This is one of the dirtier Wawa's. I've ever been to. It's in kind of a scruffy neighborhood and it shows. The parking lot is consistently dirty, the inside is kind of dirty. It just looks like nobody cares about the cleanliness, which makes a difference than most of the Wawa's I have been to. The people cooking the food seem to be fairly ambivalent, but they're getting the job done. The coffee selection is OK, plenty of drinks, the do it yourself check out is handy because the checkout cashiers tend to be on the slow side. Usually I like this location but today 6/3/26 while getting gas pump 6 kept giving customers and employees problem where it would automatically refund your payment and you would have to redo it. Yes it was a bit frustrating but the male cashier at the time was very professional about it and even tried telling management about the problem and instead of management doing something about it they pretty much ignored the cashier and the problem at hand. Wawa really needs to retrain their management team and hold them accountable. read more

I used to stop by here fairly often for gas and/or carbonated caffeine. The pros: clean, friendly workers, Coke Freestyle machine. I wish I could give them more stars, but the cons drive it way down. I've finally given up on them. I paid extra for their gas because of their Freestyle machine, but for too long their syrup/carbonated water mix is way off. They all taste like mildly flavored. So I'm an Uber driver and I usually look for a while because they're very convenient. Usually when I go into Wawa, I can go to the restroom. I can get my gas or something to eat. That's usually where I take my break I actually made a conscious effort to come all the way to this Wawa's Because of the area that I'm at this is probably the better Wawa at least that's what I thought before I got here, but when I got here, the cashier was on the phone, talking to whoever or she was on a little microphone that they put in their ears talking to whoever when I walked up to her I put my stuff on. I didn't care she was on the phone I just wanted my stuff rang out as she goes to put my stuff in the bag. I'm telling her no bag please no bag please no bag please she insist I'm putting in the bag. Finally she realize that I'm telling her no bag and cops are fucking attitude. Not only does she have an attitude but when I ask her if there's a problem oh no, you have to wait until I print out your receipt. I said hey not a problem I took the receipt walked away. I go to get my soup that I ordered when I go to pick up my soup. The lady that's doing the shakes and whatever I asked her I was like hey are you the manager and she was like no but what's the problem? Wait a minute to me I don't speak to my customers like that so at that point, I had said enough I just turned around and walked out told her no thank you as I got to my car I proceeded to not only do a review on them on the Wawa app, but also do a review on them on yelp like this is ridiculous. Where is the customer service at? Where is the lake? The soup that I ordered is nothing but water I barely have. Any vegetables barely have any noodles. Fast service! One of the biggest gas stations I've ever seen. They have it all coffee of all kinds plus all your normal gas station stuff. The one really cool thing that makes them stand out is their food ordering system. You walk up to the touch screen computer and order whatever you want from sandwiches,salads breakfast sandwiches etc.. About ten minutes later they call your number and your out the door. Down side is the food is just okay. It won't be the best sandwich you've ever had or even close to it but it's fast easy and cheap. I've noticed this chain is starting to grow very quickly so if there's not one near you yet I'm sure there will be in the future. They seem to be very successful and I would say if your ever passing one for sure stop in. read more

Gas today 1-14-2015 is $1.85. I have went inside the store but has not buy anything yet. The whole facilities is less than one month old. This is not the biggest Wawa like the one that next to the Hard Rock Casino. However, due to the newly open Wawa, they are running low gas price. If you happen to pass by I-275 and Bearss check out the northeast corner for Wawa. The price war for the new Wawa properly run for another month. read more

The gas here is stupid cheap. I just filled up my tank for like 15 bucks. This particular area of Tampa (intersection of Bearrs and 275) ALWAYS has the cheapest prices. This particular Wawa seems to be +/- 1 cent off the lowest gas prices in that part of town. What separates them from everybody else is that they have top quality gas station food! Their subs are not quite as good as the ones from Publix but definitely miles ahead of Subway. They also have a bunch of different breakfast sandwiches called Sizzlis. Not sure what to pick? Get the croissant bacon sandwich - you won't be dissappointed. I was gonna take off a star for the long gas lines which is usually 2 cars deep during rush hour but this is definitely as good as it gets when it comes to gas stations! If you see a crowded gas station, there are only a few assumptions one can make. Yup, you got it.... it usually means cheaper gas than it's competition. This Wawa has new pumps that work easily and aren't broken, a very nice change in Tampa. And yes, the gas was the cheapest around. The traffic at the pumps & in and out of the store was almost comical. This place was full, people were actually waiting to get spaces at the pump & for the store. I did not have the pleasure of visiting inside the store, but have heard they are clean & offer some good eats. What's a girl to do? Who doesn't love Wawa?! They have cheap gas, lots of pumps to keep things rolling and the place is clean. When you go inside they have one of those mix and match flavor Coke machines, a great selection of snacks and even some real food which I hear is actually edible! Of course I didn't try it.... It's a massive gas station at the corner of Nebraska and Bearss Avenue in Lutz, with some of the cheapest fuel prices in the area. As with all Wawa's there is a full-service sandwich shop and convenience mart inside the store. The place is open 24 hours a day, so you can run in there after your disappointing meal at Culvers and purchase some chocolate milk to settle your stomach. I was there to fill up my SUV, and thankfully their gas prices were still quite low. Unfortunately, every yahoo with a pickup truck was trying to fill up at the pumps that night, and we nearly had some altercations in the parking lot as people raced towards an open gas pump, only to be cut off by Billy Bob in his jacked-up 4-wheeler. I am a huge fan of Wawa. Before they came to Tampa I thought that gas stations had to fall somewhere between terrible and tolerable. And the thought of getting a full meal at one would be unthinkable. This brand new location on Bearss Ave is located right next to I-275, which will be so convenient for this area. Wawa locations are always clean and have competitive prices for gas. It still amazes me that I now like getting food from a gas station. Their multiple touch screens that they have around the building let you quickly and easily place your order. After you're done paying it's just a quick wait before you get your food. And it's not food you would normally associate with a gas station: stacked club sandwiches, quesadillas, lobster bisque, etc. I also love that I can get a variety of fresh cut fruit or yogurt. If you're interested in the nutritional counts of a particular item you can look it up on the Wawa website. What a luxury it is to have a place like this available 24 hours a day! read more

I didn't understand all the hype. It is a gas station, how good can the food be? My only regret is that I waited this long to try it. The ordering system is super cool. You use a touch screen to complete your entire order then receive a receipt which you take to the cashier to pay. Once you pay you simply wait around until they call your number and viola, you have your food. I had a breakfast sandwhich and it was nothing short of spectacular. I don't think it was light on calories but I ordered it, I enjoyed it, and I did a bit extra att the gym to make up for it. I highly recommend this place for the food alone. read more

My favorite Wawa .... I go by there every week at least once or twice and they never disappoint. First, the majority of the staff is absolutely pleasant. The food and beverages are always great tasting! Plus their computer ordering system is so convenient and easy to use. Try their quesadillas , their smoothies, their cafe con leche, their hot breakfast sandwiches by the register. Their gas prices are one of the lowest. I usually don't get gas there because I've done so closer to home. But overall Wawa is awesome. This is one of my favorite locations and the other one is in Sarasota. read more

This place is crazy busy at all times. This place is in constant fluid motion. Probably not the cleanest wawa I have been to but it's probably due to the high traffic. This wawa is my favorite. I work right down the road, so it's really convenient to come here during lunch time. Their custom salads are the best and my favorite, i practically live off of them. The staff is hilarious, they will shout funny things all day long and they keep the atmosphere so lively and funny.
