Yes, occasionally there is a teenager (who is trying to learn), but if I need more help, there is always someone with experience. I might need to wait a few minutes to talk to that person, but it is always worth it. They often offer to order what I need if it is not in stock. Recently, one of the employees explained how to replace the cartridge in one of my faucets and open a box to show me the parts. While you may see this as a very simple task, for me it was huge. I could do this myself instead of calling a plumber. While the prices are sometimes a bit higher than the box stores, I don't have to drive, I know there will be someone to help, and I walk out with what I need and more knowledge.

The staff was young at the registers and undoubtedly inexperienced as far as hardware items go, but it was a quick visit in and out so I had no issues. I would agree with the last review, one would think in a small town type hardware store, the attitudes would be more upbeat and friendly. If I wanted unknowledgable teenage staff I could go to any big box store. I tooled around the store, it seemed fair on some things, more pricey on others. Overall, it was worth coming back if I needed to.

I made a purchase and was leaving when this lady chased me down and told me that they dont open untill 10. "Dont come in earlier". Wow! I'll still buy stuff from my friend but that's it.
