I went on Buzz's tour in 2008 and had an AMAZING time! I went with 5 of my girlfriends as graduation presents from our parents. Two years prior to my departure, my older brother had gone on Buzz's tour solo and HIGHLY recommended the trip to my friends and I. The BEST things about Buzz's Tour are (in no particular order) 1. Travel by TRAIN!!! As a young adult, traveling by train is a GREAT experience and the most EFFICIENT. "Backpacking" with a tour guide =) 2. All Lodging is in PRIME location!!! Lodging was clean and as a female always felt safe when walking around during the day or at night. 3. FREEDOM and FLEXIBILITY of the tour. Buzz allows you to explore what you wish even if that means you would like to leave the group for the day to do your own thing. I never felt obligated to see/do/eat anything I didn't want to. I also NEVER felt rushed! 4. EXPLORE the cities by WALKING!!! By walking through the city streets you will see and experience 10x more than you would if you were on a city bus tour! and your pictures will be way better! Last thing you want is to be told "That is Notre Dame Cathedral" from a moving bus and realize you aren't even going inside! BRING comfy shoes! 5. BEST VALUE for your money!!!! 21 days, 9 countries, and 20 plus cities!!!! I had the BEST time of my life on this trip. The tour was organized great, priced reasonably, and if you go with an open mind and an easy going attitude (as you should when traveling) you too will have the BEST TIME of your LIFE!. If you decide on Buzz's Tour READ ALL the materials he hands out at the meeting-VERY HELPFUL tips to be a light packer and smart traveler. I will continue to HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUZZ'S TOUR! =) GO BUZZ!

TRULY TRULY recommend this trip to anyone considering!!! IF I COULD RATE 10 STARS I WOULD

Best trip of my life! I think about it often. It is fun, it is exciting, but most importantly it is a valuable, unique, experience that is truly life changing. The Buzz trip has opened my eyes to a much larger world full of interesting and different cultures and ways of life. I am forever grateful for my time with Buzz Adventure Tours; it is an adventure like no other. In addition, Buzz and Janice are awesome! They create a fun, friendly, and caring environment. This trip is so much more than just a tour.

I traveled with Buzz's 2015 tour #2 tour we went to 9 country's 21 cities and I can honestly say I had the time of my life. * From the beginning the first phone call to David "Buzz's" it was nice to speak to some one with such great passion for travel and not just a sales man he took the time to answer all my questions and was very patient and full of information. * He provides you with a pre trip meeting and all the tools you need to prepare for your trip he gives you a packing check list, list of maps, challenge list for every place you will visit he pretty much gives you all the tools you need to make sure you have the time of your life the rest is up to the traveler. * when I booked he had two different packages to choose from with different prices check his website or call him for more info I went with my girlfriend and we chose the more expensive package and boy was it worth the extra money. * You travel like the local people not like a full on tourist you will take the train , subway , bus and even cable cars just remember to mind the gap and mind your bags --- you will understand these terms later if you book this trip. * He Has professional guides helping him and he even had a photographer on our trip Devin , Fannie and Cassie were just awesome and David the main Guide was just the best with him leading the group you cant possibly be in better hands. he doesn't just guide you from place to place he gives you the tools to venture off on your own and survive. * Your lodging is in the center of the action if you stay in Paris you are in Paris not close to it for example during our trip the Hotel we staid at was literally 2 blocks away from the Eifel Tower and all of the Hotels were spectacular and in a great location's. * With this tour they provide you with the opportunity to take part in all types of guided activities you can choose to participate in them or venture off and explore on your own this in my opinion is great because in a lot of tours you pretty much get stuck in a Bus doing things you may not have any interest in. But here with Buzz's you have plenty of daytime activities to do and Night life activities to choose from and most importantly there is always someone available to answer any questions or guide you / point you in the right direction. Being that this was my first trip to Europe I am glad I went with Buzz's not only do you get the best value for your Money but David "Buzz's" number one goal is for you to have the time of your life. Although during our trip most of our fellow travelers were New High school grads, that did not stop us from having the time of our life i am glad i got to go with such a young group i definitely preferred that to going with the geriatric group and then again im not that old i just turned 30 and i could still keep up. this is a fast paced trip, geared towards energetic fun people so if you are up to the challenge go with Buzz's!!!!!!!!!! if you are not go with the geriatric group and travel behind a huge glass inside a bus and miss out on the time of your life. Happy travels every one :)

Best trip of my life! Truly an unforgettable experience. The leaders were fantastic and gave us every opportunity to go see amazing sites and really knew how to lead the group. We had the freedom to do what we liked and we could go to as many or as few historical sites as we liked. Buzz and the leaders were always available to give me a personal tour of the cities and sites if I requested. 10000% endorsement. I left my camera at a hotel in Cannes, France and Buzz had it personally shipped to me.

My son got a space on the trip three weeks before departure when a cancellation occurred and a spot opened up. He met his roomate upon arrival in London. A great guy! It ended up being a life-changing trip that makes me feel confident in sending him off to college. Not only did he get to travel the world with kids his age, gaining inspiration for life, but he learned how to get from place to place, use travel resources previously unknown and all thanks to the genius trip planned by BUZZ and assisted by Janice Bussing. I have never heard my son so grateful for an experience in his life. I am thrilled with this adventure and the experience they have provided. It was a series of #bestdaysever and I cannot believe how amazing it was.

This is probably the best thing to enter my life. Buzz tours has always been said to have been filled with the best possible experiences for everyone of their graduates on previous trips, and they were so right. this trip has introduced me to friends and the best memories of my entire life. These memories are ones i will remember for a lifetime. Buzz and Janice are the best people providing all of us teenagers with the most memorable and amazing experiences that are never to forget. I never want this trip to end. Thank you Buzz Tours!

