They always do a decent job cleaning my car, but they talked me into getting the "Bug Buster" treatment for $90 bucks. It's to help reduce the effects of love bugs on the front of your vehicle. DON'T BOTHER! After treatment, the bugs don't come off any easier. I went back to see if I did something wrong and was told I should have scrubbed them off a day earlier...in the middle of a torrential rain....right! Thanks for nothing! read more

We have used Waves for years, but recently, they have adopted a stance of scary your-paint-will-be-ruined-unlesss-you-spend-twice- as-much. Car is dirty, but not really very bad. We keep it waxed and washed even though it sits outisde. Pull in and ask for the standard wash ("the Works") Sir, you need a special hand-acid-wash before your paint is destroyed. Just the standard wash, thanks Sir, your have to have the special, expensive wash Just the standard wash, please I don't know if we can even run your car through our wash line I just want the standard wash Sir, that won't get your car clean You convinced me. I'll go to Classic right up the road. I've had this conversation twice in the past two weeks. And when I paid, I noticed they added another $4 to the advertised price..."heavy bug presence", which was untrue. There was not a single bug. They just ripped me off. We used to like this place. No more. BTW, when you go to the other car wash, Classic, you'll notice longer lines and longer wait times. That should tell you what you need to know. Classic does a much better job. And they don't lie about things either. read more

Jan 2 2022...drove in there early morning and even so there were a good amount of cars on line. I paid for full service and waited 15-20 min before getting near the entrance to the car wash. I had ticket # 121 and then noticed they were not putting cars in the wash line in order. I saw #122 go in before me and worse...I saw # 126 get put in from the exterior only line. I voiced my complaint to the person in charge of the area where the lines are. He said that 126 was put in because he was from the ext. only line and had no explanation why cars were not put into the wash in order. So, a guy that comes 15 min after me and spends less than I do gets out quicker? ! NOT ACCEPTABLE ! read more

After needing to drive on one of Vero Beach's many unpaved roads my Suburban had some chalky white road residue on the sides - nothing ridiculous, but the result of puddle splashes. Took her to Waves for a Deluxe wash ($14.95 + $2 oversized charge). After going through their wash and a wipe down by several employees I was told she was done. Dirt still on the sides like she had before I brought her in. When I pointed it out to the employees they acted like they had never seen it before. "Wow" and "Is that paint?" I said no, it was simply dirt from the unpaved roads and they couldn't get it off?" I even rubbed some off with my fingernail. I was told no, that is too difficult. Why would I take my vehicles to a supposed higher end car wash if you can't even get some common road grime off the side? It isn't like I took it mudding! Photo attached.... I'm surprised at the lack of desire to satisfy the customer and leave with a clean car. Will be looking for a new car wash... read more

I have to be honest the first time we came to this location I wasn't satisfied, they had my car for hours and when I got back it seemed as though they only had it for 10min. They had to completely re-do the interior of my vehicle.... the manager responded with asking for me to come back and give them another chance, so I did and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed! My car looked and smelled amazing! I couldn't have been happier. They were accommodating and friendly! I'll absolutely be back!! read more

Giving 1 star due to my encounter today. Normally the guys who actually detail and clean the vehicle are friendly and nice, usually have to touch up when I get home (even after $100 detail) but after today, won't go back. Brought truck in to wash as I did 3 weeks prior, not too dirty just needed a quick one. Requested $20 wash and was asked by man working if I wanted to spend $5-10 extra for wheel wells to be cleaned because "the normal wash won't clean it properly". Was quoted it'd be an extra 45mins. I explained I wasn't told I needed this 3 weeks prior (or anytime prior to that) and truck was in same condition, was curious why I'd need it now? He explained that "idk how they did their business, but this is how I do mine"... Called boyfriend whos vehicle it is and asked what he wanted, he opted for no, just a quick wash. Told the man and he wasn't taking a "no". I explained it wasn't my truck, didn't want it done and didn't want to wait an extra hour. He proceeded to tell me "well it won't be an hour"...I told him he just quoted me at 45 mins, what's an extra 15? Just didn't prefer to wait. This man told me he wasn't sure if I woke up in a bad mood this morning or what but he was just telling me it wouldn't be cleaned....um ok? Would my boyfriend have been told that if it were him instead of me bringing the truck in? Man began to insinuate that if I didn't pay the extra, the dirt and mud would fly off onto the other vehicles (it's a car wash) making it seem as if I had no choice but to pay it, when I opted out to begin with when he ASKED. Eventually I left, did not have truck washed there. Went to the automatic one off 12th street. I won't be back at waves. The half decent wash isn't worth my time with the rude receiving staff. read more

