This wawa has been around for as long as I can remember..no gas just a plain ol wawa with updates. Parking lot is a total nightmare at certain times. Staff are pleasant and helpful. It is clean but very small. Basically you bump into other customers moving around. Lol. Since it's such a small wawa everything is crammed into this little store. Best to find a perfect time to go when their are no school buses moving around and traffic is low. Located in south brunswick on 5 corners. Only wawa in town and gets very busy. read more

Tucked away a stone's throw from Route 130 this old school location (no gas) offers in and out convenience and had all coffee urns running full blast without having to guess which one would spike my cup with the lukewarm remnants of a spent soldier. So sad to see the full plexiglass treatment in front of the cashiers, a truly necessary but depressing sign of the times. As always, Wawa comes through. read more

While I generally like Wawa I just don't understand how cold brew coffee can have a burnt taste. I usually get the iced coffee because I've had this burnt taste in their cold brew before. I opted for the cold brew again today and once again, it tastes burnt. I don't know if it was the associate who doesn't understand the difference between iced coffee and cold brew coffee. This tastes more like a burnt pot of hot coffee that's been chilled down for iced coffee. It's annoying when you spend $4 Plus for burnt cold brew. read more

This Wawa has been slinging hoagies since I was a wee lad. The food (fresh or pre-prepared) are as good as any Wawa. It's definitely showing its age on the exterior, and the location can be tricky to get in and out of (traffic has increased since my youth). read more

i go here so often that they know what i am ordering when they see me. i like the people who work here. They have their qerks, but really nice and helpful. The cashers are friendly and talkative. All the prepared food i have ordered here is great. I have had sandwiches and their food bowls. The food is prepared fresh and quick. I have had to wait at most 10 minute but usually only 5 minutes. When I'm really short for time to go back to work, I pull from their already prepared food in the fridge. The coffee is not always fresh in the afternoon, but in the morning it is because of the turnover from everyone buying coffee for the morning rush. I haven't had luck getting fresh donuts. Its hit or miss. Best to go to dunkin for that. One thing to consider, if your used to the mega Wawa's this is not that big. So the parking can be tight when busy. read more

Your typical neigborhood WaWa. For some reason, I've been living in South Brunswick for over 10 years, and only these past few weeks went here for some food. It's located in Dayton across from La Taverna. It's open 24/7 (except on holidays), and is bright and clean on the inside. Although small, it has a wide selection of basically everything you'd need from a convenience store, from 2 entire walls of refrigerated drinks to a little rack of 5-hour energy. The staff is pretty nice: not too friendly, but definitely not rude. There's cold, packed meals on your left when you first walk in. It has cold pre-made sandwiches, different types of fruit and mini-cheese platters. In the center back is a small case of doughnuts and baked goods (which look pretty good), and in the very back are some drink machines (coffee and those self-blended frostees I think). The hot food is on the right wall. You place your order on the small screens, and then wait for the people behind the counter to make it. There are a lot of options, from hot subs to cold sandwiches, fresh rolls and sides. The subs come in different sizes too, so you can get a junior 4-inch to a foot-long and a few sizes in between. I really enjoy the side mac&cheese, so I definitely recommend it. The small size is about the size of an actual side you would get at a restaurant, so I can only imagine how big the larger portions are. All in all, decent, very quickly made food in generous portions and low prices. Your usual quick-stop hot foods convenience store, with a ton of snacks, drinks and other convenience items. read more

$1.66 for a extra large coffee!!!! You can't beat that anywhere. And it taste good too.....it's better (IMO) then Quick Check, 7-11. Hoagies are good too.....even better during Hoagie Fest! Wawa as a company has been going downhill. I use to be a happy wawa customer. I'm sure the company has struggled with growing pains because they certainly did grow at a rapid pace. Like most big businesses the bottom line is money and profits. It seems as though they took the heart out of their employees. No longer do employees greet you with a smile. As a matter of fact no greeting at all. Some times it's hard to get service. I've had my order messed up so many times that I've complained to store managers and even called customer service. They're attitude is we'll give you a sandwich or a gift card. The bottom line is wawa is now a big business that cares about profits more than their customers.the main thing they have to offer is convenience. In and out.but to the customer that convenience comes with a huge price tag. For the price of a soup and sandwich or a soup and salad you could have went to a dinner and sat down to a hot meal. Bottom line is if money is the most important thing, you treat your employees like shit, your employees aren't happy and treat the customers poorly, you lose customers and the long hard climb up hill turns into a fast ride downhill . At one time I went to wawa everyday on my way to work, bought coffee, something for breakfast and something to bring to work for lunch. I even filled my cars up with gas there. Then I realized that I was spending $7,000.00 per year for junk food and a shit attitude from unhappy employees. In 5 years that will be $35,000.00 and I'm only one customer. Think about it wawa. This is your normal typical Wawa. The staff is pretty nice and the store is always well stocked. There does tend to be a local crowd of teenagers that seem to converge here on warmer nights. For a newer and larger Wawa with a gas station, there is one about 2 miles away on Cranberry-South River Road. read more

What's it gonna take for Wawa to expand their market into Greater Boston? I remember when they built this Wawa. At the time, all we had was Butler's General Store and a Krauszers. (No actual supermarkets!) Wawa is the best!! Their soda fountain prices are cheaper than most places, and their unsweetened iced tea is good! This is a nostalgic review of Wawa for me. I used to work across the street at the AT&T Network Operations Center overnight. This Wawa provided me plenty of coffee and heat lamp breakfast sammiches. I'm not a happy Wawa customer today. I was at the local Dayton Wawa and experienced several young employees, probably late teens, early 20's taunting a special needs adult employee. There were 3 or 4 young men behind the deli counter when an employee with special needs walked in. One young man loudly asked the special needs employee "So, did you get that girl that you like to like you?" The man answered, "No." The young man then proceeded to ask loudly "So, what was her name?" To which the other employee answered, "I don't know." To which the young man kept going and said loudly to his friends, "Oh, so her name is I don't know, huh??" And began to laugh with his friends. When I brought it up to the manager, she dismissed me by saying they were "playing." I told her that it isn't "Playing", but taunting - and she again dismissed me. I went back to work and thought about calling corporate, but unfortunately my day was quickly filled with classes and an after school rehearsal. Do not go to this one. At least if you have more than one order. My boyfriend and I have come multiple times and they keep getting the order wrong. I have checked the receipt after which says the correct order but they keep mixing the toppings up. It's worth the drive to go to jamesburge and get better service.
