right time and that the legendary performers he encountered early in his career nurtured him and protected him from the industry. There is a reason Newton is known as Mr. Las Vegas. It is not a self indulgent title but one he has earned through hard work and artistic showmanship. Want to know more about this legend? Then treat yourself to his show and enjoy his enthusiasm for his craft which carries over to his audience. He mentioned that you can take people's money without having an impact but when you take their time you are taking a part of their lives. Let's just start by saying it was worth the money. Wayne is an icon and has had a long career. This show was a very intimate look into his career from Wayne himself. The theater is nice and small and allows you to be up close and personal with him. He interacts with the crowd and also plays instruments in his act. I loved going over the history of his career and the many fun facts about those he worked with in the show biz industry. I especially loved the fun facts about the Vegas Vacation movie he was in. Absolutely hilarious. They allow you to bring in drinks and there is a bar right next to the entrance for you to buy some. Please have enough respect to silence your phones, turn off the flash and do NOT take FaceTime phone calls while he's performing, so rude. read more

The fact that Wayne Newton is 80 years old and still performing is pretty amazing. While he can't hit the notes he used to, he can still sell a song and knows his audience. You have to respect that. Without giving too much away, there's more talking and video clips than singing. Watching some videos on YouTube, the show continues to evolve but I enjoyed his live duet with Sammie Davis Jr. He also plays a few different instruments which was fun. The theater is great. Honestly, there isn't a bad seat in the house. The sound wasn't overly loud like some shows, but the sound mix was sometimes off. If you want a possible interaction with Wayne, you will want to sit in the front. If you are celebrating anything, let them know when you are seated and he'll mention you in the show, and depending on your reaction, you might get a little more attention. I'm bummed I never saw Wayne Newton live in his prime, but the stories of a bygone era are priceless. read more

What a fantastic show. I've been to plenty of Vegas shows, to be wowed by feats of acrobatic skill, magic, strength, mind reading, so on and so forth. All of those are like watching an online video; great, you got to see it in person, but there's no soul to it at the end of the day. My wife and I got married in Vegas and have been visiting for decades; we love the city, its history, the gambling, the shows, food, etc. I've of course been familiar with Wayne Newton for quite some time, and yes I've seen Vegas Vacation like everyone else, where he easily steals the show from Chevy Chase's dated comedy bits. I thought you know, maybe we should go see what is really the last piece of living Vegas history spanning several of the past eras, given he's the only person who's both performed consistently in Vegas across the past six decades, is still alive, and is still performing. Did I go in expecting to hear him perfectly reprise a bunch of his musical hits? Of course not, he's 80. Honestly I don't really care much for his music. After reading reviews about this show and learning that it's much more about interacting with the limited audience, offering stories and history, showing photos and videos from back in those days, and just going on a tour of his life in Vegas, I thought this is something I have to see. We absolutely loved it, even as probably one of the youngest couples in the room. Seriously, there were people there who'd come as part of 40, 50, and even 60 year wedding anniversary celebrations. He just came across as such a genuine person enjoying what he does, and who will likely do it until the day he dies. He still has his wits and charm even if not all of his singing voice. His wife, and some band members who've been with him for decades, are also part of the show. I saw Wayne Newton last weekend, and it was - without a shadow of a doubt - the best Vegas show I've ever seen. And keep in mind, I'm a 35 year old man. So, it's not as though I'm the typical age of a stereotypical WN fan. That being said, my wife and I were blown away from the get-go. WN is lively, looks great, operates with top notch class, seems to genuinely care about doing a good show, and is EXTREMELY well-rounded. During his show he did a little standup, a lot of rich storytelling (which is worth the price of admission itself, imo. WN's stories are like a Time Machine through the evolution of American music), and - of course - great music. But it wasn't just singing; WN also played guitar, pedal steel, and fiddle. So, regardless of your age, you really owe it to yourself to go see this show. Guys like WN represent a generation where guys had to be legitimate showmen in order to survive. Even today, WN's decked out in a tuxedo, makes his band do the same, and ALWAYS has a smile on his face. I was legit shocked at how a man his age could have more charisma than just about any of the younger acts I've seen in recent years - & I mean that in all sincerity. What more can I say? Wayne's show was classy, charming, & entertaining from beginning to end. I wish Wayne another hundred years! read more

