absolutely wonderful job done by seana. we spent over seven hours together as she color corrected my black box dyed hair (which was three different colors, BTW) then gave me a full highlight and cut. not only is she kind, she really cares about giving her clients the cut and color that truly compliments your skin tone and eye color. now my hair is a gorgeous brunette with peekaboo highlights and a haircut that suits my face shape. i feel one of a kind. i am so grateful to have found you seana! read more

Renee did an amazing job with my wavy hair.. totally sold on her service. The salon has a very clean and upscale vibe, and everyone is friendly and happy. Totally recommend this salon! read more

None & Done~ First time appointment with Steven. I showed up a few minutes early, used the restroom and sat down in a chair behind Steven, who was on his cell phone. A couple minutes after my appointment time, he continued scrolling messages, gave me half a look and called a customer to leave her a message about a certain color for her hair. No greeting or I'll be with you in a minute, just ignored me, so I walked out. I'll never go to Waterstone again. Unfortunate waste of time. read more

Seana did an amazing job cutting my hair. She's also very informative about the products she uses. Love my new hair! read more

I love, love, love my color and cut. Seana was spot-on with vision and execution. She also spent a lot of time educating me on products and techniques. My hair looks better than it has in years. Thank you. read more

Leigha is AMAZING! What a gift Ashland has received! Not only is she kind and fun, she is super talented and very well educated. The past 5 years I've lived in large cities and have paid a lot of money to find the perfect stylist. Moving to Ashland had me worried for my hair!! Leigh is such a great listener and it's obvious that she has continued her education and is well versed in new looks and coloring techniques. I'm looking forward to my next appointment! read more

Lezlie Green is the best hairdresser I have ever worked with, hands down. This includes my crazy days in Beverly Hills when I would pay upwards of $200 for a men's haircut at Vidal Sassoon on Rodeo. She is an artist and takes the long view when she starts cutting your hair. Mine has just gotten better and better since I started seeing her a year or so ago. Think about it, how many staunch heterosexuals write a Yelp review about their freakin' haircut. Exactly. Because Lezlie deserves the public praise, I'm doing it. Do yourself a favor. Go see her. IF you can get in, mind you, because she's often fully booked. My whole family goes there, even my 73 year old father who has no hair to cut but still wants to do the best damn job with what he has left. In addition to being a total pro with the scissors, she's also a blast to talk to and has been around the block. Great stories. Ask her about her Chinese Crested. Needless to say I will be back forever. read more

Chris is absolutely the best. His expertise in hair color and precision hair cut is the best. Very pleased, and highly recommend this salon.

Steven was amazing! He did a really fantastic job with my hair, and the salon itself is beautiful as well. He made sure everything looked perfect, and styled my hair the best it has ever looked. Such a wondeful salon, by far the best I have been to in Ashland. Will 100% go again and recommend to anybody read more

New client and hopefully forever client! Beautiful location and my master stylist Shawna is great! She educated me on how to treat my fine, thin hair and took time to teach me how to style my hair. And not just a quick "use this, spray this," but an actual tutorial! Great people give great hair, and this place is great! read more

Got my haircut by Leigha- best haircut I've had in ages! Absolutely love what she did and it was with very little direction from me since I wasn't really sure what I wanted. Also a great atmosphere at the salon, good price and she is super sweet & personable! read more

Oh my gosh -- Steve! I waited eight months, searching for someone with a super great short hair cut to ask them for a good recommendation. After having a celebrity stylist in LA, I've become so spoiled and have high expectations when it comes to a great cut. Finally, this weekend I stopped a local woman with a great cut and she pointed me to Steve. My search is over. Steve listens, thinks what you want through, gives advice and then cuts like an artist. Thank gosh, I've got my guy. No more schlepping around with bad hair to avoid a bad hair cut! read more

Lezlie has made me love my hair! I have never had a haircut where I have gotten so many compliments. Lets be honest here, my hair is lucky to get a brush everyday or a trim once a year. I can't be bothered to curl, color(actually excited when I see a grey hair on my head), straighten, gel, hairspray or do anything else to my hair. I'm a no fuss kinda girl. So to get many compliments when I do nothing to my hair is kinda great! Thanks Lezlie for making my hair look amazing in all its naturalness as well as compliment my face. read more

