I can't say I've ever order much from this WaWa or any WaWa for that matter but you can't beat their points system (Bye Starbucks!), their great coffee, Sizzli sandwiches, light cream (I buy it to take home and brew their awesome coffee in addition to buying a coffee for work on occasion). I had just discovered Wawa around a week ago in Florida. Loved it! Everything was so fresh and clean. Driving back to NY I stopped at this one. Ehh, nope, not the same as the one I went to in Florida. I got the pineapple mango refresher. They don't have cold foam in this Wawa but that was ok but my drink tasted like pineapple juice and water. Compared to the one in florida, it sucked. Where were the little pieces of pineapple and where the hell was the mango? I haven't tasted my sandwich yet. Wow. After a BAD experience at the local Sheetz, looks like Wawa wins the battle of SHEETZ V WAWA in Petersburg. Stopped here after doing a college game while in town, and as a closet Wawa lover, saving it only for trips to the beach, this was exactly what I needed. The place is VERY clean, all food items are properly stocked including the iced coffee dispenser which is ALWAYS out or low at any other wawa. Not this one. My usual order is self-made iced coffee with Irish cream. It's a staple and any time I need a pick-me-up and a wawa is near- I'm on it. Got one for the road which I'll put on ice for tomorrow morning when I'll undoubtedly need it. My food order was a 6inch cheesesteak with provolone, chipotle sauce, spinach, onion, mild pepper rings and oregano. PERFECTLY DONE. I know sheetz is cheap and convenient but I think each of these two stores have something better than the other. In terms of most HOT food, meat portion, iced coffee, free creamers, and hot sides - Wawa is GOAT. Period. Customer service was also on point, with the lady named Jocninto serving the food and wishing me a good night and asking how my day was as she wrapped it up. Genuine care. I had such a long day and was about to hit the road for a 3hrs trip to my destination in NC but, before I left VA totally I went to the last wawa (this one) until the NC state line. I enjoy the wawa experience and have yet to have a bad experience. Racheal the cashier was very very helpful. When she asked "if I had found everything ok?" I let her know that I was sad couldn't find the green wawa unsweet tea in the refrigerators. She then went to the back storage and found me the unsweet tea. I was complete and felt ready to drive! She was so helpful and kind and I was super happy after that. I would return to this location because customer service is great here. read more

Wawa is always a perfect place to stop and get food on your way. Our meals were expensive, however the food was fresh and quickly made for us. If you're on the road and want a quick stop for food this is the place to do it, as long as you're willing to pay a little extra. Otherwise it was quick and convenient. My friends and I stopped here as a pit stop for gas, bathroom, dog walks, and food on our drive from NJ to FL. The subs we ordered were delicious and made exact to order. The entire store and bathrooms were very clean. The staff was friendly, even when a huge line was formed because of only 1 cashier. This WAWA here in Petersburg is got to be the busiest I've ever been to. Now the folks working here are the best around. Always friendly and helpful, I've never seen them overwhelmed. And there gas is cheaper then anybody's, I was just there Friday morining and it was $2.99. This store always looks clean and orderly, and less not forget the great coffe selections. read more

Out of all the Wawas in the area, I frequent this one the most. The coffee is great, their selection of various snacks and drinks are good, the food is good, and the employees are friendly. I like that they try their best to keep the lines down, the gas is usually lower here than the surrounding gas stations. My main complaint is that this place is never ever not crowded. Trying to get a pump here is frustrating due to long waits. read more