I was offered a free car wash during my birthday month. Due to travel with my job and being out of town, I could not go to the car wash to get my free wash until "the" last day of my birthday month. When I arrived, the car wash was closed up at 4:00 in the afternoon (due to rain). I called the mgr the next day to ask if he would still honor the free car wash since it was raining when I came up there (still within the month of my b'day). First I spoke with a rude female who answered the phone and lectured me about how I could have come anytime during the month. Well I was out of town on business and could not, AND I did still attempt to come on the last day of the month which was still within my bday month. I was finally patched thru to the mgr. He was unwilling to honor the car wash. It was not my fault it rained, and they were closed... and he stressed it wasn't his fault either and if he gave me a rain-delay car wash he'd have to give it to everyone. Well, that might be a good practice to retain business. This place will not have me as a customer and by not exhibiting good customer service practices, in the end, they lose. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went to Waves Auto Spa and had a pretty mediocre experience the first time around, however, I am one that takes pride in giving small businesses my business, so I went back and gave Waves another shot. Regretfully... I am very frustrated with the quality of service, for the price I paid. My back window was not cleaned... AT ALL. The other windows were done extremely poorly (streaks everywhere). The interior was not wiped down (still dusty). When you have to detail your own car after it just came from a wash and detail, that's a problem... I cannot recommend Waves. read more

I've been coming here since 2016, truly is the best car wash in Vero!! The staff works very hard. I'm impressed everytime!!! Thank you guys!! read more

I was super happy with the staff and the wash. I almost didn't go because of some of the previous reviews but I'm glad I did! The line of cars was very long but moved pretty quickly and we encountered no one that was rude. We actually had a good time joking with one of the guys over our football teams! We would definitely recommend s place! read more

Bought a 'pack' of 'The Works'. Considering the price, the cleaning is not particularly good. I found I consistently had to follow up with my own vacuuming and dusting of the interior. The staff is very friendly, but being forced to watch Fox News is a major turn-off. People should keep politics and religion away from the public in a service-based industry. I won't be returning. read more

So disappointed to have spent 22$. It looks like the inside of the car was not touched. I had to go buy wipes and do it myself. The wheels were also barely cleaned and there were water spots everywhere. I understand it is really hot outside but this is not acceptable. Not returning. read more

Tried this place for the first time and was very disappointed. I wash my car twice a week, so it is never really dirty. When the car was finished, they had let the car dry in the sun, so lots of spots. They didn't even wipe down the dash. Won't be going back. read more

Seriously lacking when it comes to wiping down the inside of the car!!! I had to re clean the inside when I got home. I used to like this place a few years back, but quality of work continues to get worse. read more

I hate waves. I can assure you I personally won't be going back. As well as all my family members and close friends. The first time I got my car washed here, a bag full of coins with $20+ was stolen, I planned on taking it to the coin machine after the wash which is why I noticed so soon after I got my car back. They proceeded to give me a 25$ gift card. Today, I got my car washed here again. My boyfriend offered so I accepted. He paid for the "ultimate" option which is around 35$. I was pleased at first when I opened the car to a fresh smell and shiny dash. That's it though. When I opened the back seat door I found that they hadn't even touched the back seat whatsoever. There was still sand/dirt on the seats. When I approached one of the workers about it they said the back seat was an extra 10$. First of all, I drive a SMALL sedan, and since when do I have to pay separately for the backseat of my car to get cleaned?? IT IS ONE CAR. When I looked closer at the front seats, I could tell then also were not cleaned just quickly wiped down to make them look shiny with dirt still on them. read more

