Iced Cold Brew - Creme Brulee
Theresa M.

I really enjoyed my Crème brûlée iced coffee AND how the gentleman asked me if it was enough ice - and then very graciously said sure I can have a cup of ice to go with it - now there's a man who knows iced coffee! The cashier was also very friendly and mannerly - two thumbs up to this WaWa for sure!

Wawa,I don't have anything negative to say about this establishment. My first choice in coffee other than making my own at home of course, they have a nice variety of coffee options to chose from ( I prefer dark coffee except around the holidays then I chose those flavors). They have made to order breakfast, lunch and dinner options that you order through the kiosk which are conveniently located when you first walk in. They also have fresh donuts and fruits as well.

Buffalo Hot Hoagies - Chicken Cheesesteak - Custom / with buffalo sauce and chipotle sauce
Brian W.

The store associates were kind and very attentive and asked all the right questions. This Wawa is one of the best in the area in terms of food/drink quality and taste. I usually ask for extra sauce on the subs I get because I am a buffalo/chipotle fanatic! I never mind coming to this wawa because the store associates are kind and welcoming no matter what time of day or how busy it is.

I'm a fan of the GasBuddy app that provides information on local gas prices. Wawa is usually a good deal, a penny or two cheaper than others in this part of VB. Obviously, it's not worth going well out of your way to save less than a quarter (if you have a 12 gallon tank) but if you're in the area it is. Nice wide pump area that is covered. Receipt printer worked well. Inside, an organized display of sugar and caffeine and carbs to get you going.

So good....I looove pepperoni pizza. This bagel is a genius idea...

We came back to have the pepperoni bagel! First, we stopped by Wawa on Holland RD and S. Independence for some coffee and remembered the bagel but they didn't have any.... So, we passed the one on Lynnhaven Rd near Waffle house and theybdidnt have it either! Finally, we came back to the one on Ferrell Pkwy... mission accomplished. FYI we were running errands and had to pass these WaWa stores...we didn't go out of our way lol... but definitely worth the stops! I also got a pic this time around...

Wawa is the home of fresh coffee- tons of flavors + creamers, pretzels & bagels, the best deli (hello Subs, freshly made breakfast burritos, and Turkey Bowls during the holidays,) clean bathrooms, and cheap gas! It's definitely my favorite of all gas stations/convenience stores. I wouldn't wanna live in an area without Wawa! It gives me life!

Three things I love about Wawa: 1. Hot & Cold Sandwiches made to order 2. Snapple Orangeade and Grapeade fully-stocked 3. Clean, clean, clean What's so great about Wawa is that they sell cheap gas too! The Wawa convenience store is what all other convenience stores should be judged against. Wawa, if you're reading this, please expand to Southern California; we need you. 7-11 can't hold a candle to you. You're the greatest of all time. You're the Peter Luger of convenience stores! Oh, and when you're checking out, the register makes futuristic sound effects with every scan...kinda cool but mostly nerdy. You're Quik Chek, but with gas...

Always great customer service!! They make some awesome breakfast hoagies!!! Various kinds of coffees, lattes, and hot chocolates. Oh and the regular hoagies and salads are also available

I've always had a liking to Wawa sandwiches ever since I first visited Virginia. It's pretty simple. You go to one of the screens and select what base sandwich that you want, add the condiments, toppings, and take your receipt to the register to pay for it. Then let them do their magic. When I first started coming to Wawa, sandwiches were dirt cheap. If I recall like $3 for a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. They've gone up to the regular $5 since then but they're still worth it. I always hit it up when I visit Virginia.

We had a group of 8 adults and 1 child, and they accommodated us very easily. There's plenty of seating with a mix of booths and tables, so it never felt cramped. One of my favorite parts of the dining experience was that they have board games scattered throughout the restaurant. It made eating out with family much more enjoyable while we waited for our food. My daughter played Connect Four, the crocodile tooth game, and a fishing game, which kept her entertained the entire time. Even though we had a large group with several different orders, our food came out surprisingly quickly. We placed our order on the kiosk ourselves, but the staff still brought every dish out to our table, which was a nice touch. My go-to order is always the pork teriyaki bowl. It comes with a generous portion of pork and rice along with fresh julienned onions, carrots, and green onions. It also includes miso soup, you just have to remember to select the option to add it when ordering. My husband always gets the chicken sandwich with the sweet and savory sauce. The chicken is perfectly crispy every time, and the sauce really takes the sandwich to another level. My daughter loves the fried wings with the soy garlic sauce. They're crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the sauce has a sweet, teriyaki-like flavor that's always a hit with her. If you have picky kids, you can also get it without sauce and opt for the dressing on the side to dip for $0.75. i always get an extra cup as their soy garlic sauce pairs well with my pork teriyaki bowl! The menu has something for everyone, with a great variety of Asian fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, rice bowls, noodles, and appetizers. It's one of those places we keep coming back to because the food is consistently delicious and the owners are always welcoming and kind. If you're looking to support a great local business, Chick N Roll is definitely worth a visit.

