Come today, I went to look at the photos again and the price had increased $450. We could have been open to the price change, had they been up front about it. Instead, they confirmed my appointment (prior to me revisiting the site and seeing the change) and didn't say anything about the price change. This is dishonest and greedy. I can't imagine how they actually manage the tenants.

Frank, is an expert negotiator who will get the best deal possible for you without charging an excessive commission. The only negative thing about Frank Rashid, is he has no patience when talking at a more personal level. If you do things his way, without arguing too much about it, everything goes well. But if you want to propose new ideas or simply talk about your thoughts or insecurities, quite normal when selling or buying a property, he has zero patience. At that point he sends you to Durriya, one of his best agents, claiming he has no time to babysit you... Otherwise, he is trustworthy and he would do a good job. I was very motivated to rent the home, and even noted in my application I'd be willing to pay above the listed price. Well a full day goes by and I heard nothing so I called for a status update. The woman on the phone wasn't sure what the status was and said to call back the next day. So I waited and called the next day and spoke to another rep on the phone who seemed just as clueless. I emphasized that I had applied 48 hours ago and wanted to know what my application status was. He said he'd have someone call me back with an update. That evening no phone call, but a form email saying another tenant was signing a lease and I'd be notified if it falls through. I'm very certain I was the first to apply to this property, but they did not follow protocol of screening applications in the order of receipt. Then the lack of follow up and sounding completely clueless about the status of applications was extremely frustrating. I suppose I dodged a bullet not renting from Good Life. I feel bad for the property owner of the home as they would have gotten more in rent from me, and I was ready to sign the lease immediately. Good Life needs to learn better customer service support.

She has unbelievable energy considering she handles seven other HOA's. Our property was suffering under our last management company and the prior Board. That Board didn't notice our property manager was embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars and we were on the verge of bankruptcy. Now, with Amanda's help, financially we are doing so much better. We also have managed to address the deferred maintenance which had been ongoing for many, many years. So much has been accomplished in those two years with Amanda at the helm. I still live in the same unit since 2008, except my landlady passed away 2 years ago and her heirs came to me in early February 2026 and basically said, "We have to sell, so you have first right of refusal on buying, or you'll have to move." They are sweet people and offered me a fair price, and it so happens I'm in a position to buy it now, so we are in escrow. I was aware via neighbors who own their units that last year PMC was FINALLY fired as our management company. The rumor is that they were fired for EMBEZZLING all the money out of our HOA account. (I do not yet know the entire story, but how does that even happen?!) I attended my first HOA meeting last night since being banned in 2011 (for being "just a renter" and having opinions). Now I am an *owner* and a candidate to be on the board. (Good thing PMC was already fired because that would've been my first mission.) There was discussion about termite fumigation again (decided on spot treatments this time), and A LOT of other maintenance that hadn't been kept up (roofs, driveways, landscaping - all of it is in arrears), and now the Board is trying to recover from all the funds being stolen on top of this. They're considering a $10,000 special assessment (TEN THOUSAND!! PER UNIT!!) to cover what was lost so we can simply get the regular maintenance accomplished on our homes. As someone who is in escrow and could still back out, potentially adding $10,000 to the purchase price is obviously NOT appealing. (There was no motion made on it, and I hope we'll be able to find a way around it, but I have to consider it as it is not an insignificant amount of money, IMO.) That is sad for both me AND the sellers. These are the long-term effects of using PMC as a management company. It's not just a problem about lack of customer service. I'm not at all surprised to see other reviews talking about how PMC is lax in sending financial reports and responding to money inquiries from the Board. HOAs still using this company as property managers should absolutely BEWARE and take their business elsewhere immediately.
