When I discovered mold at my place I wasn't sure what to do. My thoughts initially were to find…read moresomeone to do a carpet replacement and paint over the area with the mold. Jesse was the only handyman who told me that I might have a bigger issue at hand. He offered to come in with equipment to do a moisture test, and if needed would perform the mold remediation. Unfortunately, it was found that the walls had moisture and needed to be opened up. Jesse and his team sealed off the room and ran air scrubbers to insure that the mold would not spread as the work to remove it began. During this process, it was discovered the mold spread to the next room over, and to top it all off there were signs of termites. Jesse and his team performed the mold remediation on both rooms, with proper preparations in sealing them up and running machines to dry out and prevent the mold from spreading. They also hauled away all the demo, and sealed up the walls after termite treatments(another company), textured and painted the drywall after. If this little setback hadn't changed my financial situation, I would have had Jesse and his team work on more projects around the house!

I suck at these things. I'm basically the least handy guy around, and all the pictures in my house are crooked, with 18 nail holes behind the art. Fred came by, got it done, I don't have to think about it anymore. The mirror is level and I don't have to worry about it coming off the wall, the door works fine now. I used them because I saw them repaint a bathroom at my girlfriend's mom's house which had been in shambles forever. Now it looks great. Some handymen come over and you feel like they are living out of their trucks. I've met Tom the owner, and he's super professional and straight forward. I could find many contractors who would do the big ticket items but they don't seem to care about the little stuff that would make my life easier. Martin from Hintz's originally came over to give me a quote for the damaged siding of my house. However, he didn't stop there . He started pointing out all the little stuff he would help me fixed up along with the siding project without me asking for them or pointing out those problems. He was observant, patient and thorough. I'm glad I picked them . Martin and his crew were wonderful. I was so happy with their work with the siding . I started to give them more jobs around the house . 1 week siding project turned into few months of work around the house. Sound proofing wall, flooring , closing a window, reframing window and door, replacing window trims , kitchen cabinet/ counter top extension , electrical sub panel , recess lights, relocating receptacles, installing recess dryer vent box , relocate crawl space entrance , removing water heater, installing pipes for tankless water heater , demo and rebuild a deck, welding railing, concrete paving etc . There is absolutely nothings that this company doesn't do. We did all of those while we were living in the house . They were very careful and clean to make sure our life was not too disturbed by the construction. I highly recommended Hintz's company.