Rene did an amazing job with my haircut. It looks and feels great, plus she was fast. Very accommodating and friendly. My old hairdresser retired and I was definitely a little hesitant to find a new one, but I am so happy I found Rene. I also love that she works on the weekends, makes it easy for those of us who work all week long. Thank you! read more

I love this place-- it's upscale but comfortable and I love the green and white color scheme. Always local art on the walls, too-- which is nice. Steven always does an amazing job with my hair and I love the Kevin Murphy products they use. Just GO! read more

Steven, with his knowledge and inspiration in the hair realm, is the best stylist, colorist, and comedian I have found. I grew up in a salon in the 80's and 90's. It was part of my time with my mother and I grew accustomed to the smells and salon chatter. Needless to say, I feel comfortable in salons and it takes a special person for me to call my personal stylist...and friend. That said, getting my hair done is more than just the result. The location, the ambiance, and the relationship all matter just as much as looking amazing when I walk out the door. With Steven, his playful banter comes as easily as the quality of the work that he does and it's with much enthusiasm that I have referred countless friends to him over the last eight years. Over this time, he's accommodated "almost" every crazy idea I've had with professional skill and always uses the safest methods for my hair. He's carries the best haircare line and I'm totally in love with Kevin.Murphy. It's helped heal my damaged ends from hot tools and mineral water, and I can choose to bolster my curls or smooth it out...and it actually looks nice. I have naturally curly hair that feels like it's different every day I wake up. So, with the changing seasons and my moods, I can schedule online, waltz in for my appointment, have fun, and know that I'm in good hands. read more

Tessa Spivey..new to me and I was ecstatic with my results. I am graying on my temples...have brown natural color and 6 month old blonde highlights... on long hair. My request was...what can you do to make my hair look good. She talked with me, listened to my thoughts and told me what she would do. I liked what she said and hoped for the best. Tessa blended all colors perfectly so that I have a beautiful, naturally appearing blonde head of hair. Just the perfect color for me...so shiny and healthy looking. I couldn't have been happier....and it gave me an uplifting look and feeling. I'll be back sooner than later! Thank you Tessa! ......Suzanne from Ashland read more

All I can say is my wife loved the service, the cut, and whatever else it is women do there.

I am visiting Ashland for a month and took the Yelp recommendations of booking a hair appoint with Leigha. My cut is outstanding. She listened carefully to what I wanted, which was a slightly different style, and she gave me a fantastic cut at a great price. A very talented stylist! read more

A few weeks ago while visiting my sister in Ashland I decided I was WAY overdue for a haircut! Having naturally curly hair, I'm always afraid to let someone new cut my hair. I have to say that Steven gave me the best haircut I think I have ever had plus, he taught me some great styling tips as we'll! Thank-you Steven, my trips to Ashland will now always include a trip to your salon! read more

Another excellent experience with Leigha! I have thick, curly hair, and for some reason barbers seem to always want to aggressively taper it down on the sides and back, even when I tell them not to. Leigha listened to my desires and helped make them a reality, even explaining some details about hair care to me that I had never understood before. And she's friendly, to boot! read more

I went in to get highlights done in my hair. Unfortunately, after giving up 90 minutes of my time and $90, I looked pretty much the same as before I went in. Nobody asked me to point out on a picture ahead of time, the look that I was going for. It's surprising as this salon is pretty well reviewed. Unfortunately for me it was a big waste of money. read more

On my first visit, I received one of the best haircuts of my life from Lezlie. On my second visit, Lezlie gave me one of the worst haircuts I have ever had. My hair was significantly shorter on one side than the other, and it was not supposed to be an asymmetrical cut. I chose not to risk a third visit. read more

