If you don't believe me when you walk in look UP half the lights are out and there filled with dead bugs. The return for the HVAC is 50 percent on the reverse side has collapsed and the other side is caked with lint. There are 2 clocks on the walls and both need a battery charge ( both not working). Emergency lighting with battery backup do not work.That is a safety issue, and while we're at when was the last time they had a fire inspection on the system? I brought in two items for minor repairs last week.Having been a repeat customer for repairs, I was surprised to be asked for payment upfront as I had always paid upon pickup in the past. When I mentioned not having my wallet on hand but offered to return quickly with my card, the clerk told me that work would only begin once full payment was made. I returned promptly from my car to pay, still a bit taken aback by the change in policy and tone. After running my card, the clerk became visibly uncomfortable and, in an attempt to explain, said, "It's not you, it's not you. Other black people leave their repairs and don't come back. That's why we need pay ahead of service; it's not you." Her comments were shocking and deeply troubling. To imply that requiring upfront payment was justified because "other black people" didn't return and to frame this in conversation with me, a double minority (woman and person of color), was offensive and unacceptable. What made this experience even more disappointing was not just the racist undertone, but the idea that somehow acknowledging "it's not you" would make the comment acceptable. I expected professional service and respect, not prejudiced assumptions or insensitive explanations. It's disheartening to realize that such biases exist, even among individuals who themselves are part of marginalized groups. I share this review in hopes of raising awareness and encouraging accountability. No one should experience such treatment at any business and I sincerely hope changes will be made so that others are welcomed and respected without prejudice.

For the first time on Tuesday I went to Daisy Laundromat and will never go again. I tried two…read moredifferent machines and in both cases the machine took my money to a certain point then just ate my coins. In using the coin release button some money was returned but not all of it. As a result I lost $5.00. I tried calling their number to talk to someone and was greeted with "the voice mail box is full". The owner of this establishment should ensure that customers do not get ripped off and keep their equipment working properly. Sadly, I will never return.

I feel badly for you, missing out on this fun. I had hoped for a place I could drop and pick up. The first place I went to was inexplicably closed that day. Sigh. Consult handy dandy Yelp app to see what's close by. Daisy! Off I go. Wash and fold drop off service are advertised as available. I learned at arrival though that a text is required to schedule drop off. This notice was taped to the drop off counter. Shucks. I think the Universe is telling me to wash my own comforter. Fine. The change machine worked perfectly, happily dropping $20 of quarters. It's a lot of quarters. I purchased a little box of powdered detergent for $1, then headed over to one of the 3X industrial machines to load my comforter. Inserted twenty four quarters, poured the detergent in the top bin and set it in motion. The laundromat is clean and well lit. All machines were working except the one oversized dryer. There is a drink vending machine, an ATM, a claw arcade machine and a flat screen TV that was turned off. "Adult Contemporary/Classic Rock" music was playing. I decided to head next door to Newtown Square Pizzeria for lunch while my comforter was washing. In theory, they have a handicapped accessible restroom and free WiFi(which they advertise). In actuality the bathroom has a numerical code lock and there's no password posted for the WiFi. I suspect both passcodes are available when there is an attendant. There are also a significant number of security cameras and, oddly, a ring doorbell on the wall by the drop off area. Once my wash cycle was complete I hauled my damp comforter out to my car. Took it home and dried it draped across folding chairs in the basement. There's a nice sized parking lot behind the strip of buildings that house the laundromat, pizza place and a couple other businesses. The laundromat has a rear entrance which is handy. I'd go again, bringing my own detergent and being prepared to dry at home using the chair method.

When I dropped it off they happily took it, along with a few other high end items. A few days later I received a phone call from the store, they let me know that they wanted to send the out to their leather specialist in New Jersey. Due to the quality of the leather and the work it needed. I truly appreciated the communication and honesty. I think this just goes to show how trust worthy they are and how much they care about their work. My other items came back just as I asked for. The jacket came back in almost new condition and the color couldn't have been more white.
