if i could give this zero stars i would. i'm currently suffering from food poisoning from a milkshake i had from here on sunday. i was told by someone that the staff don't clean the milkshake blender on a regular basis, and now that has come out to the customers' expense. i'm currently bedridden with random trips to the bathroom. please, don't get the milkshakes read more

Who doesn't live a Wawa! They are super convenient and have a wide array of food options when you are on the run.

The ice at this Wawa location is standard convenience store ice. Why? Why lure us there with the Wawa name and then have substandard ice? Wawa ice, across the board, is special to a lot of people...but this location chooses to disappoint. If you want gas, snacks and lottery tickets, yeah, go here, but don't leave your house, running to this location, if you're hard up for the special ice chunkd because this location will disappoint you, like a two timing spouse. #OneJob read more

Hoagie heaven! Do I even need to say more? I come here for gas since it's only 6 blocks from me plus the meatball hoagie with provolone cheese never lets me down. I'm study at Seton Hall and I come to this Wawa quite often. Parking is also easy here and the facility is always clean. Definitely one of the better Wawa around the area. If you've never been to Wawa I recommend trying out their iced teas, milkshakes, and their sandwiches. I always get the Philly cheesesteak and it's always on point. Definitely the spot to go to for gas and sandwiches during break if you're around the area. read more

Living in Maplewood for almost 25 years I have never experienced a gas station that would not take a 20 when I wanted to pay only 10. I was asked to get out of my car to go into the Wawa store to get change.... reason it after 12am. I have never heats of such in the most dense and dangerous areas in NJ. I felt like I was going to harm getting out of my car. The clerk in the store oblivious hated his job. Standing there for 10 mins to get two ten will never be worth it again to ever returning. I will bring this issue up in the next issues Record. I will speak to the person that owns that franchise first. read more

Well, I really could not wait for this store to open!! Working in the Woodbridge area, I'm very familiar with the WaWa chain. They offer a good variety of almost anything. I believe in patronizing stores in the area in which I live, so I started to stop here after work. On more than one occasion I was approached by a male asking me for money or to buy him something to eat. One guy even went as far as following me to my car. I don't scare easily and I told them to take off, in which they did without incident. I feel it's the fault of the police department. There should be better police presence in that area. After all, if the residents of Maplewood cannot feel safe there , they will have no choice but to go to Millburn and other towns where people don't get harassed by low life's begging for money. read more

I made a Yelp account just to review these people. I went here last night and ordered a hoagie for work the next day (A little before 1 AM). I placed my order, paid at the cashier, and waited patiently for my order. They called my number, and when I picked up the food I realized it was a panini (not the hoagie I had ordered). I told them they gave me the wrong order, so they gave me the "correct" order and I went home. I wanted to eat half of the sandwich at that moment and take the other half to work. I took a bite into the sandwich, and after a couple of bites I realized they only put lettuce, peppers, and breaded chicken on the hoagie when I had also ordered tomatoes, onions, spinach, and other condiments on it. So I drove ten minutes back to the place (I live in Union) and told them they messed up my order TWICE. The manager said I'll remake the sandwich for you, just tell me what you want on it. I told her what was included on it and as she was making it she was like "you have so many condiments on the sandwich you probably didn't see everything on it". Excuse me? How does that even make sense? I asked for chipotle sauce also on it and she said "You should've BEEN said that, I already basically made the sandwich". I've never felt so uncomfortable and pissed off in my life! They also couldn't even offer to compensate me for not only messing up my order twice, but the fact that I also had to drive back there when I was already home! I have ZERO REASON to return back to this filth. I will continue to go to the Elizabeth location like I've been doing. It's so sad that this location was closer by seven minutes but the first impression was TRASH. Avoid this establishment if you can. If I could give negative ten stars, I would. read more
