After evaluating my Ford I was told that there was a Technical Bulletin that came out from Ford several years ago. I am impressed that they did the research to evaluate my car. They told me I did NOT NEED A TRANSMISSION. I only needed an update on the vehicle computer. Here's the numbers. Ford wanted $3500 for a rebuilt transmission. A new transmission was $6000. Final cost at Scotty's $150 to evaluate $250 to upload the new software Total $400.00 Can't say enough good things about this place. Talk about trusting a Mecanic!!! He inspected my tired, explained my options and what was safe to do. The customer service and care was outstanding. Steve did not have the specialty tires my car needed in stock, but he called every contact he had to help me out. Even when another local shop had the tires and told him they wouldn't have time to help me, he arranged things such that I could purchase the tire alone and he would put it on, personally losing the sale just to help me out. I have never had such a positive experience during such a time of panic. 100% would recommend for any future service.
