The items they sell like mini surf boards with names, dog tags with names, stickers, all have their inventory # permanently printed on the front of the item. So a name surfboard with have "George" and then a 189 printed on it permanently. I've never seen it before. So your soveneer will have a random number printed on it forever. I put them back. I did buy a t shirt and sticker. No bag. If u want a paper bag it's. 25. No and thank you. I live here and won't bring any visitors to this store. read more

Fun store , I went in for a hat after lunch Next door and found some really cool stuff. They have a great selection of hats and clothing. The prices are pretty decent , the staff was awesome, my son even found a motorcycle souvenir. It makes cool sounds and lights up, he loves it . read more

This is an awesome gift shop near the Harbor! They have every "Oceanside" clothing you could want, magnets, mugs, cups, and other "Oceanside" souvenirs. The woman working inside is super nice, too! 100% recommend checking this store out. read more

Went in to grab some souvenirs for my 4 friends and myself because we were attending the no kings protest and we were cold. The kid working with dark hair and pierced gauges in his ears was so rude and came out to my car and told me I could not park in the handicap spot other parking garage. I have a legal handicap parking place card and he had no right to ask me to not park there! He made assumptions about me being a protester and not a customer and said I could not park in handicap spot in their building. I asked him how he knew I wasn't planning to shop in his store. He stated because you are working on a protest sign. (Which I was but I was taking a moment prior to going in the shop.) I guess he was stressed because it was a protest day, but due to his rudeness I decided to leave and not shop in the store. I was attending the protest but I had also stopped there with the intention of getting a sweatshirt to wear for myself and my friends. Don't shop here! We don't need to support judgmental and rude business owners!! There are plenty of other local businesses that don't harass their customers! This place is definitely a gift shop for the harbor. There is also a Wave Original in Carlsbad with very similar items. You can get all the usual suspects: shot glasses, t shirts sweatshirts, magnets cheesy toys and candy with Oceanside printed on the packaging. Some items are descent quality, others are pretty cheap. If you're looking to stock up on small items for friends after your visit this place has it all. I'd skip it for beach supplies unless you're desperate (it's a bit expensive). Usually only one person working the counter but I haven't experienced a big line. Check it out for these reasons, it fills the souvenir void in your trip for sure. read more

Wave Original is our favorite shop in Oceanside! Every time we're visiting we stop and get a new sweater. Dalton Kirby is our guy!! Every time we go in there he goes above and beyond for us. Last time my son found a sweater he really wanted and we couldn't find the size Dalton Search the racks until he found he last one. Today he helped my son decide between two sweaters. His customer service is outstanding. He always goes out of the way to help.. We really appreciate him and everything he does for us while were in your store.. Bought two tshirts and a hoodie while visiting Oceanside in late July. Six weeks later, the design is already peeling on one shirt, and the design on the back of the hoodie is messed up as well. They had a ton of great designs but I wouldn't purchase from them again based on this experience. read more

One evening it was chilly and I was waiting for my friend so i ended up in your gift shop looking for a sweater. I thought the huge selection of sweaters to pick from was awesome. I would NOT recommend this place. The owner treats vendors like dirt and doesn't pay his bills. I personally was a vendor and provided $120 worth of magnets to him and he refused to pay me. There are plenty of other great gift stores both in the Oceanside harbor and on Mission street. I recommend using some other gift store. read more

This place is awesome! I stopped by with my family to buy some sweatshirts and the service we received from Dalton was outstanding!! I'm a very picky person when it comes to clothes and he went above and beyond to help us find exactly what I was looking for. Oh and the prices were very affordable and reasonable. I went into this store the middle of last month and I was greeted by this man by the name of Dalton in Oceanside store. First of all I love the fact that the whole store is covered in sweat shirts and that they are greatly priced. When I went in there Dalton was very accommodating and showed me to every thing I was looking for. He has great customer service and who i feel went above and beyond his job description. He is a great asset to the company and definitely some where I would come back to in the future because of him. read more

I've been a customer of this oceanside store for some time now. I noticed the manager the other day yelling at his employee in front of me and other customers. I love this store but I no longer feel comfortable shopping here. The manager has treated me and other customers with disrespect. It's sad because I really like this store it has a lot of really cool items to buy. It's sad seeing hard working people being yelled at when the manager doesnt seem to be doing his job. Been there done that. Hope things change because I won't be going here anymore its stressful shopping here when you walk in and can feel the tension. I talked to some other people that work in the harbor area and even they agreed that the manager has a bad attitude and isnt very friendly. They agreed and even admitted they felt sorry for the people working there and wouldnt be working there themselves, let alone shopping there while he is in the store because of discomfort with the environment. read more
