We chose the 1 PM time slot, which is a 2-hour scheduled ride that includes two stops--one in Fillmore and another at Prancer's Farm on the way back. The ride was full with 16 guests, and the guides did a great job leading from both the front and back, making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. Check-in was quick and easy, and they even provided complimentary popcorn and water, which was a nice touch before getting started. The ride itself was an absolute blast and definitely a solid workout--very similar to cycling, covering just under 10 miles round trip. The carts are super easy to use, with clear instructions from the guides. Each cart comes equipped with a front storage rack, cup holders, a hand brake (which you'll appreciate on the downhill!), an odometer, and a switch to toggle between manual and automatic. The assist mode really comes in handy on the uphill stretch heading toward Fillmore, while the ride back is a smooth and enjoyable downhill cruise. The weather couldn't have been better, and the scenery was incredible. Along the way, we took in beautiful views of avocado and lemon groves, cactus fields, and plenty of wildlife--squirrels, lizards, and even bees hard at work pollinating. It made the whole experience feel peaceful and immersive. On the way back, we stopped for about 20-30 minutes at Prancer's Farm, where we got to see a variety of animals including goats, pigs, bulls, and sheep. There's also a petting zoo option if you purchase tickets. The farm had a fun seasonal setup for Easter, along with a shop where you can buy fresh fruit, beef jerky, and other local goods. Overall, this was one of the most fun and unique experiences we've had. If you enjoy the outdoors, want a bit of adventure, and don't mind getting in a great workout, I highly recommend giving Sunburst Railbikes a try. Hopefully my photos--and this review--help you decide to book your own ride!

Riding over a moving rattlesnake in between the tracks was a startling surprise! I lived to tell the tale there! The first stop at the end of the route before turning the railbikes back was ok, but I feel there could be some kinda stalls or local art on display during the 15 minute break. Surely some vendors could set up something? The next stop going back was at Prancers Farm which was ok for some local produce. Having said that, a fruit smoothie or ice cream made locally would be a nice touch? I went to go look at the animals but didn't wanna pay $7 each person to do so. After this 30 min stop we went back to the depot. I experienced this adventure in early spring on a day which was maybe high 70s. I'm not so sure I would enjoy this in Summer.

Reflecting on the trip I truly can not pick a favorite day because they were all so unique and amazing. This was the perfect way for me and my friends to explore Europe for the first time. Buzz has been giving tours through Europe for 25+ years and it is evident in all the information he knows and how he can navigate 250+ students through Europe. It is so fun to walk through cities from Switzerland to Italy, where locals will stick their heads out of windows and will welcome the Buzz group to their towns because of the close connections Buzz has formed all throughout. I could not recommend this trip more. This trip prepares young adults to be independent and get ready for college! You make so many friends along the way. The best is now having new friends that I will be going to college with!

Contacted Cat to set up a private wine tour for my girlfriends birthday and the ease of the process…read morewas amazing. We talked through email and she kept me updated and informed consistently. The price is very affordable for what you get. A visit to 3 local wineries with the flight sampling package of that winery and a driver/guide through the city and local wine scene. Our guide Riley did an amazing job. He met us promptly and the pick up car was nice and comfortable. Riley as he drove us to our wineries commented on local culture and history and made everything feel personable and comfortable. We went to our first winery and you get to choose you're lunch destination before hand so after our first sampling Riley dropped us off and picked us up after for that which is awesome. We visited 2 more wineries after and Riley did a get job bringing us in and getting us settled taking pictures for us and then still giving us the private time to interact with each other. This is a great service for these type of occasions. It was easy to set up and took a load of stress from planning and driving off me. Being able to relax and be driven, cruise the mountains and beaches, sip some good wine, have lunch and enjoy a sunny California day. Worth every penny. Super satisfied.

