After a long shift all I wanted was a burger & I'm allergic to pickles so I put "no pickles" and add extra mayo & lettuce couldn't even follow simple instructions. Got the chicken nuggets and a small fry. The service was on point, they were prompt with the food and the fries were crispy and fresh. The staff provided nice customer service. The place was also clean and neat. Will definitely go back to check them out for the future. Didn't use the restroom while there so not sure about the cleanliness of that. read more

This location is great on Sundays. From what I hear from one of the locals is that it's pretty quiet during the week also. They were clean with many wheelchair accessible tables and touch to order for the deaf & hard of hearing! I used the mobile ordering service from my app, but was greeted all the same! My daughter was also greeted with delightful "hi's" from many of the staff. This location is right across the street from our church and bc my daughter loves McDonald's and hardly eats (just like most toddlers), this is always a nice place for us to dine. read more

This place is the worst! My friends and I went at 4:00 Am because we were hungry. Everything they ordered they did not have available. It was "we don't have that" after another "we don't have that" Mind you, I'm talking about the breakfast menu. The workers all had terrible attitudes. I frankly felt that they didn't wanted to serve us. I am sad and will never return to this facility. Waited over 30 mins at the last window and they over charged us ( they rung up everything separately rather than the meal which really adds up ). Save some time and go anywhere else. I ordered a fish-fillet meal from this McDonald's location and after taking a couple of bites I realized there was paper in my sandwich as you all can see. So basically I had paper for lunch. And not only that, my orange soda that I love, tasted like water and had a piece of lettuce in it. I called the location up to speak to the manager named Enrique and he was nonchalant about it and didn't even apologize. All he said was come in and I'll give you a new one. I told him hell no I'm not coming back to that location to get another sandwich. That's why chick-fil-a is winning not only with their quality of the food but also with the customer service. The lady at the drive thru has a very nasty stand off attitude. No greeting, no thank you, no energy in her voice. She sounds like you're bothering her. All she said was "second window" when I was complete with my order. These people never say thank you, they just hand you your bag and continue with background conversations. I dont usually post but this is just something I really feel I must do now. This McDonald's in Hillside is absolutely a terrible location. I'm a healthcare worker in a Long Term Care Pharmacy for over 20 years. I was very pleased to hear that McDonald's was doing something for healthcare workers. I went to the drive thru and the cashier Maria said that the Thank You Meals are only for First Responders and also Nurses and Doctors only who are employed in a hospital and that I don't qualify as a "healthcare worker". This really made me very sad since I work with medications on a daily basis for the elderly patients in Nursing Homes. Often times these patients are there for the rest of their lives and I'm part of a team that provides care for them. We also work closely with nurses, doctors and other clinical staff providing the necessary care and treatments for our patients. I asked the cashier what if I was a nurse and I work in a clinic but not in a hospital, she said I still would not qualify and that I would need to be a hospital staff. It's really appalling and quite frankly very disappointing to be honest. I'm not even sure who's at fault here, McDonald's and this flawed program or the managers training their staff. I actually tried speaking with the manager on site Rene and by the time I went to the other window, the other worker said she walked away and is not available. I'm a manager myself and the way that this manager handled this situation is completely inappropriate. It's very sad especially now during these times with COVID-19 when ALL Healthcare Workers, First Responders and all other essential workers should be greatly appreciated!!! read more

Wow I know it's a lot going on with this COVID-19 but come on now. I go to get a A Mocha Frappe & Mango Pineapple Smoothie. The young man who took my order at the drive through was on point got right since I asked for No Whip Cream or Chocolate Fudge. Get to the window and I'm just sitting there and sitting there and yes sitting there so I Juan to let them know that I'm there because they're engaged in a conversation not pay me any mind. So after do so a Spanish young lady who was the manager was like what is she waiting on other female told her my drinks I get my drinks and instead of a mocha frappe I get a caramel frappe. So now that causes me to look at my receipt again just to make sure that I wasn't mistaken and sure enough my receipt said a mocha frappe I told the girl it was wrong she looked at me took the drink back remade it I don't know what was going on but now I'm waiting again while they are engaging in another long conversation. So at this time I decided to pull out my phone and start taking pictures and that's when I got both of the attention and it seem to speed up on them getting me my drink. I get home and settle down go to take a sip and long and behold it chocolate ice water. I had to get back dress to go back. Get to the window after waiting in line asks the young man for the Manager and I already knew it was gonna be the young Spanish girl. Clearly she didn't know what she was doing both of my drinks came up to $8.16 she gave me $3.79 and then I asked her where is the taxes she looked at me confused. I told her look at my receipt which I gave her from the start. I said shouldn't it be $4.08 she looked confused again took the change back went in her pocket and gave me a $1 and I was like i'm not even worried about .08. I'm writing this to say less talking when you have a Customer waiting and more working you can talk about whatever you need to after your done taking care of orders. I waiting 15mis for what. Depending on what time you go for drivethru the line can be backed up. But they are the fastest among the Wendy's, Taco Bell, and BurgerKing. There is plenty of parking and lots of space if you eat inside. Looks like different workers here because a lot of different faces when I order. Clean establishment. The usual food you know of already. But this location has several people who should not serve. The accent is so strong that you cannot clearly understand what they're saying. So you continue to ask them the repeated and they get frustrated and then they're frustrating the customers. Possibly one of the issues is when you're speaking with each other they speaking in native tongue. When they should be practicing their English with each other. My biggest complaint is the fries. I don't know if there is an issue with the grease or that they make too many fries in advance but my fries are never hot and fresh and don't taste too good. read more