I had the absolute honor and pleasure to attend this show with my wife last week. I must say that Wayne was someone that I didn't know a lot about. I knew he was a child prodigy and remembered him from the Jerry Lewis Telethon and of course, Vegas Vacation. Wayne came out and sang many more songs than I expected and although his voice isn't what it once was, it was perfect for who he is today. He was personable, funny and his stories and videos were top-notch. I laughed often and even shed a few tears during the performance. It was honestly one of the best shows I've seen in over 40 trips to Vegas. You can take photos and video during the show and I'm thrilled to come away with memories that we can re-live. I only regret that we won't be back until March, but if he is still playing, we'll be there again, 100% certain. We bought just the general admission tickets, but we were so close, as it is a very small theater. Even if you don't know Wayne well, like me, give this show a shot. I promise you'll be glad you did. I've been to this show three time, most recently this past Friday night (April 7, 2023). Wayne's voice was a bit tattered after doing shows in California the prior nights, but totally expected for a pro of 81 years. He didn't let it bother him at all, and plowed right through the show. The show hasn't changed in the three shows I've seen over the past years, and the questions supposedly put forward by the guests earlier in line, were still the same questions at every show, but the wonderfully dynamic historical videos and Wayne's fabulous way of retelling the stories far out ways the repetition of seeing the same show. I went into this skeptical, but let me tell you I really enjoyed myself. I don't love the Flamingo to begin with, but it was worth venuturing over there for this. The venue is very small and intimate-- we sat in the second row. Before the show they go through the line and ask if you are celebrating anything special so that Wayne can shout out to you during the show. There is lots of singing, intrument playing, and just a good times to be had during the 90 minute performance. Lots of nostigalic videos also play during the show, but fear not, Wayne sings and will make you feel like you are in old Las Vegas. Highly recommend even if you aren't a "fan". If you want a drink, make sure you get it before hand and bring it in with you!!! read more

Thoroughly enjoyed the show. We had front row seats and he actually came down and sang to us and shook our hands. Much of this show is story telling. He probably sang 7 or 8 songs. But they were his best. The rest was telling interesting stories of how he got his start, all the other famous people he has met and worked with and supported this with video screens rolling footage and photos of his performances going back to when he was very young. On stage he played three different instruments very well to further demonstrate the natural talent this man has. It was great to see such a historic, legendary performer still doing his thing. I've been wanting to see this show once I had seen an ad for it. Wayne is such a long time icon. My friend & I were worried we were going to be the only young people @ the show. (Our ages 35 & 45) We did find that there were others around our ages & higher so not bad @ all. The show room is small. Bally's has more then one show room so make sure you ask when you pick up your tickets @ the Box Office, which is located across from hotel check-in where the show room is. It's actually in the back, right. Escalators next to a little cafe that takes you upstairs. There was a line to go in as we arrived shortly before 8pm. It moved quickly. There was a line @ the bar so I decided to get seated then hit the bar when it probably wouldn't be so busy. The showroom was cute & very nice. We had seats to the right of the stage, way to the right. At first I thought the seats were going to be horrible as we were to the side of the stage but we were still able to see things. They also had TV screens on stage. Obviously seats in the middle would have been better. We sat on high chairs with a little round table next to them. The show was apx. 90 minutes long so after awhile my legs were getting achy from all the hanging they had to do. Wayne combines some singing acts, with jokes & video's of him when he was much younger. It was great learning some facts about him that I never knew. He also had a gorgeous blonde lady who was helping him out by asking him questions from the audience & singing some back up on his songs. This is all I will say about his performance as I want to leave it a surprise to you for what you will see & learn. When I got a chance, apx. 35 mins into the show I got up to use the bathroom, which is located on the same floor as the show. Then I hit the bar when I came back. After discussing drink sizes & ounces of liquor put in them I ordered a grey goose vodka with diet soda. I was told one ounce was $12.00 so two ounces would be $24 so I had that put in the smaller cup ( a double). The bartender had asked me 3 times if I wanted diet soda with it & at the 3 rd time I just looked at him & told him he had already asked me that question twice already. He says "I just want to make sure I get it right." Really cause you couldn't after asking me two times?? He then asked me a 4th time...........I was like "YES!!" "I know it's not something one hears all the time but yes, vodka with diet soda." Seriously.....?? I drink this all the time. I'm thinking maybe bartending is not his thing....lol They serve popcorn & candy too. I noticed the popcorn machine off & empty. I asked if they had any & was told "yes" & another guy behind the bar handed me a container of one. (It was good stuff) The price for that is listed $4.00. My whole tab came to $32.00 as I thought about it once I was back in my seat. I wondered where he came up with that amount after telling me grey goose was $12. Was I charged $4 in tax? Not sure, I never got an itemized receipt which drives me crazy when business's do that. I want to see what I'm paying for. Oh well, I wasn't gonna get back up & miss more of the show to go ask the bartender who has to ask me 4 times if I want diet soda in my vodka...!!! This show has some singing my Wayne Newton but most of it is a question and answer format with questions the audience submits asked by Newton's wife, Kathleen, which leads to historical video of Newton and friends over the years. The show starts with Newton singing three songs before doing a number where he does a guitar solo in the middle. After that, he introduces his wife, and we are treated to video of Newton with famous entertainers from years gone by like Dean Martin, Jack Benny, and Sammy David Jr. to name a few. Much of the information I knew because we're of the same generation. Some of it was new. True, Newton doesn't have the voice he had years ago. We all lose some of our abilities as we age. I was pleased by the show and it's evident why Newton became known as Mr. Las Vegas. Hats off to him for all his work over the years entertaining civilains and troops alike and many thanks for all the USO tours and work. My husband and I were trying to decide what show we should see on our last night in Las Vegas. We finally decided that seeing "Mr. Las Vegas" himself would be the best thing for us to do. If you want to see a sincere and personable entertainer then come see Wayne Newton. It was such a good show!!!! Honestly, it seemed like it was a bit difficult for him to hold a note anymore but the band carried him and it didn't matter. He was genuinely having fun performing and seemed so thankful that we would come to see him. He came around to almost every person in the room and shook our hands, which I loved! He even took a couple of selfies with people. He and I just smiled at each other for what seemed like quite awhile before he was announced and came out to the crowd and onto the stage. He was standing right by the set of steps that I was sitting by, literally a foot from me. Yeah, I was star struck lol Hearing his old stories of how he got started in Las Vegas and all of the famous people he worked with was super cool. You really won't be disappointed if you come see him. Be are not to get stuck behind a big mirrored post like i did though lol I could still see the stage but it was easier to watch myself during the show. Lol That's not Wayne's fault though but maybe something the venue could take into consideration. I would totally go back and see him again and can't recommend this show enough. Go see him before he isn't performing anymore, especially if you have a true love for Las Vegas and love hearing about the casinos that aren't there anymore and the performers that used to perform there. I may have had a tear or two during the show. Oh, there was also a mixture of ages there. Who knew I would love Wayne Newton so much?!?! I guess I wasn't sure what to expect. He is after all, Mr. Las Vegas! I went in expected old Las Vegas hits in a gawdy kind of way. Mr. Newton offered the opposite. He was thoughtful and charming, and greeted us warmly as we were upgraded to the first row. He smiled, winked and made eye contact with us many times during the show. There was music and story telling. He reminisced about the good old days. His personal stories were touching and lent the personal side to a Las Vegas icon. He even thanked an employee in the audience with sincere appreciation. After the show he stopped by to say goodbye. I couldn't help myself - I had to tell him he smelled so good. This was a great show. Wayne Newton is a true class act. I'm so glad after I the years I lived in Vegas that I finally went to see his show. He is truly one of the last classic icons of his time. I really enjoyed getting to know so much more about his career. He is a great entertainer. I highly recommend this show as a must see. read more

