They also have such necessities as some dairy products - eggs, milks, several types of cheeses, even sour cream. They make sandwiches also although I haven't tried that and to be honest, I'd be wary to try sandwiches in most delis, especially while I'm away somewhere, not close to home. All in all, fantastic local countryside deli/mart that satisfies your basic needs in absence of larger stores and or pharmacies. (Yes, they sell all kind of first aid/painkillers too).

The store is always clean, well stocked, and easy to get in and out of quickly. What really stood out to me was the owner's kindness. One time I stopped in for light cream, but they had sold out. Instead of just saying "sorry," he told me I could take some of the leftover light cream from the coffee station so I didn't have to go without. It was such a small gesture, but it showed a level of customer service you just don't see much anymore. It's clear he cares about the people who come through his store, and that kind of personal touch is rare these days. If you're in the area and need gas, coffee, or a quick stop for snacks or essentials, this is absolutely the place to go. Great owner, great service, and a store that's run the right way.

You should give Cranbury Convenience a try. Since I have lived in Cranbury, we have not had this type of store. With the size of Cranbury, this is a store that most people can walk to or pass-by on the way home after work. That is indeed convenient. I would rather not drive on rt.130 just to pick up a few things on a quiet summer week day or a cold winter evening. Some of the other small shops near Cranbury, though amazing (shout out to Crockadeli and 7-Eleven), are not quite a 5 to 20 minute walk on a safe road from everywhere in Cranbury-- so -- not as convenient. I would advise Cranbury residents to discover Cranbury Convenience so that John, the owner, will/can keep his shop in town.
