The person who answered the phone asked for my name (in a rude tone). So I gave her my last name bc when I dropped off that's what they put it under. To which I got an answer "are you going to give me a full name so I can find it?" So, trying to be polite, I have them my full name and began to spell it, as I do when I order food over the phone, or Starbucks or giving any info over the phone, because sometimes it's hard to understand on car speaker phone. They interrupted me, with attitude, and told me "you don't have to spell it out, I know how to spell". Needless to say, this attitude ruined our years of good experiences with Monarch. Although the dry cleaning is great, the service staff is not. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

When I took it there, the owner said he didn't know if it could be cleaned thoroughly, because the lace is 10 years old and the dress is 70. I just picked it up today, and it looks like a brand new dress! This is a great business model! Underpromise/overdeliver. I was told it could cost up to $650, which I was willing to pay. I had had the dress preserved after my wedding 43 years ago for $200. It came in at $500.