Generous portion, plus takeout-friendly packaging that shows they thought about people who might not finish in one sitting (me). The Korean Chicken Nuggets with Spicy Soy Garlic were addicting. The spot itself is spotless, bumping fun music, and even the prints on the walls add to the vibe. Ordering is easy either up front or at the kiosk, and the customer service? Maybe my point of reference are the Korean soy and garlic at other other places like Cx Chicken or Bxxchxx but these didn't have the soy garlic taste and it's soggy! The to go packaging was good: they had a hole in the styrofoam box lid to vent out steam, the Sando was tucked into the paper wrap so you can conveniently grab it without messing your hand up.

You can't go wrong with their ube or peach mango pie, fried chicken, pineapple juice, and spaghetti. People tend to not realize this is fast food. It's nothing too fancy but it can hit the spot. I love Jollibee's mission and theme of togetherness. Recently, I went in for their Final Fantasy collab since I love that video game series. I loved how cute the packaging and merch were. Our meal box came with free FF x Jollibee stickers and they were so adorable! The design on the cups was super cute too. I usually do online pick up orders, which go smoothly. However, the day I went to sit down was super busy. I think it was the Sunday post-church rush. We waited a little over 30 minutes. I wasn't too upset because I see the staff working hard, and I assumed I just came in at the wrong time. Either way, I'll be back! Take advantage of their rewards system! Before ordering, I used the restroom--and that's where things really went downhill. While I was inside, I heard someone finishing up obviously changing their pad and then quickly leaving with the wipes and feminine items in hand without washing their hands. It turned out to be an employee, which was extremely concerning. They left so fast that I couldn't identify who it was. For a first impression, this was honestly disgusting, shocking, and off-putting. Cleanliness and hygiene are non-negotiable, especially in a restaurant. Unfortunately, this experience completely turned me off. Then it took FOREVER to get the food. While they had a lot of chicken ready to go it seemed like they fulfilled orders every 5 minutes. Lots of employees were walking in circles in the back seemingly not knowing what they were supposed to be doing. And to top it all off I was charged twice bringing the total to around $50 for mid tasting food. This error was corrected quickly. 4/10 -- would not recommend.

You can customize nearly everything, and while that kind of complexity could easily bog things down, I've found this location to be impressively efficient. The staff keeps the drive-thru moving, fast and to the point. That said, if you're new or just indecisive, I highly recommend going inside. The menu is huge, and if you're not ready when it's your turn, you might feel a little rushed. My husband and I text our orders to each other and read off our phones to keep things moving. Cook Out was once the king of budget eats -- I remember when a tray (entrée + 2 sides + a drink) was around $5. Those days are behind us. These days it's more like $7-$8, which still isn't bad, but the creep is noticeable. One of my latest discoveries that might change your life: they sell slices of cheesecake. Yes -- actual cheesecake for around $3. You can add any of their milkshake toppings to it. Crushed Oreos on your cheesecake? Done. Strawberry syrup and peanut butter cups? Go for it. It's dangerously indulgent. In short: Cook Out is chaotic in concept, but smooth in execution -- especially at this location. I chose the Chicken Tenders Box Combo both visits. It consists of 4 large pieces of tender juicy chicken & true Deep South Cole Slaw prepared with a light sauce, just like I grew up with. Also included were Crinkle Cut French Fries & awesome Texas Toast. I opted out of their Special Sauce, which I am told is delicious by those who like dipping Chicken Fingers. Lemonade, which is really good, was my drink choice. Perhaps the difference in the visits has to do with time of day. The first visit was mid afternoon, having had a doctor's appointment in close proximity. The personnel were friendly & welcoming. What must have been the manager told us we should come back the next week, on their First Anniversary. We decided to support the restaurant on their Anniversary, meeting friends who lived in Chesapeake. The drive from the Shore Dr corridor to Greenbrier at rush hour was much longer than anticipated. So it was in the midst of the dinner hour when we arrived. The restaurant was extremely busy. The staffing seemed similar to our mid afternoon visit, which wasn't quite adequate to handle the dinner hour level of business. It wasn't an Anniversary crowd. My Chesapeake friends indicated that the restaurant was always that busy. The food tray came so quickly that I was still talking to one of their pleasant personnel, maybe a manager. Although we were able to order quickly, very soon there was a long line snaking past our table towards the back of the store. I was shocked when we left the restaurant at the extremely long line of cars waiting to go through the drive thru. The parking lot of the restaurant didn't come close to containing it. Told that it was always like this, I understood that the staff must be struggling to handle that many customers at one time. One big complaint on my second visit is that one of their 2 unisex, spacious bathrooms was completely out of toilet paper & paper towels. The soap dispenser had the front taken off, obviously by a patron trying to find soap. The inside replaceable plastic bag of soap refills had been squeezed, obviously in an attempt to get the last of the soap remaining. I planned to tell an employee the state of that bathroom but they were so busy that I decided to just return to my table. Obviously this was a good location choice for a Raising Cane's. But I do think they should increase their staffing level during the busy dinner hours. The location was filled with framed Chesapeake History. It was fun to walk around and see the articles & pictures. One was even a page from the 1955 Oscar Smith High School Yearbook. I'll return to this location both for takeout after a doctor appointment or to meet my Chesapeake friends. But I'll definitely leave earlier or take a different route. And I look forward to the opening of their planned Lynnhaven location.
