He came out to clean our solar panels and gutters and was incredibly efficient. I was stuck working and on calls the whole time, so I was not able to hover or play quality control inspector, but I did not need to. Everything was clean when he arrived since I had just finished cleaning the sidewalks and patio, and when he left, the place looked exactly the same. No mess, no debris, no signs that anyone had even been here except that everything was spotless. Luke also sent me pictures, which I really appreciated. It was honestly a relief to see that he cleaned out what had to be more than 20 years of gutter gunk. That is not a technical term, but it should be. We have had rain the last couple of days and the gutters are working great. Water is flowing like it finally remembered what its job was. Super happy with the service and would definitely recommend them.

It was no big deal and I agreed to the higher price, but the technicians came to do the work with the lower price. Again, no big deal, but still confusing because it's not clear what I'm paying and price should be clear (especially if you are pre-writing a check). I confirmed the time of my appointment on several occasions which made it confusing when my technicians arrived an hour later than they should have and I had to ask for an ETA on their arrival. I suggest rather than committing to an exact time, provide a range and flexibility. That way customers can decide if that range works for them. Being on time and providing status updates if you're going to be late is a professional curtesy especially for customers on tight timelines. The cleaning was done nicely, but I did later notice spots in corners that were missed (i.e., behind doors). The front porch area was cleaned, but then the technician blew leaves back on it. They do answer their phones unlike other competitors that you just cannot seem to get ahold of no matter what. However, their power washing is a lot higher price than other competitors. Unfortunately I don't have time to have them come back out and fix anything they might have missed. I'm strapped for time as is. I'd work on communication, attention to detail, and leaving the place clean. Also, consider putting before and after pictures in some sort of written professional document like a PDF you can leave with the customer same day with a receipt before you leave.

A couple of years ago I noticed the amount of energy we were supposed to be getting with our solar panels had severely decreased as our SMUD bill increased. Someone recommended getting the panels cleaned. I saw a sign for Sierra Maintenance leaving our neighborhood and decided to give them a call. After they cleaned the panels, I noticed a lower SMUD bill the next month and in the subsequent months and even to this day. They also send before and after pictures which show just how filthy the panels can get. They also cleaned our gutters this time which I didn't realize had a ton of gunk in them. Our home is two-story ~ 4k sq foot. We have about 12 panels and it was ~$200 to clean them plus another $360 to clean the gutters. Excellent company, which I will refer to others as well as use again next year.

Additionally, a portion of my gutters had detached from the roof causing water to spill out everywhere. The gutter section appeared broken and I believed it needed to be replaced. I triple bid the work, and the quote from Jonathan was on-par with the quotes from the other two licensed individuals I received bids from However, Jonathan was the only person who didn't try to upsell me on additional work or services. He is a very earnest person who clearly cares about his team and the quality of work they provide to clients. This integrity and professionalism extended to the gentlemen who came to do the cleaning and repairs. Samuel and Daniel arrived promptly at the scheduled time this morning (when does that EVER happen?), and were very polite and communicative about the process. As they began their work, they realized the detached section of gutters wouldn't need to be replaced, but could be reattached and properly secured again. I wouldn't have known that the work wasn't necessary, but they were honest and upfront and saved me literally half of what I had initially been quoted. Additionally, they reattached downspouts that were questionably secured, and did a spectacular job cleaning out the gutters and downspouts (see the before and after pictures). An important note for the women who might be home alone- Jonathan, Samuel, and Daniel are all incredibly respectful and professional, and are safe people to have working at the house.