I came here after seeing brochures in the Waterstone Spa after my massage treatment and decided to continue my day of pampering with a hair cut & color, and a manicure. Since it was such an impromptu decision, I called after getting out of the spa to see if they had any openings they could squeeze me into. They were very accommodating and were able to take me right away. Miranda did my hair and she was wonderful- did a great job and was really friendly, witty, & fun to talk to. I love the Kevin Murphy products they use at this salon and Miranda went above & beyond, giving me samples and writing down suggestions on some of the products I had asked her about. After my hair treatment, I had my nails done.. I am SO sorry, I can't remember the girl's name who did them but she was wonderful and also very friendly. The best part was the price...both girls were offering specials (free haircut with color and 50% off nail services) so for a manicure, haircut, and color, my total came to $80. This is usually around what I pay for a cut alone! Everything about this place made me happy. read more

Best salon I have ever been to!!! Steven is AMAZING. I spent three years looking for the right color and Steven hit it right on the money. He was extremely efficient and even found ways for me to save money. Very customer oriented and friendly. Extremely clean atmosphere and very reasonably priced! Will not be changing salons any time soon! read more

Such a great place! I went in with a crisis because my last hair dresser really messed up my hair. I went in and got everything corrected and ended up leaving with a great haircut! I believe his name was Steven. Any guy who's looking for a really good mens cut I would recommend him. Very affordable and the staff is great. I definitely will be recommending them and continue to get my hair done here! Thanks for being such a great salon! read more

I got a refund. He seems great if you have straight hair.

I arrived early and the person said 'Oh, you are early, can you wait?' That's a wrong answer to customer. Need more customer service skills. When I finally brought to the chair, the desk was covered with hair. Where am I supposed to put my bag?I was holding it for the entire time I had hair cut. This place had so many great reviews so maybe my expectation was very high but honestly, nothing impressed me at all. People seemed unhappy to work there and I did not like the atmosphere. $50 plus 15% tip for hair cut, I will go to someplace that I feel more relaxed and comfortable. read more

I have traveled around quite a bit in recent years and get my hair colored regularly and I can honestly say that Leigha has been my favorite stylist! She really takes the time to make sure you hair comes out just right. She did a base color and highlights for me and it came out very natural looking, exactly what I wanted! She is also just generally a kind person and fun to talk to during your appointment! read more

I love this Salon! Great atmosphere, great local art on the walls, (which the owner say's changes every 6 weeks). Had a 2 hour pedicure for my much needed to be pampered feet with Jessica and loved every minute. She had good recommendations, used a special soaking salt which she topped off with fresh lavender. Heavenly. This is my third relaxing, experience with Jessica and I highly recommend her - finger and toe delight! The best value I have found is her nails don't chip between visits. Oh, and I booked online which was really easy. That part I loved! Yes, she gets my whoohoo! read more

Lezlie has been my hair stylist for many years. I have been coloring my hair for too many years and Lezlie has always done a great job with it. THAN, 2 years ago, she saw on Halloween with a White Wig on and remarked "You could wear your hair white versus needing it colored by the 3rd week. It took her 2 years to talk me into letting it grow out to it's natural color. White/Platium Everyone likes it better on me and tell not to color it. That it makes me look lighter and 10 years younger. They ask me what made decide to go this direction I tell them the story and say would you believe a hair designer tell not to color your hair because of a wig? She was so right. Thank you Lezlie, Becky K. read more

I have never been to this salon but my favorite hair stylist just started here. Leigha is amazing and has been doing my hair for 2 years now. She always knows how to make my hair look exactly how I want and when I'm indecisive we always come up with a great plan together. I always leave her feeling so happy and loving my hair. I trust her with my hair and I'm so sad she has left Eugene! I love her so much my sister and I might even take trips down to Ashland just to get our hair done! read more

It's always risky walking into a salon without any recommendations but my haircut needed help so I "took a chance" and booked an appointment with Miranda. My intent was to observe how she styled my hair with thoughts of returning if I liked her work. On the very first visit after explaining what I was after Miranda offered to help and went to work. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Miranda is not only excellent at her craft, she's also fun. I left Waterstone with the haircut I've been after and a very happy woman. Thanks, Miranda! read more

