I've been going here for about a yr now and there's no other place i'd rather go to but her. I don't look forward to the waxing part but going to her makes it less dreadful. She's a wonderful lady and we always have great conversations and makes you feel comfortable (which makes everything less painful). The place is clean, and the whole process is done in a clean manner (no double dipping or leaves you all sticky). I go to on a monthly basis (doing it regularly makes it almost pain-free and the hair doesn't grow as thick). It's so easy to make an appointment with her, she's just a text away. She ALWAYS replies, but keep in mind that she's with clients at times so she may not reply to right that very second. This is the only place that I want to go to regularly. Marilyn is a pleasure to talk to and makes the process as painless as possible. She's knowledgeable about prepping skin for waxing. She gave me some samples and tips for preventing ingrown hairs and keeping my legs moisturized. This second time around I had way less hair. Her prices are very reasonable and she has specials too. I used Waxology for the first time yesterday. I'm a guy and I get a full body wax, so my sessions run 2 1/2 hours+. Because of an appointment time misunderstanding (my fault), our session was cut short by 20 minutes. Marilyn was still able to hustle and finish me. She did miss some spots, but I chalk that up to the rush. I've been waxed many times before, but this was the first time using strip wax. All-in-all, not really different in the end from hard wax. Price is what you'd expect from an independent shop. For me, a big plus is Marilyn is a very experienced professional adult and runs her shop as such. I found this waxing place a few months back. Many positives to mention: the first was the cleanliness. Normally waxing places gross me out because it's not kept well and that is always a huge pet peeve of mine. The owner here has her place decorated nicely and also keeps it clean. The overall feel/decor/ambiance of the place is the best I've seen in any waxing facility. Secondly, she has chill music playing and there's always normally a nice, enjoyable and relaxed conversation while I'm getting waxed. The wax also seems good quality, she uses hard wax for underarms which is nice. Fourth, it's affordable, compared to other "high end" places. There are normally ongoing deals that she will honor if you follow them on Instagram. Finally, she gets back via text very quickly so it's easy to book and appointment, and she's been understanding when I've had to reschedule last minute, and also has fit me in on days where I've been it last minute. The only area I feel there could be some improvement is time it takes for the service; sometimes it takes awhile for a short appointment but that being said once when I was in a rush and let her know, she got it done fast so it was accommodated. Hence, my five star review versus four. Definitely recommend due to honest and kind owner, price and quality of facility. Sad I'm moving and will have to try and find a comparable place! read more

I was able to get an appointment right away, which I was skeptical about at first. But when I walked in I was extremely happy about how friendly everyone was. My waxologist talked me through the process which was a relief. I usually just get waxed and deal with the pain but after this experience the pain was the last thing on my mind.
