Just here for gas and to wash my windows like any gas station. Not one of the buckets have a drop of cleaning solution ... dry as a bone. Not the first time. Gas pump said scan your app - not once has that worked ... tried to "activate the pump" in the app ... didn't work ... What's going on here??!! read more

Absolutely disgusting how this place went downhill since opening. The first few months were wonderful. Now the staff frequently forgets orders, the bread feels like its day old. Sandwiches are sloppily tossed together with not nearly as much inside of them. This is CLEARLY a poor staff situation and needs to be rectified if they expect to get my business again. Do better Wawa, you used to be the king. Train your staff better, because right now the 7-11 down the street is more appetizing than this dump. read more

This is a large store with food, deli, gas, drinks, etc.....The prices are high. I think too high. And some things I feel they should have in stock, they don't. It's more of a snack shop than a mini grocery. They don't sell too many basics- like mustard...But they have ketchup - at double the normal price. The store is clean. The bathrooms are....eh. The staff is ok and when getting gas, the pumps are crowded. Would I come out of my way to come here...nah. But if I'm passing by it would be ok. read more

This spot is perfect for child visitation transfers. There is a large public parking lot overlooking the Enola Rail Yard and Susquehanna which, on a clear day, is quite picturesque. I watched several couples on Sunday roll in, trade kids, and roll out under a cool, clear day as I gassed up and waited for my Buffalo Chicken Panini and Iced Coffee. This is the second Wawa in the area and represents a clean and efficient location. I ate my panini while watching the trains roll north and the river run south, listening to a podcast about the recovery of cursed relics from the Cult of Hitaas which infiltrated the Russian aristocracy in 1792. It was a nice break during my long drive. Ironically, the other side of the Wawa points toward a development called "River's Edge" which, aside from being the title of a very dark crime film from 1986, is nowhere near the edge of the river. In fact, should you rent a unit facing the river, your view out the window every morning will be this Wawa which, at around $1800 for 2 bedrooms, is a bit misleading and disappointing. Unlike its main competition (Sheetz), Wawa's parking lot is not designed by someone obsessed with Mad Max and demolition derbies; it is well organized with long lines of sight and lots of room to swerve out of the way when a delivery truck speeds across the front of the store. The food still tastes like actual food. While the "buffalo" chicken could do with much more "buffalo sauce" than the spritzing it has, the chicken is tender and the bread is fresh. The pizza is so not-good that they should discontinue it. They tried, but it is the least satisfying (or even convincing) food product they offer. "Fresh Baked Goods" are not fresh, nor are they necessarily baked, and rarely good. If you think you're getting a fresh baked pretzel, you will be disappointed by the plastic wrapper you have to open. A lot of this is processed and pre-packaged and, therefore, way overpriced for the quality. The staff, as expected, has the usual look of being hunted and judged, especially in the kitchen. It's hard to prep food when there are a few dozen weary travelers staring at you trying to telepathically influence you to move fast and get to their meatball sub or custom liquid caffeine delivery system. To lock eyes with them is to see the eyes of a deer in the woods - the fear is there as they desperately pretend there was no contact and rush away to keep up with their tasks. The exception is the food delivery staff. On my last two visits, they brought my food out to my truck and we exchanged kind words and they seemed to feel blessed for the privilege of escaping the rush even if for just a moment. read more

Dear Wawa Management Team, I am writing to report a significantly disappointing and unprofessional customer service interaction that occurred at your Store. during the late evening/early morning hours. Details of the Incident: Time: Approximately 11:50 PM - 12:00 AM Item Purchased: Milkshake Employee Description: A young woman with black hair and identifiable facial piercings. On the night specified, I received the milkshake I had ordered. Upon tasting it, I found it to be unusually thin and extremely watery--a consistency I have never encountered despite ordering this exact item multiple times before. I politely approached the employee who made the item (the young lady described above) and explained that the product was excessively watery and did not meet the usual quality standard. Instead of offering a quick apology or immediate solution, the employee became highly argumentative, immediately engaging in a back-and-forth debate with me, repeatedly insisting that "that's how it's made."When the disagreement persisted, I asked for either a refund or to speak with a manager. The employee reluctantly responded, stating she would "just remake it," but she did so while displaying an overtly nasty and hostile attitude throughout the entire process. The refusal to acknowledge a clear quality issue and the subsequent unprofessional behavior were appalling. She continued to argue and debate with me about the product standard and went as far as muttering comments under her breath, s a very loyal and frequent customer, I genuinely enjoy coming to Wawa. However, as someone who works full-time in customer service myself, the behavior exhibited by this employee was unacceptable. This incident was truly one of the worst service experiences I have had at this location, and it has regrettably put a very bad taste in my mouth regarding future visits. I did place a call to a manager shortly after this incident occurred because I believe this level of hostility and defensiveness should be addressed immediately. It is critical that employees handle quality complaints respectfully, rather than challenging the customer and displaying blatant disrespect. I request that management review this incident and take appropriate action to ensure employees are trained on proper conflict resolution and maintaining Wawa's high standards of quality and courteous service.
