This was my first time here and even though the reviews seem a little negative I had the best experience! The people working were super kind, friendly and helpful and did a wonderful job! The last time I went in, I payed for a full interior cleaning and the guys did the worst job possible. the girls at the register inside the building were sweet and very friendly ( keep up the good work ladies!) but the guys doing the additional jobs don't put in effort to really give a satisfactory result. I still had crud all in my cup-holders, my floor mats were absolutely dirty still after they supposedly "deep cleaned" them. For a deep interior clean for $40 I expect it to be done well. I'm planning on selling my car to buy myself a newer model, if not then a new SUV and I don't think I'll get good buyers if my car looks like crap on the inside. read more

My friend and I were out and about and she asked me if I knew a place that does interior car cleaning and I remembered that this place does, so I suggested this place. She opted for the thirty eight dollar package plus six dollars to wash the floormats. They call us over to let us know Everything was finished, and when we got to look at the car there were still crumbs all over the seats and in the consoles and dust still all over the dashboard. I pointed it out to them and the kids said that they don't move anything around, so I asked them nicely to please just vacuum the seats and the consoles and he did but they didn't wipe anything down so I literally took a. Rag and wiped the consoles and everything down while we were there. I think the price is absolutely outrageous for the service you get. How hard is it to actually do a decent job especially when you're paying that kind of money? I understand that these are younger kids they have working there but they could supervise them and show them How to do it correctly. Unfortunately I will never go back here again because for the price you don't get anything really. Save yourself some money and do it yourself if you can. The young men that we talk to were very polite but they need to really be taught. How to clean a car and there? Needs to be. Took my car in on an amazingly warm day, especially considering the unpredictability of the Cleveland weather. I've been to this location many times, given I am a monthly member however I must say on more than one occasion my car wasn't clean... while I could complain I have just taken it back because I am a member. I do wonder what happens when someone that isn't a member is completed and their car is still not clean... not sure if this is just a factor of going to a drive-thru car wash and not a hand wash however when you spend $35 and up for a car cleaning you want to leave clean! Man, I don't get some of the harsh ratings on this page! Waterway is a carwash offering multiple types of washes and a monthly clean car club. You can get interior and/or exterior service and a variety of add-ons. In this area, it's the best car wash. If you're going to be super picky about the job, you should probably do it at home on your own. I really think the teenagers that work here do the best they can and work hard given the super long lines they deal with constantly. I could never do this kind of work. I'm usually very happy with the quality of my car and this location is always full of nice kids ready to help. Best car wash in the area. This is Cleveland though, and this area doesn't seem to value a clean car as much as some other areas of the country. Their membership plans start around $35 per month for unlimited basic washes. Not a bad deal. They have a pretty good convenience store that carries Papyrus greeting cards. Took my truck through to get a good wash and normally get the best outside package they have which is the ceramic package. Went and purchased that and to my surprise for the amount , that they no longer dry off the car and supposedly the tire shine come inside after it leaves the bays. I can tell ya it most certainly does not and half the truck was still dirty. I had to clean it again at home and redo the tires. The membership is worth it only if: 1. You love to have car washes often and need to have the car looking clean always; and 2. You hate washing your own car and are too lazy to vacuum the inside. Compared to automated washes, the fact that you have real kids wiping the car down after the wash, avoids eventual droplet spots and residual dirt in hard-to-reach areas. Most gas stations are grime-filled, mop-bucket-smelling, petri-dish-esque, tobacco-stained institutions that plague every street corner like an unsightly zit. On the other hand, Waterway, unlike any other gas station, is clean and well lit. The bathrooms are spacious and frequently cleaned. I do not feel the urge to run away. As far as gas stations go, this is a rare accomplishment, sadly. The kids who work here are fast, hardworking and sincere; no matter the temperature outside. Wow where do I begin, let's talk price. $12 for soap and water $16 wash plus wax and $20 for tire and rims..... wow wayyy overpriced...I chose $16 since I have a Tesla and wanted wax.This was my first time and since there was a long line I figured, well they've gotta be doing something right. I was so wrong. The place I usually go to is in bainbridge/chagrin and for $12 they include wax. So besides being way overpriced especially for Aurora... the wash was so short and subpar, I actually went straight to my other carwash and had it redone because I knew the wax hadn't worked. Before the soap was all removed this carwash was throwing the wax on..... wow. The washIng process is so short it didn't get all the dirt off my car then the showers were so short the suds were all over my car going into the blower. If a car infront of you gets the interior they have to stop the whole overpriced assembly line for one of their teenagers to jump in, I was in mid shower so that was awesome..... by the time the towel boys were wiping my car down there were suds everywhere. The poor kid had to sit there and several times redo my side mirrors because everyone couldn't get all the suds the first two tries. The towel dryers shouldn't be wiping off suds! There was zero way I was handing over my Tesla car key to a teenager for the interior and exterior service, especially since it was so overpriced and thank god I didn't because I was so disappointed with the exterior that I'll never be back. read more