What a fantastic show. Wayne is very personable and still an extremely great musician. He still sings great and plays many instruments on the show , i.e., the banjo, the guitar and the slide guitar. He tells all his stories about how he got started and who he meet along his life journey and when he got his most outstanding breaks. This is a show for you if you want to relive your past, remember and sing good songs and just have a great time. He actually came off stage and took my hand and sang to me. We were a bit younger than the rest of the audience. We weren't really familiar with a lot of Wayne Newton's music, but we thought we'd go and see what his show was all about. I'm glad we did. He does a great job entertaining you. I liked how he mixed music with his own personal stories of his career, personal life and good memories of music collaborations. It was a nice change from a lot of shows out here. The theater is small and the drinks are the typical cost of those on the strip. I think any seat you get, will be a good one since it's so small. We got lucky and they say us up close to the stage by the aisle so we got to actually meet him and shake his hand. Even though I didn't really know any of his music, I still enjoyed myself and would recommend the show. And if you are familiar with Wayne and his music, then it's a definite must see. read more

Very intimate venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Wasn't sure what to expect. Not much singing. Maybe 3 partial songs were sung. Mostly a Q & A session with Mr. Las Vegas. Lots of video clips and photographs throughout his career. It was enjoyable. My 15 year old had no idea who he was and she enjoyed the show. He is very charismatic! Very enjoyable. read more

Apparently Wayne Newton is not only an American icon, but he's a bad a** as well. Probably one of the most intimate shows that Vegas has to offer. Wayne and his (gorgeous) wife are so close to the audience, it's like sitting in their living room listening to Wayne tell stories. It's crazy! While younger people may not be familiar with Wayne's music, they might be familiar with him from Vegas Vacation, an American classic. I'm the fourth generation in my family to go see Wayne's show (apparently my great grandma was really into him) so although I was one of the youngest people at the show, his show is enjoyable for all ages. Wayne talks about how involved he is in the military and the crowd gets very worked up about his service. Random audience members were asking questions (aka, talking about their prior experiences with Wayne) and you could tell he touched a lot of people who have served overseas. The best part of the Wayne's stories is when he tells about how he confronted Johnny Carson about being a punk, to his face, at Carson's office. Say what you will about Wayne Newton being cheesy or whatnot, but he can throw down. Definitely a must see show, simply because it's Wayne Newton and you're in Vegas! read more

We saw this show on June 30th. It was at Windows at Bally's Hotel and Casino. The total length of the show was about an hour and 45 minutes, longer than normal shows. The theater was almost full which was great considering the venue holds around 200 people. Wayne sings for about 30-40 minutes and about an hour for answering questions and storytelling about his life from age four up to now. He is not from my music genre and I don't know much about him. Throughout the show he seem to be such a genuine, laid back celebrity/person. He utilizes pictures and old video clips and it was very interactive. He got very emotional about Elvis Presley. I wished he sang more and cut down the time a little bit but it was a good show and I enjoyed his songs. read more
