My eyebrows weren't full thick eyebrows so maybe my unclear directions led her the wrong way. Immediately after my appointment when I saw them I was devastated. I booked an appointment that day for micro blading as I couldn't have my eyebrows left how she had them. Additionally I got a Brazilian and it was the most painful and lengthy process I've ever had on a Brazilian. I have gotten them done for years before I stopped going and I have also done it myself and nothing compares to the pain here. Please don't let a wax from here deter you- there are places out there and it really doesn't hurt that bad or take that long. I do not recommend for a Brazilian and if you get threading- make sure what you want is clearly stated every time. I will not be returning.

When I entered the salon, I was greeted warmly and then saw one of my dads big paintings on the wall behind the reception desk! What a wonderful surprise! Sally gave me excellent advise on how to manage some issues I have with my scalp and hair, gave me a great cut and really listened to what I wanted done. She even stuck a few samples in my bag to try out later! The salon is very clean, beautifully decorated and the whole staff was really friendly. If I lived there, I'd definitely be a regular! Thank you again to Sally for making a very difficult time a little less stressful for me, knowing that at least I didn't need to worry about my hair.

I waited it out for about 90 minutes before returning to see what could be done about the situation. Multiple staff members assured me "that's not supposed to happen" but offered me no solution or reason why this happened. No one seemed remotely bothered that this had happened. I was not even offered my money back. They kept asking if I was on Accutane, which I am not. Even if I had been, this was not asked at all prior to the wax. I am incredibly disappointed and sad, as I have wedding photos in a week. I would not recommend to anyone.

On a recommendation from my favorite hair salon, I decided to try out Lisa to pamper myself with a facial for my birthday and after going once, I've found my newest monthly expense :-) For only $50 for a regular facial with massage she pampered me with all organic materials (HUGE plus), and because its just her, I was the only client there, so it truly was a personalized quiet and relaxing experience. She spent the time to go through a consult and understand what I currently do to take care of my skin, and talk to me about what I could do better. As a result I got a more personalized facial and I can't wait to go back. I've tried the Pumpkin Masque (smells amazing and is a natural enzyme peel) and Dead Sea Mud Mask (which I think I like best!) She currently only accepts Cash or Check so be sure to hit the bank or ATM first. I'm totally going to change my expenses around so I can get this special treatment once a month!