We used her once before and it was suitable, but never again. She was borderline flaky in correspondence from the very beginning but assured me she was on top of things and everything will be delivered as expected in retrospect I wished I had trusted my gut because working with her was not only a disaster but an extremely unpleasant experience. -I had asked her for a quote daily, for four days, to which she said she will get to me but "not to worry it will be very reasonable". She finally provided us one four days before our event and I nearly fell over when I saw she was charging us $200/person....mind you this did not include any kind of food, this was just for wine and location. You would think at this cost, someone would be holding the wine glass to your lips. -When I asked her for an itemized bill as to how she got to this number she literally said that providing me with an itemized bill was "not worth her time" because she is so busy doing weddings. -Because she had given us the quote and contract so close to the date i couldn't change the locations and and was able to get her to go down to $180/person. -I got to the location 45 min beforehand and she had yet to arrive and nothing was yet setup. I actually had to roll up my sleeves and move tables to make sure that the venue was setup by the time guests started to arrive. -She had promised us a private event and alerted me upon arrival (15min prior to the start of the event) that she couldn't secure the private location as promised. -When I asked her how long she's known we wouldn't get the private event we were promised she said she was just alerted to it within the hour, which I found hard to believe, and a couple of her own staff pulled me aside later to confirm that she was in fact not telling me the truth about that. -She had guaranteed me several times that our event would be first class all the way (after all we were paying $180/person), and she showed up with rolling coolers that didn't even contain all the non-alcoholic beverages we had ordered. After it was clear she had not delivered on what was initially agreed on I told her we need to renegotiate her already bloated rate to which she became unhinged and even went as far as to threaten legal action against me (to which I laughed and of course nothing has come out of it). In short working with her was nothing short of a nightmare. And really the worst of it was how extremely unprofessional I found her to be. We've since hired other vendors in the area for events and I recommend you consider any of them as I wished I had done in the first place. I surprised my boyfriend with a date here, and we both left completely obsessed. We learned more about ostriches than we ever imagined possible, got unbelievably close to them, and even had them nibble on us -- which was equal parts hilarious and unforgettable. Every second of the tour was incredible. Now, to keep it real: this is a small farm. It's mostly ostriches, some desert, some fencing, and at first glance you might think, "okay... giant birds in the dirt." But that's kind of the magic of it. The beauty of this place sneaks up on you the same way a really good book does -- at first it's just paper and words, and then suddenly you're emotionally attached and questioning your entire existence over an ostrich egg. Lou absolutely made the experience. He has such an amazing life story, so much wisdom, and a genuine passion that shines through in everything he talks about. But honestly, the real tour isn't just about the birds -- it's about the way Lou sees the world. One minute he's explaining the mechanics of ostriches like some kind of desert bird engineer, the next he's pointing out California quails you never would've noticed on your own, talking about nature with the kind of excitement that makes you start paying attention too. He'll happily talk with you for as long as you're willing to engage, and you leave realizing there's so much life and beauty packed into what initially looked like "just some land." Also, this man talks about his wife with such genuine love and admiration that it honestly restored my faith in humanity a little bit. It was so sweet hearing someone speak so splendidly about their partner after clearly building a whole life together out there. The entire place feels full of heart because of it. And the honey!! Don't skip the honey. Absolutely delicious. We also bought an ostrich egg for $60 and honestly... worth every penny. We painted the shell afterward and made the world's biggest deviled egg, which is still one of the funniest things we've ever done. Such a unique souvenir and experience. There's also so much more here than just the tour -- Lou's son teaches archery lessons, there's a small campsite, and despite losing their cherry trees from the fire and flood, the farm still has this incredible spirit and resilience that makes you admire them even more. If you go, just keep an open mind. It might not look like much from the get-go, but if you really listen -- really let Lou show you what this place means to him -- you realize you're somewhere genuinely special. It's funny, heartfelt, fascinating, and weirdly grounding all at once. Must see. So glad we went. Stop by -- you won't regret it.

The two stars go to Big Mike holding down this bizness. The cons: The night before Purchased dual package tour: La Hood Life and Hollywood tour for $125 a person. A Text message sent at 2am said to meet up at 930am, which we didn't see until parking in the garage at 930am. We get there at 937am to check in, our tour gets verified with the owner (bald slick brother in a all white T parked a glossy badass Benz). At 10am the rest of our tour group arrives. They wait on the opposite end of us because our tours are separate. At 1010am we get verified the 3rd time that we have both tours booked, then offered a seat in the open air tour truck. At 1035 we get verified again & told to get off the open air tour truck and get a seat on the white van with everyone else, that our Hollywood tour would be after we get back from the Hood tour, Mind you the tour I booked was described as 3.5 hrs, quick & to the point. Instead We end up on a nearly 4 hours long tour of the hood. We got back to the pickup location at 230pm. 5 hrs in total wasted mostly by waiting around, watching a verbal argument btwn Mooney, the owner & Big Mike but he seemed to stay out of it. The complaining and arguing and cussing was authentic, cuz Mooney's frustration was real & felt. Yet I think his hissy fit led to all the chaos & waiting around we had to do. We're out $80 because that how much more we paid than everyone else on our tour. I left feeling "Debow-ed" with my tourist chain getting yanked off! Not to mention, the Van sound system went out by blasting uncontrollable screeching noise every time the Van was started back up. This screeching assault to our hearing happened about 9 times. Painful!!! Plus we were stuck in the heat with no AC. Haha it was so ridiculously awful, that looking back I can only laugh. Luckily we broke down close to a small store & bought cold drinks & snacks while the wiring was figured out to the sound system. The rest of the tour the microphone didn't work so the people in the back couldn't hear Big Mike's awesome story telling, and their nonstop complaining behind me was distracting AF. Lastly what we were overcharged $80, should be given to Big Mike and lil sum for Mooney cuz Mooney was mad as hell and I could tell by his high level cussing he can tell a story too.