I went on Buzzs tour more than 6 months ago and I still talk about it on a day to day basis. I couldnt imagine myself on a more perfect tour that was organized so professionally. The tour guide Buzz was such a sweet man that was very passionate for his job. Of course he is human and has his moments (YOU try dealing with 70 wild raging 18 year olds in Europe) but he is a great man who takes you to places you want to see. I will hold the memories of this trip forever and I advise everyone who can to go on this tour. The counties were perfect, the cities were also all that I wanted to see. I seriously had the time of my life on this trip and really want everyone i know to go!!! LOVE YOU BUZZ EUROPEAN TOURS 2011!!!!!!!!!!!! PS I am furious at the reviews i read below. SO FALSE so untrue. I'm so sorry that those people had any sort of bad experience that they wrote that. I didn't see any of that I promise you. I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU GO WITH AS MANY FRIENDS AS POSSIBLE you will have the time of your life.

We talked through email and she kept me updated and informed consistently. The price is very affordable for what you get. A visit to 3 local wineries with the flight sampling package of that winery and a driver/guide through the city and local wine scene. Our guide Riley did an amazing job. He met us promptly and the pick up car was nice and comfortable. Riley as he drove us to our wineries commented on local culture and history and made everything feel personable and comfortable. We went to our first winery and you get to choose you're lunch destination before hand so after our first sampling Riley dropped us off and picked us up after for that which is awesome. We visited 2 more wineries after and Riley did a get job bringing us in and getting us settled taking pictures for us and then still giving us the private time to interact with each other. This is a great service for these type of occasions. It was easy to set up and took a load of stress from planning and driving off me. Being able to relax and be driven, cruise the mountains and beaches, sip some good wine, have lunch and enjoy a sunny California day. Worth every penny. Super satisfied.

We used her once before and it was suitable, but never again. She was borderline flaky in correspondence from the very beginning but assured me she was on top of things and everything will be delivered as expected in retrospect I wished I had trusted my gut because working with her was not only a disaster but an extremely unpleasant experience. -I had asked her for a quote daily, for four days, to which she said she will get to me but "not to worry it will be very reasonable". She finally provided us one four days before our event and I nearly fell over when I saw she was charging us $200/person....mind you this did not include any kind of food, this was just for wine and location. You would think at this cost, someone would be holding the wine glass to your lips. -When I asked her for an itemized bill as to how she got to this number she literally said that providing me with an itemized bill was "not worth her time" because she is so busy doing weddings. -Because she had given us the quote and contract so close to the date i couldn't change the locations and and was able to get her to go down to $180/person. -I got to the location 45 min beforehand and she had yet to arrive and nothing was yet setup. I actually had to roll up my sleeves and move tables to make sure that the venue was setup by the time guests started to arrive. -She had promised us a private event and alerted me upon arrival (15min prior to the start of the event) that she couldn't secure the private location as promised. -When I asked her how long she's known we wouldn't get the private event we were promised she said she was just alerted to it within the hour, which I found hard to believe, and a couple of her own staff pulled me aside later to confirm that she was in fact not telling me the truth about that. -She had guaranteed me several times that our event would be first class all the way (after all we were paying $180/person), and she showed up with rolling coolers that didn't even contain all the non-alcoholic beverages we had ordered. After it was clear she had not delivered on what was initially agreed on I told her we need to renegotiate her already bloated rate to which she became unhinged and even went as far as to threaten legal action against me (to which I laughed and of course nothing has come out of it). In short working with her was nothing short of a nightmare. And really the worst of it was how extremely unprofessional I found her to be. We've since hired other vendors in the area for events and I recommend you consider any of them as I wished I had done in the first place. I surprised my boyfriend with a date here, and we both left completely obsessed. We learned more about ostriches than we ever imagined possible, got unbelievably close to them, and even had them nibble on us -- which was equal parts hilarious and unforgettable. Every second of the tour was incredible. Now, to keep it real: this is a small farm. It's mostly ostriches, some desert, some fencing, and at first glance you might think, "okay... giant birds in the dirt." But that's kind of the magic of it. The beauty of this place sneaks up on you the same way a really good book does -- at first it's just paper and words, and then suddenly you're emotionally attached and questioning your entire existence over an ostrich egg. Lou absolutely made the experience. He has such an amazing life story, so much wisdom, and a genuine passion that shines through in everything he talks about. But honestly, the real tour isn't just about the birds -- it's about the way Lou sees the world. One minute he's explaining the mechanics of ostriches like some kind of desert bird engineer, the next he's pointing out California quails you never would've noticed on your own, talking about nature with the kind of excitement that makes you start paying attention too. He'll happily talk with you for as long as you're willing to engage, and you leave realizing there's so much life and beauty packed into what initially looked like "just some land." Also, this man talks about his wife with such genuine love and admiration that it honestly restored my faith in humanity a little bit. It was so sweet hearing someone speak so splendidly about their partner after clearly building a whole life together out there. The entire place feels full of heart because of it. And the honey!! Don't skip the honey. Absolutely delicious. We also bought an ostrich egg for $60 and honestly... worth every penny. We painted the shell afterward and made the world's biggest deviled egg, which is still one of the funniest things we've ever done. Such a unique souvenir and experience. There's also so much more here than just the tour -- Lou's son teaches archery lessons, there's a small campsite, and despite losing their cherry trees from the fire and flood, the farm still has this incredible spirit and resilience that makes you admire them even more. If you go, just keep an open mind. It might not look like much from the get-go, but if you really listen -- really let Lou show you what this place means to him -- you realize you're somewhere genuinely special. It's funny, heartfelt, fascinating, and weirdly grounding all at once. Must see. So glad we went. Stop by -- you won't regret it.