Wow! Those Kevin Murphy products make a huge difference! I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Lezlie Green for 7 years and have always loved what she has done and how great my hair looked when I came out of the salon. Last time I went, she had me take home a sample of the Kevin Murphy Young Again Immortel Oil. I am over 50 and the ends of my hair are always dry- well, not anymore.... This is a great product and my hair is now always soft down to the tips. It looks more lustrous and definitely younger. My husband noticed it immediately and he is not normally someone who notices these types of things! Thanks, Lezlie, for suggesting such a great product and taking care of my hair. read more

In November I went to Steven, based on Yelp reviews, I asked for just a trim and to keep the line of my previous haircut, which had last been done in September. The last time I had such a butcher job was when I cut my own hair with my brother's straight razor in high school. He used thinning shears to completely destroy the line and left big gaps in two places. It's taken almost five months, with help from a stylist in Portland, to repair most of the damage and get the cut to where I can style it without the appearance of being chewed on by a giant rodent. Never again. read more

My family just moved to Ashland and we were looking for a quality salon to all be able to go to. Well we have found it! My sons and I have had the pleasure of having Miranda do our hair and she does such a wonderful job! She is attentive and a perfectionist! I can't say enough about her! The salon is very welcoming and clean. I've also had the pleasure of having a mani and pedi done here by Jessica and it was wonderful! Very relaxing and my toes and hands looked awesome! read more

Lezlie Green has been my preferred hair stylist for over 5 years. She taught me how to scrunch my hair to make it look even curliers, how to effectively use henna, and has totally helped me to grow my hair longer and thicker when I didn't think I could. She's a true magician with hair! And I really LOVE how she cut my hair last time. It's like a lion's mane, all fluffy and wild & looking fantastic. I no longer live in Ashland, but still get a cut from her every time I go up. Thanks Lezlie! read more

Don't like the fact that they do not use Acrylic nails. Kinda of got fanessed to get them don't there thinking I was getting extinctions. But only had my nails painted for and paid40$!!!! Only think I like about my visit was the lady who painted them. Besides that will probably never go back again. read more

Miranda is THE BEST! She did my hair, the hair for all my bridesmaids, and my flower girl's hair for my wedding at the Ashland Springs Hotel. We all loved our hair, looked amazing, and got compliments all night long. During the trial she was very attentive and receptive, and more than willing to put in the time and effort to tweak and fine tune my vaguely-stated look until I was happy with it. I didn't give her much to go on, but she somehow managed to pin down exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend doing a trial; it was great to be able to take our time with the it and play around until the right thing clicked. I came in the day before my wedding to get my hair washed and curled. Due to this my hair looked amazing for my rehearsal dinner and, shockingly, even the morning after sleeping on it and tossing and turning with my full host of wedding jitters. Miranda even gave me a free impromptu hand massage during our styling. The day of she was perfect. She came to the venue early, matched all the girls' styles to what they wanted, and even took on my flower girl, who was not originally going to get her hair done, at the last minute. Throughout the entire getting ready process she was constantly checking and re-evaluating the work she'd already done, and if she noticed something she didn't like or needed more work on a style she already finished she would attend to it right away. Up until the last minute she was watching my hair and pinning up stray strands; I felt very attended to and like my hair was perfect by the time I stepped out for the aisle. And after a night of rigorous dancing, we all still looked amazing, without so much as a strand out of place. Obviously I never plan on having another wedding, but I almost wish I did so I could have Miranda do my hair again. The next time I'm in Ashland for anything, I might have to treat myself to a styling with her. Even if I'm only going to be hiking or biking, I might as well look fabulous while doing it. read more

I always assumed that Waterstone was an upscale salon with great products and services. Boy was I wrong. I scheduled a Spa pedicure, a $50 service. I was looking forward to a relaxing hour of massage and foot cleanse. The spa pedicure is a joke. You sit in a tiny room that is super HOT and muggy. There isn't a massage chair, instead a tiny roller chair in the corner. A bucket is brought with water and you literally lean your feet on the technicians legs during the entire service, very weird. The woman who performed my pedicure was nice but did a very mediocre job. I left with scratchy heels, dirty cuticles and nail polish all over my toes. I was so disappointed and won't be back! I can get a full spa pedicure at a mom and pop shop for less than $50. read more