Waves Auto Spa - After the "ultimate" car wash. Back sea untouched. - Car Wash Near Me - Vero Beach, Florida

Brought my stock m2 bmw to be washed they vacuumed sprayed cleaner on the hood and brought it through the line to be washed. During that time I walked inside and payed $35 for the was walked out and was told my car was to low and they had to hand wash which would be $37 so walked back inside to pay the difference, lady said they would cancel the first fee and charge the card for the hand wash which I didn't understand why they didn't just charge my card the extra $2, waited an hour and a half to get my car when I only came for a quick 15 min in and out deal, car had smudges and wasn't washed properly, 3 weeks later and my card still had the double payment and no refund so I paid $70ish bucks for a crap car wash I would not recommend at all. I could call my card company and dispute the charge but that would only inconvenience me further and be without a debit card for 7 more days. Not a great way to do business with locals. read more

First time ever leaving a review for anything. I've used this company several times. They don't always do a poor job, the majority of the time I'm disappointed. Most of the time they're rude. A couple of weeks ago I paid them to clean the outside, vacuum and clean three rows. They never touched the third row, my rims weren't cleaned properly, and they used some kind of wax or sealant to clean my driver side interior window. I've spent hours trying to clean and scrap it off. I will never return for their services. read more

I paid $125 (plus tips) to detail, wax, and buff my suv. The job took four hours and they didn't even vacuum my trunk or clean my door wells. My car had a terrible odor for days. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, it was sitting in their parking lot unattended with the driver's side door open. I was inside my car (cleaning my own door well) for a few minutes before anyone seemed to notice. I will not be back. read more

I've always had a good experience with this car wash but especially the last time I went there. I had a couple small dents on my driver's door and many surface scratches on the hood of my car. I also wanted the car waxed. The result was my car came out looking better than new! Walt did the dent removal and rubbed out the car to remove the scratches and he did a superb job. It was obvious he knew what he was doing and I greatly appreciated his professional demeanor and his expertise. I would recommend Walt and this car wash to anyone. However, this place is always busy so be prepared to wait or leave your car if you want more than just a car wash. read more

2nd time here both times rude when you check in it seems if your a regular you are treated very different I got the ultimate no time length was given. I was asked you want a hand wax it would take the same amount of time I said no. It's now over an hour I have asked two men how much longer one man never came back the 2nd man walked pasted me and I had to ask again. Oh maybe 15 minutes more I don't mind waiting but it would be great to let you know we are backed up very Un organized. I guess the regulars will keep them afloat. I went there for their express wash and when I pulled away I noticed in my rearview mirror that a plastic piece on the passenger side of my door was broken. Worst Car Wash Service EVER!! THEY RUINED MY WIFE'S BRAND NEW MUSTANG RIMS. Took it through the exterior wash only and the guy driving it had to have "cut the corner" too tightly to enter the wheels into the metal guide barrier (which is ONLY on the left side) like all car washes. My wife's new car rims cost over $599 each. By not aligning the car in the guides, and just "whipping it" though the guides quickly without any care or concern he spun the alloy wheels along side the metal guides causing ALL KINDS OF DENTS AND GOUGES in my wife's new car rims. Do you think WAVES Auto Spa will pay for this damage? In your dreams. I will never use them again. Please take a look at the photos of the damage they did to her car. It tells a thousand words. The kind of people working there must not care at all. From all the bad reviews you can ADD this one too. Although I cannot tell YOU not to use them....My personal opinion is they are the WORST Car Wash I have ever been to, and I won't use them ever again unless they fully replace my wife's expensive rim. Thus I will NEVER take this post down. read more

My car was not cleaned good at this facility. Bugs still on the front of the car and potato chips crumbs on the carpet in the front.

