After evaluating my Ford I was told that there was a Technical Bulletin that came out from Ford several years ago. I am impressed that they did the research to evaluate my car. They told me I did NOT NEED A TRANSMISSION. I only needed an update on the vehicle computer. Here's the numbers. Ford wanted $3500 for a rebuilt transmission. A new transmission was $6000. They became very defensive and I left. I called the BMW dealer in Woodbury, Orange County and they said the dealer charges $130 for an oil change on that car. So here's the deal: You can charge a premium for convenience, but this is a total RIPOFF and it's really a shame because I live nearby and it would be convenient to use your business for all my cars. Bauer was extremely rude, demeaning, and angry bc he was called out for these multiple attempts at padding my invoice. He got away with the bulk of it by refusing to allow me to pay what was agreed and wouldn't return my vehicle though i'd driven 4 hours to pick it up on Christmas Eve. YOU are much better off taking your equipment to the dealer for repairs.
