We rented two of the cabins and the amount of space inside was perfect for this family of 4! Each kid got their own loft, we had a bed with wonderful space. The number of things to do while there was perfect for the ADHD kids and the ability to sit and watch them do ALL THE THINGS was perfect for this tired momma! We played mini-golf at 6:45 am, horseshoes at 6:54 am, and playground at 7 am to just start all over again (multiple times)! Definitely plan your drinking schedule with the fact that the bathroom is not in the cabin but still close! We had s'mores on the fire pit and two nights of BBQ! We even swam in the lake and the kids LOVED the inflatables (even the 40-year-old fat dudes got out there). The owners were incredible and friendly. Really can see that they care and have built a wonderful community. We will be back!

Then when it came time for ice cream, they were out of vanilla and Chocolate :( and no frozen pizza in freezer to go and bake. Stores are not close! As for the inflatable lake toy's they were pretty deflated! and there was no way to get in the water trampoline! Also cabin on hill needs a deep cleaning. Fan was too dusty to turn on. Good points grandsons caught a lot of fish! pool was kind of warm. pool bathrooms were warm and clean. Beach area was clean :)

Speed limit is 5 mph, and their own employees are some of the biggest offenders of breaking that. Grass wasn't cut before the weekend started and dog poop throughout our site before we even arrived? And now with a lake home only a few minutes away, while I don't need to visit, I still do at times just to take in the memories. It checks off all the boxes-water, beach, walking trails, camping, concessions, and fishing spots. The Kettle Moraine started with the purchase of land surrounding the lake and it does a great job representing. My family and I have never been to a campground before and stayed in the Blue Lagoon cottage on the resort. It was clean, beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed. We had no idea what to expect but the staff was very helpful and fun. Friday, we went mini golfing, which was a blast and easy to figure out, hung out by the lake in the evening, and walked the grounds to check the place out. We also found the arcade with the two kids (8 years old) and it was reasonably priced and fun! At night it was nice and quiet too. Saturday, we checked out the pool, and the kids were able to play while the adults also checked out the adults only pool. There is a swim up bar which was very convenient. Afterwards, we decided to order some pizza from their store which they delivered to us and I'm not kidding, it was DELICIOUS! My son even said, "this is my favorite pizza ever". We then packed everyone up to head to the lake where we spent hours there. As a mom, I always worry about the kids in the water, but this set up was incredible. It's shallow and my 8-year-old could walk all the way to the blow-up obstacle course without going under. The lake was their favorite part of the whole weekend as well. That night they were having their "Holiday do over weekend". So, there was a band, countdown to the new year, and Mardi gras theme, decorations, etc. The music was amazing and the kids LOVED it! We finished the night off with a bonfire and could not have asked for a better weekend. My family will remember this weekend forever and we cannot WAIT to return!!!
