This is hands-down the best Wawa in NJ. They're so incredibly spacious and efficient, aisles are always clean and they make great subs and sandwiches. One of my fave places to get quality breakfast for under $3 (turkey sausage, egg & cheese on pretzel bread is my fave). They have premade items, made-to-order selections, and the usual chips, dips and array of snacks. They're also 24/7 so you can stop in any time of the day for great eats and beverages. Being from North Jersey, I was only exposed to Wawa a few months ago, on a trip down to Philadelphia. My boyfriend told me repeatedly that we needed to stop at one during our time there. We did, and it was great. Fast forward a few months, when I remembered that they built a Wawa in North Jersey! I decided to try it out because they seriously have the cheapest gas I've seen in my area. For a busy road during rush hour, their service is amazing. My tank was filled in mere minutes, the gas is great*, and I was back out on the road before I knew it. I stopped inside once to buy a newspaper, and it appeared to be very clean and well-organized. When the line grew to about 4 people, they quickly opened another register to get the line moving. I haven't tried the food yet, but I'm just waiting for an excuse to do so. They also play pretty enjoyable music over the speakers, for whatever that's worth. *I'm one of those people who think that their car "likes" and "doesn't like" certain brands of gas. I come here whenever I'm near the area just for the banana smoothie (no whipped cream) w/ the immunity protein ($1 extra). I've had the breakfast chicken burrito. It was ok. It's not something I would order again. However, my husband finds that and the steak burrito to be satisfactory. I get why people love Wawa. The coffee is good, there are so many choices for packaged food - from sammiches to salads to fruit. And the touch screen ordering for the deli is GENIUS! I am super picky about condiments so it's awesome that I can just choose what I want and not have to worry if it gets lost in translation. They have the typical food mart stuff along with fresh fruits, on-the-go containers, and fresh sandwiches! If 7-Eleven had a gas station and a Subway, I would wish we had a Sub-Eleven! I fill up my gas here weekly as it is conveniently located off of rt 46 and by other highways. If I have to wait for gas its never long since there are 3 rows with 2 sides to fill up gas. I grew up in North Jersey. As like any good Jersey boy or girl when summer came around you go to the Shore. No this is not gonna be a story of how we are nothing like the clowns on that show. (We're not by the way) This is a story of how you knew you where down the shore when you started to see the Wawas on Route 35 or once you got off the Parkway. Wawa is a PA based company that made its way through Maryland, Philly, and stopped in South Jersey. For some reason it never made its way past the Driscole Bridge. A few short years ago while riding up 280 North I got off at the end in Parsippany and I saw it. Wait? Is it true? Are those wonderful fresh made sandwiches and tons of coffee varieties available a mere 30 toll free minutes away from me? Well golly yes it is! Oh let me tell you these places are great. Gas prices and all merchandise is perfectly ok. This review is about the older Asian lady that works there. Happened to me at least 4 times on separate occasions but twice today. I go to pay with cash for whatever I bought and she will purposely not give you back the coin change. She crunches up the cash slightly pretending that there are coins under it and gives it to you expecting you too put it in your pocket or something. I don't care about 12 cents or something small but today she jipped me 85 cents. How does she not think I won't notice 85 f*****g cents?!?!? Be wary of her. read more

Damn you 287 traffic keeping me from the wonders of the Wawa. I was so happy when they opened up I can't even explain. So they have gas, and it's pretty moderately priced whenever I've been there. The service is always pretty fast and pleasant--but the fun is in the store. This is what convenience stores should be! Clean, efficient, chock full o goodness at all times. I don't often order hot food from the Wawa but the few times I have (hangover special) it's always been good. You get to order via touchscreen, which is cool cuz who really wants to talk to someone anyway and describe all the little weirdo things you do or don't want on your sandwich....would I like to add a warm chocolate chip cookie onto my order? Heck yes I would.... I do love their coffee as well....as I'm no longer drinking it daily, I will stop in on occasion and grab a cup to treat myself. I like that they have all the different crazy creamers available as well as a multitude of coffee flavors to choose from. The bar is big enough so a bunch of people can be making their coffee at all times. What cracks me up is that for years working at Starbucks we could never keep that stupid condiment bar clean, but the Wawa condiment bar is pretty much spotless all the time. They have an excellent selection of pre-made foods and platters to take with you, like hardboiled eggs, or fruit and protein plates (whole wheat bagel, pb, grapes, cheese), cottage cheese, yogurt, pudding, hummus w dipping things. There's candy, there's cupcakes, there's a whole section devoted to tastycake? or hostess...one of the two I try to stay away cuz it could be my downfall. Pretty convent and cheap for a to go meal... Not really a big fan of there food...but it does it job... Stoping here for a smoothies is like my specialty... Four bucks for a large...three bucks for a small...there's a good amount of people working here... There's never a line! Went to this wawa yesterday and end up reporting this place to cooperate because of rude employee at deli. My friend and myself order our food then went to pay cashier then back to deli. Deli clerk ask me the order number then ask did you pay, i reply yes then he reply thank you for paying then just almost throwing our food to us way deli clerk handed our food. It's a pretty typical Wawa but there really aren't many Wawas in North Jersey. They sell gas and they always seem to have some of the most reasonable prices in the area. It's a pretty busy spot as it's very conveniently located right off 280 so it's easy on and easy off. I will give this particular location major props for being open during Hurricane Sandy and, for the most part, always having gas. Yes, the lines were incredibly long but it was still one of the only places in the area open and operating. I was able to get a much needed fill-up here during the Hurricane.
