Curley's Fries is a staple food item on the Wildwood boardwalk! If you're visiting for the first…read moretime, definitely give them a try! They slice their own potatoes and make fresh fries right there in front of you! The fries are always piping hot and and made fresh for every order! They have 3 different sizes: the regular, the bucket, or the barrel. In our opinion they give you a very decent amount in each size! The barrel is definitely big enough for 4-5 people. They put just the right amount of salt on the fries! What we also love is the condiment bar. They have ketchup, sauces, and malt vinegar for you to enjoy. If you are looking for cheese sauce, it is an extra charge! Even though these fries are a bit on the pricey side, we still get them every time we are visiting. Curley's has been there since I was little so I do not mind supporting a business that I love!

Coming here is always what's good as the fries here are nothing short of awesomely delicious especially because they are done the old way where they are fried in peanut oil and that right there makes for what is always scrumptious! They also offer a few different sauces to dip in and of them I totally went with the chimichurri sauce which totally hit the spot with each dunk of those flavorful fries! The fries here are awesome each and every time I've had them they have been cooked perfectly and just awesome! Their lemonade here is also really yummy it's full of sugar and full of lemon goodness just the way it should be! Overall if you find yourself in search of a snack at Morey's Piers then this is the perfect one as it's fried goodness that everyone will totally love!

So, so, Sorry to give a legendary Philly name in Cheesesteaks a 2 star but I can't do any better…read more I'm only givin' a 2 and not a 1 because maybe I got here on an off day. They have a window which you can watch them grill the steaks. In my opinion, if I was grilling steaks they way they did that day, I'd have the privacy shades down. Pre-sliced and most likely frozen slices of meat. They flip it wit a hamburger spatula! What da'?! They layer it on the unimpressive roll and boom what they call a Philly Steak is served. The cheese was lumpy and not fully melted, the meat was tough, it was kinda' like being served a Steak-umm but unfortunately a Streak-umm is better. Look, it ain't often I cant finish anything let alone a Cheesesteak but I couldn't finish. Sorry again but as a lifelong Philly Cheesesteak eater I can't in good conscience recommend this location and then someone who's never had a Philly Cheesesteak goes her and has the same low quality steak I had. In my opinion they wouldn't never try another Cheesesteak.

Mine was WAY overcooked . Wah! We had their cheesesteak in Philly so we had to check out wildwood. The fries were tasty. Service was slow but it was the first day. From when we got on line to when we got our food was 75 minutes. Hope they speed up. Staff was friendly. Great location. Can't wait to try again.

If you love the 1950s era and the music (and decent diner food), this IS ABSOLUTELY your spot…read more Doo Wop Diner brings diners back to the days of the Doo Wop Era not only with its interior design, but also the music blaring from its sound systems. You'll feel like you've transported back to the future like Marty McFly, except you won't need a DeLorean for this. This diner is nooooo gimmick as the food is surprisingly pretty good here. Like any diner, they've got a variety of different selections that'll make your head spin and make you wish you can order everything. They've got your breakfast items - omelettes, sandwiches, pancakes and French toasts. They've got your lunch/dinner faves like 1/4 lb foot long hot dogs, half lb burgers, sandwiches, wrapes and, of course, milkshakes and malts. On our visit here, my wife ordered the Doo Wop Burger and I went with the Road Runner Dog. For the kids, we ordered the Baby Bopper Dog and Fish and Chips. Like I said, all of the food was surprisingly pretty good. We've had bad experiences with beach boardwalk food in the past, but Doo Wop Diner really exceeded our expectations as we knew we were taking a chance when we walked in. The highlight for me though was actually the addictive crinkle cut fries that was served with all of our meals. They were probably frozen, but I absolutely couldn't stop eating them because they were just so perfectly crispy and crunchy - dare I say even better than Shake Shack's fries????? To wash down our meals, I also ordered the Strawberry Banana Shake, which was a real deal ice cream shake and quite refreshing - just ask my kids. If you're walking north on the boardwalk from the Convention Center, chances are you'll easily run into the Doo Wop Diner. At first, you'll think it was just another gimmicky restaurant on the boardwalk, but you'll quickly find out that they probably serve some of the better food on the Wildwood Boardwalk, so fill up here.
