I have been using Watsons for mine and my family's dental care for over three years now. We are always pleased with the service but today they were able to repair a chipped tooth at the same appointment I had to examine it. I am sure it probably messed up their schedule to do it but I appreciate not being sent away to wait longer to repair it. read more

Very unsatisfied. Billing department was not pleasant. Unfair billing practices. Unprofessional staff.

Went to a new dentist to get a cleaning done about 6 mths ago. Then I came back for my 2nd cleaning. The dental hygenist was very nice and personable. The office staff, as well as the office, was very warm and welcoming. My dentist was personable and very good. Overall experience was excellent. read more

Highly recommend these folks. Every one was friendly from the time I called to see if they accepted new patients to my appointment. I had a tooth extracted and was nervous but the way they treated me helped calm my nerves throughout the whole process. Very little pain and discomfort, Dr. Rowell and his assistant kept making sure I was ok the whole time. THANK YOU for all that you guys do. read more

Outstanding practice! I've not met anyone in this office that has not gone above and beyond. Too bad not all caregivers are like this. I love these folks. Dr Watson fixed my tooth with a filling, pretty sure anyone else would have told me I needed a root canal and crown. I appreciate the honesty and compassion. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great dentist. read more

These are not honest people. Here's what they did to me. My name is Mr. BN Jordan and I'm a honorably discharged veteran with disability from the United States Marine Corps; I receive dental coverage through MetLife. I called Watson Family Dentistry in advance to set up an appointment for a cleaning and an initial visit because I was considering transferring from Aspen Dental to a new provider for care. They took my information well in advance in preparation for my visit. I arrived, received x-rays, and an evaluation from their hygienist who was a nice lady. However, prior to this appointment NOBODY told me that my insurance was out-of-network. During my initial phone conversation during which I set up the appointment I was told "they accept MetLife." Then, after my first visit I was told that "My cleaning and services were covered by my provider." I left feeling happy, but unsure if I would return because the prices quoted to me for dental work were more than I expected. Now, I hope you can appreciate my surprise months later when I received a $200 bill for the "services" I received. When I called I was informed, "you were told your insurance was out-of-network prior to your visit," by Gina over the phone. But, I must be honest with anyone who's reading: that's a lie! Nobody said anything to me about being out-of-network. Nobody collected my out-of-network costs at the end of my initial visit--nothing. Thank God I didn't get further treatment. If they would have been forthcoming I could have received everything they did for me from another provider with my insurance covering the costs. But here's what's worse: it's my opinion this done intentionally. It was done to lure me in for services as a new patient to pull this trap on me later for profit. I'm a disabled veteran and am on a fixed income, but they couldn't have cared less when I told Gina that over the phone. In closing, I have 3 kids that I provide for and we have to be very careful about how we spend our financial resources--and, Watson Family Dentistry has hurt us financially in a way that could have been entirely avoided. I urge you to find another dental provider--especially if you're a new patient. They really did me a disservice here. I'm posting this to warn other so that the same thing doesn't happen to you or your family too. read more

I made an appointment because 2 teeth on my upper right side have cavities and now are in pain. I went to my appointment where they took xrays of my upper right. They said I need 2 root canals and fillings in 2 other teeth. I said ok let's do it. The Dr. and assistant leave the room and discuss amongst themselves something about the cost will be that of a couple mortgage payments and other things I couldn't quite make out. Assistant comes back in and says ok the Dr. wants to do a full panel of the entire mouth to see what else needs to be done. So instead of scheduling me for any actual dental work I now have to go back again to do another round of xrays to see what else they can do. All I want is my mouth not to hurt and it seems as if all they want is to see how much they can squeeze out of it. And now I can't even be seen again for more xrays for over 2 months. So far not impressed at all. read more

Dr. Bruce and his staff are amazing. my life long fear of the dentist office is gone. Had tooth extracted...no pain or discomfort. I am excited to have the rest of my dental work completed with Dr. Bruce read more

Watson Family Dentistry is about the Watson's family not yours. I have been a patient for almost a decade. I lost insurance and needed an appointment for an issue I was having with my front tooth. They quoted me over $150 more than another local dentist just to be seen for an assessment. I asked if they could match or even come off their price at all for me since I was an established patient and was told NO. I do business with good people, good local people who look out for the community they serve. If you do too, you are wasting your time establishing a partnership with these people because it is and will always be ONE SIDED. I am sad to have to make this review because I don't like to admit when I am wrong. I loved this practice, wrote a stellar review that was viewed almost 1000 times, I deleted it because they do not deserve any praise for a job well done if there is no sense of loyalty to those of us that have kept the practice in business if they aren't there for us when we truly need it. I wasn't asking for free service, just fair market pricing as an established patient. I wasn't worth it. Maybe as a new patient you will be? Your risk. read more

I've been to many dentists in my 69 years, including UCLA and UCSF. When I moved into town and needed help with a bad tooth, the practice took me in immediately. The Watson group is efficiently run and still manages to be a considerate and continually friendly, happy bunch. Dentists as a whole can be solicitous, but I feel that there is a personal component here to awareness of potential/perceived pain, rather than simply professional. The office staff is Always prepared to bend over backwards to facilitate needs being met, and the dental staff has never put any pressure on me to consider (what they might feel to be appropriate) additional procedures. I feel very lucky to have stumbled upon them. read more