Detail job was flawless. Car now looks new again. Staff very pleasant. Waiting room clean and comfortable. I will happily return.

Not worthy of a 1 star rating and expensive $20+. The finishing process was slow so you would think that they're doing a good job inside and out but that's not the case. When they said my car was ready I had to politely point out water spots and bug guts that hadn't been addressed. They didn't like having to spend more time on the car. When I got in the car it was clear they hadn't touched it so again I had to ask them to address it. When the guy sat in the car with his rag clearly annoyed he told me that they were only supposed to wipe the dashboard and clean the cupholders nothing else. I've had better car washes for far less money! read more

First visit not good. You drive up - pick a lane - no direction by anyone, at least while I was there. Guy in this area was flustered, annoyed - ignored everyone till he was ready to ask what service you want. After car goes through wash it's taken to wipe-down area. Very unorganized here. Several people walked by my car, wiped and walked away. The "wiper Mgr"(?) calls my car model out - car is done. A back window has what appears to me to be bird c**p on it. I point it out and "wiper Mgr" says very obnoxiously while wiping "look, your car needs a wax job - it's covered in pollen". It wasn't covered in anything but it did have a few dirty marks on it. Car is 10 months old - we're not talking old paint here. And what about the wash, body shield and wipe-down it just got??? Wouldn't it have to be clean prior to waxing? A couple of very unprofessional people encountered - except the cashier - she was both professional and nice. I don't think I'll be back to this place again. read more

If I could give this car wash zero stars I would. I've never been through a car wash that left as much easy to remove dirt on the vehicle as this one. Staff said basically that's what you get for 22 bucks. Then I told them the car wash by my house gets my car much cleaner for $16. Their reply was where do you live? I said Fort Lauderdale and they suggested that I use my car wash in Fort Lauderdale. This Manager obviously lacks business skills and the ability to deal with customers. I'm sure if the owner knew he would be let go. There are several other car washes within a mile or so of this one. I would highly recommend trying them. read more

Waves Auto Spa is the best car wash in Vero Beach. Detailing is outstanding. Staff is friendly and welcoming. We will be back!

Worst car wash. I've given them three shots now and have to say they do the worst job of any car wash I've ever been too. Each time I've purchased the $30 tropical wash, they say it includes a dash wipe down and interior vacuuming. However, my car comes back with crap still stuck all over the front of the car and back of mirrors. The first time I asked them to take it back through the wash, then they sat on it and made me wait for about 20 minutes and it still wasn't completely clean. The next time I went it wasn't clean on the grill so I asked them to hand clean it and they did. Last Friday when I went I asked the employee at the beginning witch wash would get the bug residue off the car and clean the interior. He told me the tropical wash, so I said ok. The car comes out with bug residue still stuck on the front bumper and back of mirrors. The attendant says it's been on there to long and won't come off. Some of it was loose stuff that would come off if scrubbed so I asked him to take his sponge and scrub it. He did and got some of it off. Then I open the drivers door and immediately see that the floor isn't clean along the door and front edge of the mat. I point it out and instead of getting a vacuum he just tries brushing it out with a rag, doesn't completely work. Then I get in and notice the dash around the speedometer is still covered in dust. Then they tell me I need to leave because other cars can't get out. So I start to pull out and see the guy who sold me the wash come out so I roll down and show him the dirty area of the dash. He tells me that wiping that down isn't included only the dashboard. I say that's part of the dashboard and he says no it's not only the top! The front desk clerk is the only one there with a good attitude and nice customer interaction. Otherwise, this place has terrible service. I would suggest steering clear of this place. read more
