For the first time on Tuesday I went to Daisy Laundromat and will never go again. I tried two different machines and in both cases the machine took my money to a certain point then just ate my coins. In using the coin release button some money was returned but not all of it. As a result I lost $5.00. I tried calling their number to talk to someone and was greeted with "the voice mail box is full". The owner of this establishment should ensure that customers do not get ripped off and keep their equipment working properly. Sadly, I will never return. read more

Daisy Laundromat - There was $.50 needed to be added to the machine to get the wash started and it simply ate my money. - Laundromat Near Me - Newtown Square, Pennsylvania

It's my first day of winter vacation! What am I doing? Why, hauling the king sized comforter to the laundromat, of course. What's that? You're going skiing in Switzerland instead? I feel badly for you, missing out on this fun. I had hoped for a place I could drop and pick up. The first place I went to was inexplicably closed that day. Sigh. Consult handy dandy Yelp app to see what's close by. Daisy! Off I go. Wash and fold drop off service are advertised as available. I learned at arrival though that a text is required to schedule drop off. This notice was taped to the drop off counter. Shucks. I think the Universe is telling me to wash my own comforter. Fine. The change machine worked perfectly, happily dropping $20 of quarters. It's a lot of quarters. I purchased a little box of powdered detergent for $1, then headed over to one of the 3X industrial machines to load my comforter. Inserted twenty four quarters, poured the detergent in the top bin and set it in motion. The laundromat is clean and well lit. All machines were working except the one oversized dryer. There is a drink vending machine, an ATM, a claw arcade machine and a flat screen TV that was turned off. "Adult Contemporary/Classic Rock" music was playing. I decided to head next door to Newtown Square Pizzeria for lunch while my comforter was washing. In theory, they have a handicapped accessible restroom and free WiFi(which they advertise). In actuality the bathroom has a numerical code lock and there's no password posted for the WiFi. I suspect both passcodes are available when there is an attendant. There are also a significant number of security cameras and, oddly, a ring doorbell on the wall by the drop off area. Once my wash cycle was complete I hauled my damp comforter out to my car. Took it home and dried it draped across folding chairs in the basement. There's a nice sized parking lot behind the strip of buildings that house the laundromat, pizza place and a couple other businesses. The laundromat has a rear entrance which is handy. I'd go again, bringing my own detergent and being prepared to dry at home using the chair method. read more

MACHINES RIPPED ME OFF. Noone on the phone, nobody working there, no way to get a refund. NO signs on machines that don't work, so you get ripped off. 95 degrees in there with NO A/C. The phone system to call someone is ridiculous. AVOID THIS PLACE. read more

RIPPED ME OFF. Washing machine took my money and detergent, and didn't work. NOONE to call and discuss the issue, they have an absolutely absurd phone system that's impossible to use, it's easier to call the White House. Who the hell do these people think they are? RIPOFF. I also got ripped off by a dryer, so I took my wet clothes and went somewhere else. I'll never return and will harass them daily until I get a refund. SCUMBAG RIPOFF ARTISTS. AVOID. read more

81 degrees here at 9:15p on Friday, August 12th. No one was here which is great except that you wish the attendant or owner provided the code for the restroom (last 4 of their phone number) and code for the Wi-Fi. Quarters only which is very old fashioned and one washer out of order. The heat is what dropped them down a star. Try not being cheap and keep it as a reasonable 68-72 degrees! read more

Daisy Laundromat - 81 degrees in this place! - Laundromat Near Me - Newtown Square, Pennsylvania

This place is Horrible. Never anyone there working and have an issue about 30% of the time with one of the machines not working and no sign to tell you. Put your clothes in big machine add detergent to find machine is not working. To top it off 87 degrees and not one drink available in the vending machine. Is there anyone who really owns this??? read more

I found this laundromat review on Yelp. This a necessity for renters who are without large capacity washers and dryers. The place is in a smaller strip mall on West Chester Pike with parking in front and in the back. Staff onsite was super friendly and extremely helpful. The laundromat is clean and well-maintained. They do offer wash and fold service. It is coin-operated with an ATM onsite and a change machine. Also, a machine with laundry bags and one with laundry products. There are small and large capacity front-loading machines and dryers. A restroom onsite. It does operate 24 hours and there is a direct way to communicate with owner of any issues. I forgot to mention wifi. read more

I needed somewhere to clean my king comforter since it does not fit in my washer. I normally would do it myself at a laundromat but due to Pandemic, I didn't feel comfortable sitting in one for a few hours. I called Daisy Laundromat and the young lady who answered the phone was so nice and told me to bring right over and she would take care of it. The place was spotless and I felt very at ease. I got a call back next morning telling me my comforter was done. Highly recommend, wonderful staff and clean machines. read more

Dropped off my laundry to be laundered and told them that I would be back to pick them up several days later, at a time when they would have someone working. When I arrived, no one was there! After reaching someone, I was told 45 minute wait! Finally got my laundry, the clothes were more than damp! This was so outrageous, I'd never recommend this place or return to this Laundromat. read more

Very clean and happy place. Owners and people working here are so very nice. They helped me out when I walked in with 100+ lbs of laundry. Utilized there wash and fold service which was affordable and incredibly fast. They even separated everything. Such a pleasure. read more

I stopped in to wash a comforter that wouldn't fit in my own washer. I haven't been in a laundromat in years. This place was super clean, had WiFi, a bathroom, vending, ATM, coin machine and power strips at the seating. I've stayed in hotels that had less amenities. The icing on the cake was the girl who worked there. She could not be a nicer or more helpful human. read more

This place is top shelf! Owner Anita, literally saved my day after a flood in our home, she was an absolute angel the day I brought in all of our wet items and even more so when we picked them up ... everything folded to perfection. I cannot say enough positive about this facility and the professionalism of both owners. read more

The premises are incredibly clean and well-lit. The equipment is clean and is in excellent condition. The nicest part, though, was the interaction with the owner. He was so very friendly and helpful, and he helped us carry baskets out to the car. We will definitely return. read more
