I grew up within a 1/2 block walking distance to this Wawa so it is forever my all-time fav. They've cleaned it up a lot since the mid-90s when I walked past it everyday to get to high school, but that same Wawa dumpster stench still exists when you walk down Chestnut past the back alley...I would know that smell even in my grave, how does a dumpster's scent NEVER CHANGE? But inside the Wawa are crazy people who always change; I've never encountered a rude person in the 20+ years I lived there. The sandwiches and coffee are always fresh and I've never had a cold or sludgy cup. It's reliably good. The workers are always bantering with the regulars which I like, and I feel like the cashier - no matter who it is - gives me my change in a voice much louder than necessary but I guess that's the jersey-way. Really, when I go there it always feels like I'm walking into a store of ball-busters, which gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. And I always inevitably run into someone I know or don't want to see, which also kind of makes it a funny place to stumble into. The parking lot IS THE MOST DANGEROUS PLACE in all of South Jersey but it also requires stealth moves and superior driving skills which is also what makes this Wawa rule. Smart people don't park in the parking lot at all; they park on the side street (free) or at the bank which is right next door. It will take you longer to get in and out of the parking lot (probably with a dent in your fender) than it does to not be an idiot and park in one of the aformentioned places that are easy to access. But I know how lazy you are around here, too, and so I understand that you can't understand the value in walking an extra 30 feet to avoid navigating a lot so frustrating it'll ruin the rest of your day. And that's why you will die sooner than you should. read more

The parking lot is totally crazy dangerous - prior reviewers are correct! It's actually quite amusing to see people go all sorts of nuts in the parking lot after getting their goods from Wawa. Maybe it's something in the coffee. The folks at this particular Wawa have always been quite helpful and sweet to me, even when I totally messed up my custom order and somehow ordered myself a roll with four slices of melted cheddar cheese on it, heated up. It looked like a glazed orange pancake once it was done. In fact, not only did they not laugh at me, but instead they showed the sandwich to one another and said, "I never would have thought to do it this way but it looks really tasty!" They then showed me how to order a toasted bagel with melted cheddar cheese, correctly. Score. read more

My go to Wawa. Well stocked and you can gas up. Interesting clientele ranging from upscale to the homeless. Staff ranges from very friendly and helpful to distracted and zoned out. Parking lot can be a bit of a free for all if you hit it at peak hours. read more

I mean, it's Wawa. You know what you're getting. A few things that I am not too keen of from this particular location: 1. The employees take their smoke breaks right out front, near the entrances. I don't , or shouldn't have to see you smoking. I know there's a back exit that would be more professional place to smoke, no? also, I don't like the idea of someone who just smoked going in to make me a sandwich, even if you do wash your hands. 2. I believe every wawa does this, so this is a general wawa thing and not just this location.. WHY do you throw away SO much food that is clearly not "bad?!" An eight hour donut is still a donut. The packaged salads are still good, even if it's a few days. Same with the wraps, etc. I get that you need to rotate your product, but why can't/ don't you donate that good food to a homeless shelter? Literally thousands of people starving everyday, and you just trash pounds and pounds of food. Kind of disgraceful, no? Again, it's wawa. They're all exactly the same. read more

The parking lot design is atrocious. Good luck making a left out of the parking lot onto the White Horse Pike. The store itself on my visit on 1/17/15 was dirty. There were actually little bugs flying around the coffee station, and the floor was filthy...sweetner packets and other trash on the mats. Won't be back if I can avoid it. read more

I love this Wawa! It's always clean, and everybody is no nice (especially Rich from the deli).

Clean and efficient. Easy to get to. Problem is stupid people afraid to pullout on to rt. 168.....Just drive people! Oh and Justin the gas attendant is a major hottie!!!!!! read more