This place is awful. I was in town for 2 weeks and needed my car washed and I was in the area and have used their chagrin blvd location and was satisfied but wow did this one suck. For $35.00 they were supposed to clean the inside and out and they didn't do anything to the inside of the car. I saw them washing my car mats and that's about the extent of their inside detailing. There was still dog hair all over, the dash hadn't been touched, and the seats weren't clean. If I lifted the rubber mat that they cleaned it was completely dirty and the crevices in between the door and the seat were absolutely filthy. For their cheapest option I could have just gotten an outside car wash and cleaned the mats myself and saved myself $30.00. Bottom line: don't come here unless you just want an outside wash, the inside wash is worthless and you will have to clean it yourself or go to a car wash place that actually does a good job. read more

Took my Jeep here to get a full service cleaning and I left very impressed. I have two dogs that I take in the car quite often and it had been a while since I had gotten my Jeep cleaned so it wasn't in the best condition. When I arrived at Waterway there was about five cars in front of me. The line went very fast and I only had to wait about 5 minutes until I got to talk to the car wash attendant. After giving them your car, they have a waiting room for you to sit in. I only had to wait about 15 minutes for them to do the full service clean. This included them cleaning and vacuuming the inside of my Jeep as well. When I got my Jeep, I was very impressed! Everything was absolutely spotless and worth way more than the price of the wash! When my car was returned my entire front windshield had a crack! A Crack that both the employees and the manager agreed was not there before entering the car! I have a 2017 Jeep Grande Cherokee. I've gone to this place a number of times since its opening. Their car washes are generally not the best, but have gotten worse over time. Never again. It was bad enough that the window edges were all filthy, and the door edges hadn't been wiped down, and the the wheels (up charge) still had brake dust all over, but the car had not been vacuumed properly. No mats moved or lifted, cargo area still had lots of "nits". Forget the door compartments and console (they charge extra for the doors). Complained and the manager on hand said "what did you expect" kind of thing. He then gave it a second shot, but really no better. If I pointed to a spot, he would wipe it, but really, I would have preferred if someone just handed me a wet rag. The car was not particularly dirty, no kids or pets, just dust, lint and some road salt kind of thing. No more. They were generally courteous except for the crack about "what do you expect". So I've been sitting at the Aurora Waterways for a half hour. They managed to lock my keys in the car somehow. I was lucky enough that my son was off work sick and could bring me my spare set. I got a mumbled 'sorry' from one of the kids. No offer of a free wash or ANYTHING. I got all that for $30!!! Last time they see me. They do a nice job...too bad there's no management on site. I have been a member of the waterway club since they opened. I don't know what has happened to their business, all I can tell you is that it has gone steadily downhill. Four instance yesterday I brought my car in for a full service, they forgot to do the inside and left mud all over the exterior. When I asked the young man to go back and do some of the work he was supposed to do he did it and just smeared the mud around the car. Then he stood with his hand out for his tip. I have three cars that I pay for three memberships for that I will probably not renew. Go at your own risk. read more

