On my way back from GVH, this WAWA is a convenient "midway point" at least for the route I chose got gas, and last week got some OJ to combat a low blood sugar (they had a 2 for $3 deal on 12 ounce Tropicana bottles). This is the newest WAWA in the area...that I know of anyway. Convenient location nice, addition to the immediate area...especially since the Lukoil across the street and the Valero at the corner of Church and 309 both went out. A lot nicer than the Mobil that used to be on this site as well!

Professional, conscientious expert service for Pennsylvania safety and emission inspections. My…read moreinsurance agent recommended Spanial's and I could not have been more pleased with the service and prices. These things specifically stood out for me as positives: - The web site is thorough and well-organized - The company is family owned and run and has been in business for over 30 years (businesses like that cannot afford to sacrifice long-term reputation for short term gain, and typically cannot stay in business if they're not honestly and competently run in the first place.) - When I called to make an appointment the person who took my call was polite and helpful, spoke clearly, gave me scheduling options and was able to get me in within about 3 or 4 days. - When I dropped my car off I got a free ride to work, and was offered a free ride to pick up the car later in the day. - The building and grounds are clean and well-maintained. - The waiting area is impeccable: clean, well-lit, no dust or grease anywhere, comfortable and all said just thoroughly professional - more like visiting a good doctor's office than a service station. - My inspection was done on time as promised. - My car needed its rear tires replaced, and when Spanial's called they had already priced several options. - The tire options I was offered were quoted in "as payed" terms rather than "cost per item" terms so I could make a decision without having to guess about how much taxes and service would add to the actual bill. - The quotes I was given included manufacturer's rebates that I would not otherwise have known about. - I was given a total estimate before the work was ordered and completed that matched what I actually had to pay to the dollar. - The tire and part prices were great. - The service prices (labor) were good. - There was a cash rebate that Spanial's mentioned to me but did not subtract from the estimate. This is a little item that speaks to the general integrity and solidity of the company's business practices: many vendors of merchandise will quote you a total after rebate, which is accurate enough from an accounting perspective but misleading and slightly irritating otherwise. Spanial's quoted me the dollar amount I had to pay, period, so the total due was not a surprise. The rebate, when it arrives, will be more like a bonus. - The company filed the rebate paperwork for me so I have nothing to do but wait for the rebate to arrive in the mail. - The manager took the time to explain to me how safety/emission inspections work in Pennsylvania, something I needed to know since I am a new resident here. - Everyone I spoke to or with was personable, upbeat and positive. The whole thing was like a textbook case of good process and service management.

Today was my first time stopping in here and today will be my last. They are some of the biggest…read moreripoffs I have experienced at a store, here is what went down. Around 1:30-2, my Mom and I stopped here as we needed to fill up on gas while going to Montgomeryville (and this was the closest station). While my Mom filled up on gas, I went into the store and bought us a couple of drinks which was a Rosenbergers Chocolate Milk and a Pure Leaf Peach Tea. The associate behind the counter rung them up and it came out to $5.68, which I found odd but I didn't question it and I left. When I told my Mom, she wasn't having any of it. She went in and price checked the items (both of which were $1.99 which seems pricey in itself) and she approached the same associate about it. The associate tried to tell my Mom that the price of the chocolate milk was $2.99, the same as the bigger sized chocolate milk. After some dispute my Mom and the associate went back where another associate price checked my item and confirmed it was $2.99. Even now, the employee was giving my Mom hassel as now he was claiming he didn't know how to refund the money and said (I kid you not) "I don't know how to do that, do you want to donate a dollar to the store?" Firstly, no. It was more than a dollar and we want our money back which we were owed! So my Mom put her foot down and we got our change back, before turning and leaving for good. I have passed this gas station for years but I never thought this would be my only experience with it. It is a shame because there is nothing wrong with the gas or the products, but the prices, crappy location and associates will definitely keep us away. You're better off going to the Wawa down the street!
