Even though food tasted amazing, they smashed my husband's sandwich flat, and when I went in to grab sour cream that they forgot to give us the lady gave me a hard time and attitude. Their inside of the store is dirty and needs cleaning. There is only 1 bathroom for both men and women, we waiting for 10-15mins to use the bathroom. Parking is small and hard to find. Really needed to use the restroom and the comforting familiarity of the Wawa logo in red neon said what it always says to a weary traveler.., "lay down your burdens and find rest (and a jolt of caffeine) for your journey." What the hell Wawa? This place looked like a long abandoned bus depot. Bathroom broken, merchandise strewn, employees milling everywhere and an ordering kiosk so foul I wouldn't touch it with a finger from a medical school cadaver. Just stopped bye. I really love wawa. I stop at one every chance I get on road trips. The reason people have such an affinity for wawa is because the quality and familiarity you can expect throughout the chain. But this one misses the mark. It resembles a run down 7/11 more than a wawa. Besides the overall location looking run down (messy sticky lid/straw section, chipping doors and handles..etc) the soda machine needs to be replaced and the bathroom situation is less than ideal. A single unisex stall that had the most bizarre odor with again everything old and peeling and crusted over. Also the water was so damn hot it was near impossible to wash my hands. I don't have much else to say except I would want corporate to come down and see it wouldn't cost that much for a facelift for this location to make it sparkle again. Dirtiest Wawa bathroom I have ever seen. Both sinks look like they were coated with grease- like someone cleaned automotive parts in them. Two of those heavy-duty hand dryers, but only one works. The other creates a puddle of water on the floor. Paper seat covers don't come out of the dispensers. Reach in to extricate one and they all come out. Boo! Cheap gas, pump your own. Do yourself a huge favor and never ever stop at this Wawa. It is the only Wawa I have ever seen with no gas pumps. Inside the crew is an absolute disaster and the sandwich counter is out of most of the main ingredients you would ever want. No meatballs, chicken salad, no grill chicken breast. The list goes on and on and on. The line to check out would've taken about 15 minutes if we had not just walked out and gone down the street for some other food. read more

They should not be allowed to advertise this Wawa on Highway 1. Most people traveling on this road are traveling to and from the shore points. Not only is it 1.4 miles from the highway but there is no bathroom and no gas. We had trailer for bikes and there is limited space to park. There were 3 porta potties outside the building. It was 91 degrees, humid and they were filled with waste. Not acceptable in my opinion to be on a highway travel info sign. The worst Wawa I have ever been in. read more