I've been going here with all 3 of my cars since they opened, and have had the annual membership on two of the cars for a few years. For the first few years, I really liked this place. But over time, they've gotten to the point where I'll only go there if I have no other option. Really sloppy with the washes (the backs of all 3 of my cars are always still dirty when I leave) and the glass cleaning has gotten to a point where it seems they barely care if the windows are clean or not. For the price paid? Wash it yourself or go to a place that still cares. When this place first opened the car wash seemed to be much more thorough than the last one I had a few weeks ago. My truck seemed to come out clean and after the towel dry I left since I was running late. When I turned into the sun a few miles away I saw the horrible smudges on all the windows which was really annoying....and when I stopped later I saw that the lower quarter panels had not even been touched!!!! The clean car club program is a good deal particularly for SUVs and minivans as you save the $2 large car fee with every wash, get free premium washes on Tuesdays, and get $0.10 per gallon discount on gas. I have been here about 4 times. The first 2 times I was like okay they are a little busy I would have rated them a 3, barely acceptable. The 3rd time would have been a 1.5. Dirty windows, soap still on mirrors. Poor vaccum job, but they did spray off the matts. This last last time, they should be ashamed of themselves. It was 2 younger girls that did the work. The outside of the car was dried in a way that created streaks. Back window not done. Side windows not cleaned to the outside edges. Inside mirror filthy. Dash was supposed to be wiped off, it looked like something my 8 year old niece would do for 2 dollars, still dusty and filthy. The matts weren't sprayed off and were not removed when vaccumed. The cup holders and center console weren't touched, except for the section that shows the shifter position. The drivers seat was pulled up when I got in, I adjusted it back. When I got out of the car I noticed they didn't vaccum that part of the floor. They also didn't use the little tool that reaches down into the tight areas. They didn't vaccum the seats, not even the front passenger seat that had crumbs on it from a sandwich I had eaten just before I came there. I will never go back there. It was way too expensive for the shoddy workmanship. I can go to the new do it yourself places and get the same outside wash for $6 and just use their free vaccums then wipe everythign down with paper towels and a bit of windex and Armourall. Saving 15 minutes time wasn't worth the price this time. Rest assured it won't happen again. read more

What an awesome car wash concept! I have never had an issue at this place. It's always fast, friendly and they do great work( much better than I would do!). Everytime I get a wash my car is personally inspected by a manager. I know this because it is their policy(I asked), they have it stated on their name tags and they wear a different uniform that the other workers( it may be subtle difference, but what do expect, for them to wear suits?) I think as consumers we need to open our eyes and take a good look around us, so maybe you had to wait a few minutes because a young kid made a mistake, I'm sure you have made a few in your life. I cleaned out my interior with wet car wipes before I even went there and I cleaned out the minivan except a few things in the back well area. Because it was a minivan and needed a good car clean, I decided to blow the money and take it to Waterway. For $90, I expected better. There is interior streaks in the front glass and certain parts of the interior can be cleaned better. The van could have also been taken through the wash a second time. If I am paying $90 for the works and then tipping the kids at the end, I expect better. Next time, I will run my van through a cheap car wash and then do the rest myself. Or maybe, I will blow another 50 -100 and hire someone who really knows how to clean. At best, this was a $40 job. read more

Today Oct 26 I watched the guys clean my car walked out as the blond who was suppose to be working was looking around then would swipe his wet rag around my car when I went out the windows were smudges I told them they were not clean and showed them the spots they wiped and make it worse I finally got anger and left before I said something that would be#### when I got home I looked at the car the tires were not done right they were half shining and there was bird dropping all over the car and headlight I will not be giving them my business any more I am unable to wash and clean my own car and it is a shame that their service has gotten so bad and they do not seem to care. read more

The worst place to ever get your car washed. They have 16-year-old kids washing cars which rags will fall on the ground collecting rocks and pebbles, they will pick them back up and dry your car which causes scratches. I've had this happen to me On my 2011 Hyundai Sonata which they scratched all my windows tints on it first wash from being bought off the truck. That happened back in 2011. I now take my 2014 Cadillac ATS up there to get washed and they cracked my navigation screen which now I have to go through insurance because their managers so rudely told me to go F myself and they aren't responsible. All I can say is wash your cars yourself because kids don't know how to do it these days and to pay the money they charge for quantity not quality! I would never recommend this place to anybody because they are a low class , unprofessional,rude business that has ever been created ! read more
