Instead of simply addressing whether the prescription could be filled, I received a phone call with what I felt were excessive and unreasonable questions about my prescriptions and medical treatment. Unfortunately, this isn't my first experience like this with Walgreens. I previously had a similar problem at the Walgreens on Main ave CLifton, NJ. It felt as though every possible obstacle was being created to avoid filling a legitimate prescription rather than trying to help a patient who was in significant pain. The entire experience left me extremely uncomfortable and frustrated with how these pharmacies handle certain medications., TO TOP THIS OFF, THEY DID NOT GIVE ME MY MEDICATIONS. I also have serious concerns about why patients are being put through this process and believe Walgreens management should review these practices closely. I am not accusing any particular employee of wrongdoing without evidence, but the experience was concerning enough that I believe the handling and accountability surrounding these medications deserves scrutiny. Based on my experiences, I would strongly recommend considering another pharmacy.
